Éviter l’agence Nice Tours et le bateau de croisière Prince du Nile
Je ne peux qualifier ma croisière sur le Nil que de malheureusement mauvaise. L’agence Nice Tours a fait preuve d’un manque total d’honnêteté dès le début. J’avais réservé une croisière de luxe, mais on nous a attribué une croisière standard qui, honnêtement, n’atteint même pas ce niveau : je la décrirais comme médiocre.
Après plusieurs tentatives de contact par WhatsApp et téléphone — auxquelles ils ont fini par ne plus répondre — ils insistaient sur le fait que nous étions bien sur une croisière de luxe. J’avais déjà lu des avis similaires sur des plateformes comme GetYourGuide ou Trustpilot concernant ce type de pratiques, mais je n’y avais pas prêté trop d’attention à l’époque. Je comprends maintenant qu’il est important de prévenir les autres voyageurs pour qu’ils ne tombent pas dans le même piège.
Le bateau sur lequel nous avons séjourné, « Prince Du Nile », est dans un état que je qualifierais de totalement délabré. Les cabines sont anciennes, malodorantes, avec un mobilier complètement usé.
Après avoir insisté dans mes réclamations et menacé de signaler la situation, on nous a proposé une suite qui, bien que rien d’exceptionnel, était meilleure que la cabine standard initiale. Ils ont également essayé de nous calmer en nous offrant un gâteau pour que nous arrêtions de nous plaindre.
La piscine du bateau est très petite, avec peu d’eau et sale.
Je tiens également à souligner l’attitude du responsable de la réception du bateau, qui a été totalement peu professionnelle. Avec un sourire apparemment aimable mais trompeur, il m’a facturé deux fois un montant excessif. Je lui ai demandé de recharger ma carte SIM avec des données à deux reprises : le coût réel était de 150 livres égyptiennes à chaque fois, mais il m’a indiqué 300. Je ne m’en suis rendu compte qu’à la fin, lorsque j’ai demandé la traduction d’un SMS en arabe. De plus, naïvement, je lui ai laissé un pourboire à chaque fois.
Pour conclure : si vous envisagez de payer un supplément pour une catégorie supérieure, ne le faites pas. Il existe un risque qu’on vous attribue malgré tout un bateau de très basse qualité. Je recommande tout particulièrement d’éviter le « Prince Du Nile », qui se trouve dans un état de dégradation considérable.

Service client inexistant, aucune solution proposée, aucune alternative. GetYourGuide continue pourtant de travailler avec ce type de prestataires… incompréhensible.

Pas sérieux du tout
Ils ont osé décaler ma réservation pour les pyramides à plusieurs reprises sous prétexte qu'il n'y avait "plus de places disponibles", alors que j'ai bloqué et payé ma réservation il y a plusieurs mois ! L'excursion était initialement prévue pour le jeudi 2 avril. La veille (mercredi 1er) à 19h, je reçois un message de dernière minute pour annuler et reporter au samedi 4 avril. À ce moment-là, l'agence s'engage et me garantit à 100 % et par écrit que tout est parfaitement organisé et bouclé (billets d'avion, excursion, repas) et que je n'ai plus la moindre inquiétude à avoir.
Et là, le coup de grâce : ce vendredi 3 avril à 13h15, je reçois un énième mail m'annonçant une nouvelle annulation de l'excursion... toujours pour la même excuse bidon de "manque de places" !
C'est du fou... de G... monumental et un amateurisme honteux de leur part. C'est une agence à fuir de toute urgence ! Ne perdez ni votre temps, ni votre énergie, ni votre argent avec eux.

First of all, the guide who was presented as an Egyptologist was extremely difficult to understand. He spoke unclearly, mumbled, and rushed through his explanations. It was not just us; the entire group struggled to follow what he was saying. At most stops, the explanations were very brief, after which we were given long periods of free time. This made the tour feel unguided, which is not what we paid for.
Secondly, the itinerary was not properly followed. Upon arrival, we did not stop at the company’s café as stated, but went straight to Karnak Temple. We were then taken to additional stops such as a perfume shop and a vase-making shop, which were not mentioned in the description.
Most importantly, a key highlight the Colossi of Memnon was not included as an actual stop. Although we appear to have driven past it, the guide did not stop or even point it out. I only noticed it myself by chance while looking out of the window. This is unacceptable, as it is clearly listed as part of the itinerary.
Overall, while the sites themselves are impressive, the quality of the guide and the failure to follow the itinerary made this experience far below expectations. A tour like this depends heavily on clear, informative guidance and a properly executed program both of which were lacking.

