Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience. We bought a ceiling fan two years ago which never worked well, it made a terrible grinding noise when we turned it on. Netlighting sent us a new one after months of back and forth which did work through the summer. We turned the fan on this spring and again a terrible grinding noise, wouldn't go to high speed, etc. This is a £400 fan and Netlighting has sent us two faulty units.

We sent our first email for this fault on May 12 with a video showing the fault. Months have passed, chasing continuously, and we have only had assurances that they will get in contact with us once there is a resolution. We have not had a single response with any resolution in over three months. What a waste of our money and time. I would never recommend Netlighting to anyone.

Great company to deal with

Great company to deal with. New light arrived with a fault on the shade, emailed Netlighting and they answered the next day with an apology and sent a replacement shade immediately. Couldn't have asked for a better service and also love the light.

What a wonderful helpful experience I…

What a wonderful helpful experience I received today with a repeat order i made by accident.
After weeks of trying to return them via The Range customer services, i decided to go straight to the seller Netlighting. I spoke with a manager and my problem was solved within minutes, he immediately sent me return labels and arranged for the order to be picked up by DHL the very same day, which it was and within the given time.
An excellent service, and beautiful products I won’t hesitate to use Netlighting for any future lighting requirements , but next time il be sure to go directly to their website.
I cannot thank them enough for their help and efficiancy after the last 3 weeks of very poor customer service given by the Range it was a pleasure speaking with The manager today, i cant tell you how grateful i am to have this finally resolved, Thank you once again.

The fault was mine and Netlighting were great.

If this is the same company that I ordered 2 Tiffany style ceiling lights from via B & Q, then this review is for them. If it is not, then I apologise to them.
However, if they are, then one shade came with no fittings and when B & Q raised this with them I have had a few emails whilst they looked for the missing parts and eventually they have said the parts will be with me within 7-10 days. Where is their quality control? There was a specific slot in the packing where the components go and it was so obviously empty! We had an electrician on site who was set to install the lighting and now we have to not only wait to get him back when we eventually get the parts, but have to pay again to get him back.
Not happy with this sloppy service.
I am updating my review as this whole problem was my fault. Netlighting was doing all it could to try to track down the missing parts or replace them and it was only at the point of my having to return the lights (which are absolutely stunning and have seen no others like them) that I checked through the box and found the fittings stuck under the bottom flap of the box and hidden by polytrene. I feel a complete idiot but the gentleman I apologised to at Netlighting was so nice and said he war happy that the issue had been resolved. So, in conclusion, my Netlighting lights are beautiful, the staff go the extra mile to help and very graciously accepted my apologies, saying they were pleased that all ended well and with a very satisfied customer!

Shambles…

Purchased a 5 bulb ceiling light and decided to purchase the bulbs for it at the same time so that it could be fitted as soon as it arrived. It was quite a few days before the light was dispatched. I was surprised that the light was coming from Italy. There was no indication that the light would be coming from Italy, and the bulbs would come separately when I originally purchased them. The light fitting took several days to arrive and when it did there were no bulbs with the light fitting. I contacted the seller and requested the missing bulbs urgently. It was nearly 2 days before I received a response to my email. It was a patronising response asking whether I was sure that the light had been ordered from them. It asked me to send them a photo of it to prove that I had received a light fitting from them. After I sent my initial email - and before the seller's response - I received a further dispatch notification from DHL. I assumed this was the bulbs. I responded to the seller with a photo of the light fitting and indicated that I had received a notification of a second dispatch which I assumed was the bulbs. I expressed my disappointment that the bulbs hadn't come with the original delivery. There was a further lengthy delay for a response. They acknowledged my order and it seemed that the second dispatch was a second light fitting and there were no bulbs with it. They indicated that they would get the bulbs to me the next day of the day after. They gave no tracking details. When nothing arrived the following day I requested some tracking details for the bulbs so that I might ensure that someone was available to take delivery. This time the email in response only took just over 24 hours. It gave a link for tracking details. I checked them and DPD hadn't yet received the package. The bulbs did finally turn up the following day but they clearly hadn't been dispatched until after my follow up e-mail. When the bulbs arrived one of the 5 bulbs didn't work. I emailed a photo of the fitted light showing the working and non-working bulbs. I advised them that I was not happy to wait the length of time it would take them to get around to sending me a replacement bulb and that I was purchasing replacements locally so that I could have a fully working light now. I asked the seller to let me have a refund for one fifth of the cost of the bulbs. I received a response 3 days later indicating that they would send me a replacement bulb. They clearly did not read my email or else decided to ignore it. This seller is a shambles. They originally didn't believe I'd ordered a light from them (although I'd quoted the order number in my email). They sent a second light fitting to me and were unable to cancel it or secure its return at their end. I had to refuse delivery. They are sluggish in responding which is exasperated by their failure to deal fully with the matters raised thereby necessitating further sluggish emails. They put this down to the very busy Black Friday period of shopping. A thoroughly painful shopping experience. Despite the experience being painful the light fitting itself is lovely and at a good price. The Seller apologised for the inconvenience.

Trouble free purchase of a quality product.

I had never heard of this Netlighting.
Ordering was straight forward and despatch and delivery prompt. I was informed at every stage of the process.
I made a mistake with my order which they helped me fix without issue. When my lights came, they were very well packaged, clear instructions, etc. couldn’t really do better.
The lights themselves were from the Netherlands and I thought the quality of product reflected this.

Great company and superb customer service

I had a really good experience with NetLighting - I had a large order, shipping outside the UK and Joseph and team were great to assist. Extremely prompt, kept on top of the order as it was multiple shipments and put my mind at ease. The actual products are a great quality, so overall very happy and will use them again.
