After buying the iq and being mislead into thinking the 3 views came for the £450- NOPE! you need to buy the rear cam for another £150, which I did (stupidly) after waiting a week and no camera that was suppose to be delivered next day I reached out to next base to see where it was and they tell me it’s out of stock and don’t know when it will be coming back in- YET TOOK MY MONEY! (charging people for something they don’t have and don’t tell you- very disappointed with everything and I havnt even tried the stupid thing yet and after reading all the neg reviews I’m not expecting much.

Phurchased this as part of a package, but the software has not been made live to use the rear cam function, i had it all fitted professionally and yet the rear cam dont connect on the app. Dont buy the rear camera this is my advise. Wait until the software is sorted and by then they would of shelved the IQ and moved onto IQ2 i reckon. Only deserve one star i think not a happy customer even im happy to subscribe.. What a mess which id gone to think aware with there 4g dash cam .

I have had this for two months now. The live view does not work at all now. No notifications show. Rear camera does not work. Have had endless emails to Nextbase support they are very helpful but still do not have a working dashcam. would not recommend spending money on this until Nextbase get it working properly, which based on current progress could be some time.
It simply is not working, and there is no information on when this camera will work. Also, the installation process was not completed when choosing both front and rear cameras. I was only able to install it after the front camera was installed and after the activation of the subscription -- Edited 13 March 2024 The rear camera is now working and functioning as it should. I would like this camera to feature two channels, enabling it to also pointing the cabin from the rear and ensure coverage of the back windows.

Took a while for the software to kick in but now working perfectly.
Due to not actually receiving my order then I can only give a 1 star review, but that's your own fault as you haven't sent me my order. This may change once I finally do recieve product.

This is the second time I’ve been asked to review this product that ordered on 16th November and STILL have NOT received. Most recently was told on Sunday 26th Nov “However, new stock has come in over the weekend so you can expect your order to be dispatched on Monday” and yet the status of my order still says “Awaiting despatch”, last updated on 17th November. I am one pissed off customer!! Being asked twice to review a product I haven’t received is rubbing salt in the wound!!

Now that I've got it connected I'm very impressed with it. Field of vision is excellent.
Not working, keeps dropping out and looses video stream. Slows the system down when it sometimes connects. I have left disconnected for now. needs a fix
Was very problematic with app to begin with but after firmware update seems to be a little better
Good product but, very expensive for what it is and don’t think that is justified after paying over £400 for the IQ front camera. That said, it works well, after a firmware update.
This works really well with the front base unit. The camera is easy to fit only took me 20minutes, but I am an electrical and mechanical engineer so have lots of experience, even so it would be less than an hour to fit.the quality of the unit is just as expected from Nextbase and is very high. The app for the IQ is really good and allows you to check on your car at any time. Real time feed is excellent and both inside and outside is crystal clear. I find it really hard to find fault with all my Nextbase products in all my cars and would never even think of looking for another product.

The camera worked then the device did an over-the-air update then no rear camera I just ordered the products from their website no mention it would not work. "It looks as though you are one of the lucky few who have received the camera prior to the official launch date for the iQ Rear Camera, we are expecting a firmware update to be released within the next few days which will enable you to successfully connect"
I can't use it until you sort out the software,as it's not working properly