Unsere Tagestour am 16.02.2026 zu den Tempeln Edfu, Kom Ombo und Abu Simbel mit Nice Tours war eine absolute Katastrophe und an Inkompetenz kaum zu überbieten.
Als wir am Tempel in Edfu ankamen, erklärte uns der Guide ernsthaft, dass wir erstmal warten müssten, weil er das Geld von der Buchhaltung noch nicht bekommen habe, um die Tickets für Edfu und Kom Ombo zu kaufen. Seine Begründung? Der Buchhalter würde gerade schlafen und sei nicht erreichbar. Das Schlimmste daran: Der Guide wusste offenbar schon lange im Voraus, dass er die Tickets nicht hatte, und hat trotzdem nichts unternommen, damit wir die Tour wie gebucht durchführen können. So etwas Unprofessionelles haben wir noch nie erlebt.
Noch besser wurde es, als der Guide meinte, Abu Simbel würde zeitlich wahrscheinlich ausfallen. Auf unsere Nachfrage hin bestätigte er jedoch, dass er für Abu Simbel bereits Tickets habe. Also haben wir uns entschieden, wenigstens Abu Simbel zu machen und die anderen beiden Tempel ausfallen zu lassen – in der Annahme, dass wir für die nicht erbrachte Leistung selbstverständlich eine angemessene Erstattung bekommen würden.
Am nächsten Tag haben wir den Vorfall gemeldet. Die Reaktion? Eine lächerliche Teilerstattung von 41,91 € bei einem Gesamtpreis von 358,76 €. Das ist nicht nur enttäuschend, das ist schlichtweg Abzocke. Man fühlt sich einfach komplett verarscht.
Finger weg von diesem Laden. Absolut unprofessionell, schlecht organisiert und offensichtlich nicht in der Lage, eine gebuchte und bezahlte Leistung ordnungsgemäß durchzuführen. Nie wieder.
Fraud, False Advertising, Discrimination, and Safety Negligence — AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I am writing this review to warn other travelers. Nice Tours is a fraudulent company and everything I write here is backed by evidence including photos, WhatsApp records, and receipts.
I booked a 5-star Nile cruise through GetYourGuide. What was actually provided was a small private boat with no pool, no bathtub, and cramped rooms — nothing like the photos on the listing. I was given zero notice of the vessel change before boarding. This was deliberate concealment, not an upgrade.
The hygiene on board was appalling — I was bitten by mosquitoes every single night. Worse, myself (Japanese) and a group of Chinese passengers were assigned visibly inferior cabins compared to Western guests on the same tour. Same price, completely different treatment. This was blatant racial discrimination.
On the return from Abu Simbel, the bus air conditioning was completely broken in 40°C desert heat. I nearly suffered heat stroke. Nice Tours’ response was to hand out a single bottle of water. No apology, no medical support, nothing. This is life-threatening negligence.
On top of all this: my Cairo arrival was changed from Thursday evening to Friday morning without notice; the promised Khan el-Khalili visit was replaced with overpriced tourist trap shops; I paid for my own hotel one night yet Nice Tours falsely claims all accommodations were covered; and daily schedules were only shared the night before, every single day.
When I requested a refund, Nice Tours responded with nothing but false claims and deflection. GetYourGuide ultimately had to intervene and issue a partial refund on their behalf.
This company is systematically dishonest. Do not book with Nice Tours under any circumstances.

