I was please with the prompt arrival of my Morello Cherry syrup and my looking forward to my first Morello Cherry Spritz.

Ordered on a Saturday. Got informed my parcel was not being sent due to the package being damaged by DPD. Chatted to the chat assistant that gave me two different dates for when my parcel would arrive. Got told my stuff would arrive to day and yesterday both in the same chat which confused me . Needed them for before 9 am today, alas they arrived too late and also didn't deliver the product I wanted the most . 2 stars because they have issued a refund on the product that is now out of stock. I took a chance on a new company to order from and I just feel let down. Maybe it's my own fault for not ordering on the Friday but I feel like I've just been let down . Also i have read some reviews saying they are having issues with DPD delivery things so would advise maybe looking into alternative delivery companies if possible

Excellent price for the best Japanese coffee in the world ! Really good service and I look forward to being a regular customer. I can't always find this coffee in the wilds of Lincolnshire.

⁸I was let down by another company and urgently needed stock for an upcoming event, but all of my local suppliers were out.

I then found Next Day Coffee, who offered next-day delivery, which I thought would be the solution. I placed my order on Sunday, expecting it to arrive on the next working day (Tuesday).

When the order arrived and I opened it, I found that all of the ice cream mix was missing. I called and spoke to a gentleman (I didn’t catch his name, but he had a Scottish accent), who said he would contact DPD to look into the issue.

I called back around an hour and a half later, as I was becoming increasingly concerned that I wouldn’t have the stock I needed for my event the following day (Wednesday). He said he would call me back once he had an update.

He did call me back and explained that he had been unable to resolve the issue with DPD, but that he would arrange for a replacement to be sent out. I explained the situation clearly — that I needed the stock for an event at 4pm the following day — and he assured me that he would send it out via DPD for an ASAP delivery, guaranteed before 1pm the next day.

I specifically asked if this delivery time was guaranteed, and I was assured that it was. With no stock available from my local cash and carry, I had no choice but to rely on this promise.

Unfortunately, the stock did not arrive before 1pm on Wednesday. In fact, it did not arrive on wednesday at all. It arrived late afternoon on the Thursday.

This was extremely disappointing, as it resulted in me losing a booking and letting down a couple who had hired my services.

I would have given a one-star review based on the overall experience, but I have given two stars because the gentleman I spoke to was polite, even though the delivery promise was not fulfilled. I did eventually receive the stock, but unfortunately it arrived too late to be of any use.

Amazing service, staff very helpful, every time I called the office my questions always answered promptly, and they were polite, professional and a great help.
