Nepal Trekking Routes, is one of the BEST trekking companies in Kathmandu. Shailesh, the owner is very professional and due diligent. Arranged all the necessary permits, flights and private jeep drives with up most perfection and professionalism. We did Manaslu Circuit Trek, and Langtang Gosaikunda trek. Both times we had our favorite guide Santa to accompany us and our favorite porter Binod. Both of them were wonderful, always taking care of all our needs. Very professional and very caring. Always happy and smiling. and by the end of our stay, we became friends and family. We very much enjoyed the final dinner with all of them in their home and that is an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this tour of Nepal to anyone wanting to have a good overview of the country. We were able to travel smoothly with the help of our tour guide ,Shailesh who picked us up from the airport and enabled us to travel safely to see many beautiful sites. We had a great experience with comfortable and clean accomodation and delicious food! The guides in each area that were organised by company owner, Shailesh were knowledgeable and friendly. We saw beautiful sites and met beautiful people. The drivers and transport were safe and we were able to have free time to ourselves as we wanted. We were able to be flexible with the tour to suit us. We trusted Shailesh and all elements of he tour were easy. Ich machte die Tour im März 2024.Die Tour war von der Ankunft bis zum Abflug gut organisiert und konnte dennoch individuelle angepasst werden. Lag 2 Tage krank im Bett und erreichten dennoch unser Ziel. Besondern Dank an OSO den Führer vor Ort und Shaillesh als Organisator.
Würde sofort wieder kommen, gebe es nicht Millionen anderer Dinge auf der Welt die ich ebenfalls sehen will.

I recently got back from an Everest Base Camp trek with helicopter return, using Nepal Trekking Routes Pvt. Ltd. I have nothing but good things to say about the owner of the company Shailesh, our guide Bishnu and Porter Dick. From the time we booked the trek, to being greeted at the airport, taken to the hotel, flight to Lukla, accommodation along the route, service at breakfast lunch and dinner. The above people made sure that all our needs were more than met. The service was top class and everyone was more than accommodating, They went above and beyond my expectations. Upon returning to Katmandu we again were promptly met at the airport, brought to our hotel. We had an excellent tour of Katmandu the next day, and we were delivered to the airport for our return flight home If you decide to do this or some other trek I would highly recommend using this company. This is coming from a person who has traveled to over 80 countries and been to all 7 continents. Top class, great people.

Thank you for making this trip unforgettable. City guide knew a lot about cultural history and we saw the big places of kathmandu.

I was a solo trekker with my guide Deepen who was very knowledgeable and managed everything very well from handling the permits to Lukla airport travel arrangment. His support and inputs were invaluable, making this a great and memorable trip. NTR, the managing company was also reliable and provided many services (went above and beyond). Shailesh, the owner in particular, was very kind, quick to respond and accommodating. Overall my experience was above expectations.

Ich machte im März den Manaslu Trek mit Nepal Trekking Routes. Es war das 2 Mal mit dem Unternehmen. Wie beim ersten Mal, war es eine absolut runde Sache. Der Trip, die Landschaft etc.war uriger als der für Touristen voll erschlossene Annapurna-Trek. Shaillesh hat sich um jede Kleinigkeit der Vor und Nachbereitung gekümmert. Während sich Oso erneut als Trekkingguide auf der Tour erneut zu 100%bewährt hat. Ich kann also nur gutes über das Team sagen und es wirklich weiterempfehlen.

I’ve been on two treks with Nepal Trekking Routes: Lower/Upper Dolpo and Three High Passes + EBC. From planning to execution, the company exhibited competence and flexibility. both times I was linked up with experienced and good-natured guides. We had all the gear we needed and the food was also surprisingly good for a camping trip (Dolpo). The pricing was very competitive, and Shailesh, the company owner treated me like family—I had the great pleasure of spending some time with his family both in Dhading and in Kathmandu. Communication is very responsive, airport pickup/dropoff went smoothly, solid accommodations, the works. I highly recommend Nepal Trekking Routes.

The trekking to Mt Everest Base Camp was a great experience and a challenge. The path was steep, the lodges were ascetic, the air was thin (at least during the last couple of days), but everything was manageable. The views of the Himalayas along the way were magnificent and made the whole journey worth doing and re-doing. The acclimatization was gradual so I didn't experience any of the mountain sickness symptoms. The return by a helicopter saves time and energy after the final point of the trek has been reached.
The team who organized the trip and were helping along the way - Shailesh (boss), Bishnu (guide) and Bupal (porter) - were very caring and flexible to our needs.
To sum up, this experience is highly recommended.

What an experience!!! Returned from Annapurna Circuit Trek a little over a week ago. Nepal Trekking Routes staff took care of all the essential details for the trip from permits to transportation to accomodations. They were flexible and accommodate any of the last minute requests by the tour members (Plane/bus tickets/jet rentals, etc....). The guide was calm, friendly, and flexible with the Trekking iteniery allowing us to soak in the fresh air and enjoy nature. The porters , Sundess & Bishnu were very friendly and took care of the important details during mealtimes. I was completely relaxed during the Trekking. I highly recommend touring with Nepal Trekking Routes. I will definitely will come back for another Trekking trip with them.