Telefonischer Kontakt war nicht möglich, nur via WhatsApp - Sprachnachrichhten. Wie professionell ist das denn bei einer Eskalation?
Zuvor wurde der Abholzeitpunkt mehrfach verschoben und meine Bestätigungen ignoriert.
Dann erfolgte die Abholung eine Stunde zu spät und vor dem Museum dann noch über eine Stunde endlose Versuche, Nice Tour zur Klärung mit GetYourGuide zu bewegen. GetYourGuide hat offensichtlich Nice Tours auch nicht erreichen können.
Wir haben die Tour dann abgebrochen, bevor sie tatsächlich begonnen hat.
Eine Vollkatastrophe - wer eine schlechte Urlaubserinnerung miterleben möchte, dann sind Sie bei Nice Tours an der richtigen Adresse…

We got a restitution of only €67.63 which seems very low. Considering the fact that the cheapest balloonflight offered online in Luxor is € 55 p.p.
I don't find this is a fair ammount. It is in no way mentioned clearly in your advertisements that half of these balloonflights are cancelled last minute. It was a ridiculous unprofessional and badly communicated situation that morning. The main reason we booked this trip was because of the balloonflight.
The restaurant they took us for to lunch was that bad that we paid for dinner ourselves that evening, which was supposed to be included. But they already said they would take us to the same restaurant in the evening. The add up of the costs of this trip didn't make sense to us at all. We are put in a hotel (2 single beds as a couple?) which on booking.com costs € 110 a night. We paid € 500 euros, for what exactly? For a really mediocre lunch twice, a guide for a couple of hours and the drive to Luxor? We know what the people earn over here and that still doesn't add up in no way.
We are far from pleased and this refund just feels like you guys are taking the piss. This is really bad customer service. And at our last lunch we actually heard multiple people around us complain about their trip from Nice Tours as well. They take you to lunch and dinner places which are superrr touristy and you pay 3 euros for a soda and 8 euros for a glass of wine which is ridiculous for Egypt.
Please do not book an Egypt tour With Nice Tours
Please do not book an Egypt tour through Viator if the local operator is Nice Tours. Nice Tours is unreliable, and in our case, they canceled the tour just a few days before departure. Viator claims that Nice Tours is a highly rated operator, but this was not true in our experience. They should be renamed as 'Terrible Tours'.
We trusted other reviews and booked through Viator, only to have the trip canceled at the last moment. While Viator did refund our payment, this does not compensate for the stress, disruption, and loss of alternative travel options—especially when traveling during peak season.
I question why Viator continues to host and promote Nice Tours on its platform. Viator should take greater responsibility for vetting and monitoring the tour operators it promotes, rather than enabling unreliable companies that negatively impact travelers.

L’organisation était catastrophique. On a mis 8h30 de route au lieu de 6h. La nuit on as eux froid, pas de chauffage pendant la journée il fessais très chaud dans le bus, malgré plusieurs demandes le chauffeur n'as jamais mis la clim.
En arrivant le guide Hesham a eu 20 minutes de retard, on a dû l’attendre. Toute la journée il a mis la pression à notre guide francophone . Du coup, on a pas fait tout le programme de prévu. À midi, on a attendu Hesham qui a fait prière dans la rue et ensuite il est partie avec deux femmes du groupe dans une boutique de parfum pendant 20 minutes. Il a été très désagréable, il ne répondait plus aux questions du groupe des français parce qu’on était pas content de l’attendre pendant la boutique de parfum alors que nous ils nous a gâché la visite des pyramides. Le musée, on l’a fait en toute vitesse, on en a pas vu les trois quarts et on a fait même pas 15 minutes de bateau au lieu des 30 minutes prévues. c’est inadmissible. En plus nous avons payé le guide en cash à un mec qui à récupéré l’argent et qui est resté dormir toute la journée à l’arrière du minibus. On a payé 86€ alors que certains de notre groupe de français n’a rien payé et un autre a payé juste 30€. Alors que nous avons comparé et nous avons tous sélectionné guide français donc ce n’est pas normal. Le guide francophone parle pas bien le français. Il comprenais pas nous questions, il fallait répéter. Il répondais à côté. Il finissez pas ses phrases. Il manque des mots dans ses phrases. Pas de histoire sur les pyramides. On as rien compris d son charabia. vrais arnaque du vol

Guide français payant en supplément, niveau de français très faible.
Guide anglophone nommé Hicham, très désagréable, attitude non professionnelle — devrait clairement changer de métier.

Drivers made many unnecessary stops, even though we just wanted to go back.
Because of these delays, one of the three pyramids included in the program was not visited at all.
The bus was uncomfortable: no air conditioning when it was hot, no heating when it was cold, and no water, even though it was supposed to be included.
French-speaking guide was extra charge and had a very poor level of French.
English-speaking guide named Hicham was very unpleasant, unprofessional, and honestly should change jobs.

A Nile cruise that never happened
Booked a Nile cruise incl. excursions through GetYourGuide.
The tour operator failed to book a cabin for me on a ship. For the first half-day excursion, I had to contact GYG support to get pickup details, as the operator sent no information and did not respond to any messages. The guide also had no idea at which ship I was supposed to be dropped off after the excursion, and neither of us could reach the operator.
Eventually, the operator contacted and instructed the driver to drop me at a restaurant on the outskirts of Aswan to wait for embarkation. However, the restaurant had no information about this arrangement, so lunch was not included as promised. The operator remained unreachable, even for GYG support, and I never received any details about my ship.
I was forced to book alternative accommodation. Despite this fraudulent bahaviour, GYG refused to issue a full refund, claiming I had received a (rushed) 2-hour Philae temple tour that effectively cost me €170. I strongly recommend avoiding both this operator and GYG.

Mia prenotazione: Crociera da Aswan a Luxor, 4 notti 5 giorni con giro in mongolfiera.
Il punteggio medio delle recensioni su tripadvisor, google e get your guide non rispecchia assolutamente quello che ho vissuto io e altri clienti che ho conosciuto durante il mio viaggio.
La verità è che Nice Tours è un'azienda senza alcuna organizzazione e senza alcun riguardo per i clienti. Io e tanti altri tursti piazzati da Nice Tours sulla stessa crociera abbiamo vissuto esperienze ridicole e stressanti.
Con comunicazioni in ritardo, abbiamo più volte aspettato fino alla sera prima per scoprire se e quando ci sarebbero state le attività programmate per il giorno dopo.
Le guide per le visite ai templi non parlano un buon inglese. Il coordinatore delle attività che ci è stato affidato e che ci ha seguiti sulla nave era perennemente spaesato e confuso.
Un'attività (giro con felucca) l'ho persa perchè non si è presentato nessuno a prelevarci, per altre ci siamo svegliati molto presto (in media 4 am) per poi partire in ritardo per problemi causati o da Nice Tours o dalle loro guide.
Ma il peggio nel mio caso è stato nella prenotazione della crociera. Avevo prenotato tramite Get Your Guide una crociera sul Nilo da Assuan a Luxor di 4 notti e 5 giorni, pagata e confermata.
Arrivato sulla nave per il check-in, scopro che Nice Tours ha prenotato solo per 3 notti e non 4, e che l'ultimo giorno la nave non avrebbe potuto farmi alloggiare lì in nessun caso perchè quella nave nello specifico fa solo viaggi di di 3 notti/4 giorni. Contattato Nice Tours per ricevere spiegazioni su come abbiano potuto sbagliare a prenotare 3 notti invece che 4, e per sapere dunque dove sarei stato la quarta notte (che avevo pagato caro come ogni notte sulla nave).
La risposta che ricevo è che va tutto bene, che è stata una scelta fatta per darmi la migliore esperienza possibile e che mi avrebbero trovato un hotel per l'ultima notte.
In pratica mi stavano fornendo una cosa diversa da quella che avevo comprato!
Per giorni ho insistentemente chiesto dove quindi avessero prenotato per l'ultima notte, senza risposta. Non ho avuto alcuna informazione su dove mi avrebbero fatto alloggiare la mia ultima notte, fino al giorno prima nel tardo pomeriggio.
Questo, oltre a me, è successo anche ad una famiglia con bambini sulla mia stessa nave, facendo vivere a tutti noi un'esperienza stressante.
Alla fine, la compagnia della nave ha accettato di tenerci una notte in più, sistemando le cose sia a Nice Tours e a noi.
Altri dettagli per far capire il livello di organizzazione:
L'orario del prelievo per la visita ad Abu Simbel non ci è mai stato dato, nonostante tanti messaggi su whatsapp per richiederlo, al punto che ormai credevo non saremmo andati. Così andiamo a dormire, per poi venire svegliati alle 2:45 dalla reception della nave, che ci dice che in 20 minuti saremmo dovuti partire perchè la guida era arrivata per noi.
Il giro in mongolfiera all'alba non è stato all'alba, perchè prima Nice Tours ha mandato ad alcuni l'orario sbagliato, facendoli preparare 40 minuti in ritardo. Poi, una volta partiti, la guida senza spiegarne il motivo ci ha fatto ritornare indietro perdendo altri 20 minuti.
Io e mia moglie siamo comunque riusciti a completare quasi tutte le attività che erano previste nel nostro programma, a tanti altri non è andata così.
Non consiglierei Nice Tours a nessuno che cerchi un tour ben organizzato e comunicazioni affidabili.
Esperienza da incubo
Nice Tours ha trasformato una vacanza da sogno in un incubo. Organizzazione inesistente fin dall’inizio: comunicazioni tardive, informazioni sbagliate e zero professionalità, nonostante il pagamento completo anticipato.
Alle Piramidi di Giza la guida ha tentato di farci pagare 500 EGP per un biglietto non necessario, inventando scuse. Solo insistendo abbiamo evitato una vera e propria truffa, proteggendo anche il resto del gruppo. Da quel momento siamo stati isolati, mandati a pranzo da soli e diffamati con gli altri partecipanti.
Le “scuse” di Nice Tours sono state ridicole: promesso un upgrade a una crociera di lusso che non era affatto di lusso.
Il caos totale il terzo giorno: sveglia alle 4:00 per la mongolfiera, pick-up con oltre un’ora di ritardo e nomi nemmeno registrati. Risultato: tour iniziato tardissimo, Valle dei Re incompleta e Tempio di Hatshepsut saltato. Ore buttate ad aspettare sulla nave.
Ritardi continui, visite di corsa, assistenza irreperibile.