It was a fantastic trekking. The views were amazing. The trekking is well organized. Staffs are very friendly and always try their best to accommodate our needs. The guide has a lot of experience to help us to reach our goals. He makes sure everyone was safe, and he waited for us. It was absolutely an unforgettable experiences.

I strongly recommend this company. The next time I come back to do the other trekking, I definitely go with Nepal Trekking Route - one of the best.

Just got back from Nepal having selected Nepal Trekking Routes Pvt. Ltd to provide the guide and tour package for the Annapurna Circuit. First off, this group seriously takes personal satisfaction as their #1 priority. They expertly took care of all details, working behind the scenes to ensure that everything went perfectly. When I needed an extra day in Pokhara and a revision of the airline itinerary, they took care of it without a worry to me. They even arranged to have my room upgraded (at no charge) when the hotel's offering was less than satisfactory. They are the most personable people, with the guide engaging and very knowledgeable. Best tour experience ever!

Gd company- efficient, gd communication. I had a male guide for the Annapurna circuit, who knew his stuff, will go when I asked, so not rushed out early morning. Although cloud less in the mornings. They also have female guides too. Over all as I was travelling solo- company flexible with service to meet my needs. I’d use again

The crossing of the Mera Peak , on foot – which used to seem possible only under extreme hardship, can be experienced by means of well-organised hiking tours by Nepal Trekking Routes (NTR), nepaltrekkingroutes.com. This trip was an awesome experience. I really enjoyed my experience with NTR and this is my second trip with the company. Shailesh was great at communication before the tour and being flexible to fit us into a tour that would match our availability.

It's a hidden gem, this creates the opportunity to hike through this incredible journey and a life time experience with breath taking views in snow dessert. On our hike we went to the peak of the mountain and we're surrounded by stunning views. I was there in March 2022, new season just started, so the snow was still deep, fresh snow on daily bases and occurrence of avalanches. With forests in the lower regions, the path along a stream from flows and snow desert on the way to the top make it the best experience with nature one could ask for. The view from the peak is simply breath-taking.

The trek scheduled for 18 days was well-organised in the usual professional manner. With daily walking time a maximum of six to eight hours, depending on fitness, weather conditions and gradient. My advice to you is work out all your muscles and make sure you are in a good shape. Answered questions and sharing joke or a story. The guide, Tanji Sherpa is a very experienced and well equipped and has Indepth knowledge of the routes, if a route is block due to avalanche, he knows the alternative. As we were going up, it was very foggy and misty and it was hard to tell what was surrounding us. As we reached our cabin it was still foggy. He was very patient with us and helped go through the hard moments of the trek. Tanji supplied all of the necessary materials for the climb so this made preparation easy and effortless. Couple of times the tea houses were closed during ascend and Tanji contacts opened this for us specially for the night to stay even having to travel themselves to accommodate us.

All around, an imposing mountain backdrop shows off the impressive peaks towering over peaks and everything, and once you arrive at you destination you will be met by wonderful smiling people who offer a great hospitability. When I awoke and looked out the cabin window, I couldn't believe my eyes. We were above the cloud line and could only see the peaks of the surrounding mountains. You can hear the sound of waterfall during the trek and at night the sound of nature and waterfall are very relaxing. You meet some wonderful people whom have a great depth of experience. People who have climb Mount Everest and reaching its summit as solo and sherpa who has reached the peak 32 times.

Be prepare for an extremely challenging trek in snow as the track are not visible but guided by very experience guide who Live's around the region and knows the routes well. On several occasions the route was changed due to avalanche. Enjoyed the scenery and had a great trip. Already planning for the third trip.

I travelled with my Uncle and Dad, Nepal is a beautiful country made only better by visiting through Nepal trekking routes. We started in the main city of Kathmandu and were treated to a rich and diverse culture along side some beautiful sites and views. The guides were very professional and always answered questions which offered me a cultural or historical lesson about the land and it’s people. My favourite part of the trip was when we left the cities and trekked into the mountains leaving civilisation behind. The porter and guide were extremely knowledgeable and always waited if we were out of breath or had a query / concern. I would highly recommend the services of this company as not only are they professional but they offer you a unique look at an interesting culture and beautiful land.

My wife and I booked our EBC trek with Shailesh Pokharel owner of Nepal trekking routes. Before leave south Africa(home) he called us have us great advice. Picked us up directly from the airport on arrival and took us to a really nice hotel, so comfy. Organised an amazing guide (kumar) to take us on a day tour of kathmandu and eventually saw us to the airport to fly to lukla.
He really looked after us, I am so grateful to shailesh for making our whole trip really easy and well organized, I really felt like I couldn't do it without him.

His younger brother, Mr Ram was our guide, he has done this trek numerous times, walked along side us encouragingly with good stories to tell, he eventually felt like my own younger brother along for the adventure, I really enjoyed that.