Avoid this operator at all cost. We booked multiple tours with the operate, but after the third attempt, we cancelled all our further bookings with them.
Booking with Nice Tours was a consistently frustrating experience marked by poor organization, hidden costs, and a complete lack of professionalism. While some individual elements—such as certain guides or vehicles—were occasionally acceptable, they were repeatedly overshadowed by the operator’s conduct.
Extra fees were a recurring issue, often introduced after booking and sometimes only once cancellation was no longer possible. What was advertised as guided tours frequently amounted to little more than basic transportation with minimal explanation, offering extremely poor value for money. Communication was disorganized and unreliable, leading to delays, confusion, and unnecessary stress during the trip itself. Our transportation from Aswan to Luxor was an almost broken car with no air conditioning or any other amenities. The car couldn't go more than 50km/h which is why the transfer took double the time than expected.
Instead of providing a smooth, carefree holiday experience, Nice Tours added complications at nearly every stage—from booking to pickup to execution. Transparency and customer trust are clearly not priorities here. I strongly recommend avoiding this operator and choosing a more reliable, upfront, and professionally run alternative.
Tagestour nach Kairo kurzfristig abgesagt
Ich habe 2. Januar über GetYourGuide eine Tagestour mit dem Bus von Hurghada nach Kairo gebucht. 15 Minuten vor der Abfahrt wurde die Tour abgesagt - es gab angeblich Probleme mit dem Kleinbus und einen Ersatzbus gab es nicht. Dies ist unprofessionell. Zum Glück habe ich das Geld für die Tour von GetYourGuide zurückerhalten.

Questo mi porta a interrogarmi sulle condizioni di lavoro delle persone coinvolte in questo tour. In ordine: la guida è arrivata con un’ora di ritardo; ha tentato di modificare l’itinerario rispetto a quanto concordato e già pagato; siamo stati costretti a pagare nuovamente il biglietto d’ingresso, nonostante fosse incluso nella prenotazione. Siamo tuttora in attesa del rimborso da parte di Nice Tour, che ha smesso di rispondere ai nostri messaggi su WhatsApp. Inoltre, la guida ci ha proposto un rimborso immediato in cambio di una recensione con 5 stelle su GetYourGuide; al nostro rifiuto, ci ha lasciati letteralmente a piedi, nonostante il tour prevedesse il rientro in hotel.
Risultato: visita frettolosa alla Valle dei Re, clima teso, guida aggressiva seppur preparata e competente (motivo per cui ipotizzo un possibile burnout) e, come nota finale, rientro a piedi di circa 40 minuti.
