I have bought a few coverless duvets from this company and they have all shed copious amounts of filling blocking up my washing machine and covering my bed in fluff I am very disappointed and will now have to replace these at a great cost as they weren't cheap not to mention the washing machine which may have to be replaced do not buy these duvets I have complained to the company who just replace them with the same
The shedding takes place on the first wash and continues throughout

the comfoter are made well they have a good weight to them and it's very soft!

I have just discovered Coverless duvets from Night Lark and they really are a game changer. My main reason for taking the trouble to leave a review is to comment on their quite exceptional customer service. I had received my duvet, washed it and put in the dryer before using it for the first time and unfortunately the cover puckered up and the filling melted in parts. I contacted them and was offered a refund or replacement, the replacement came within 24hrs. Thank you Anna for your outstanding customer service, credit to the company. Duvets are all fantastic, have 10.5 tog double and also summer weight. Easily fit in my 9kg washing machine and dry quickly just hanging on an airer, I’m not going to risk tumble drying again though.

Firstly I absolutely loved it. After the first wash its faded due to being to big for a home washing machine.

I’ve previously (in 2020) been very pleased with purchases of the Night Owl duvet, and my mother was also happy with them before 2020, so earlier this year I thought I’d buy another one. However the quality has deteriorated an enormous amount. The duvet sheds its filling all over the rest of my bedding - and this is a new duvet, intact and not even washed yet. I’ve given up using it and won’t be buying any other coverless duvets from this company. Very disappointed.

I run a B&B so coverless duvets have been a bit of a life changer. I have in the 6 years of running the business had to purchase around 8 of the Night Lark duvets for my two guest bedrooms. I am just in the business of replacing another... I obviously wash them a lot and the fabric and stitching does not last. They rip easily and some of tog ratings are a little unreliable. I have one which my 7kg drum washing machine cannot spin so I end up draining in the bath or hanging out wet which means I get wet in the process! On the plus side they are hygeinic and do dry very well. If spun in the machine they dry within hours in the house, even in the summer when the heating is not on.
Many of my guests comment on how comfy they are (they are as I use one) and how useful they are given you can wash them. I could have sold hundreds by now and commended the brand. I contacted the company to ask for a discount code as I promote them heavily and got nothing back! I am now with regret moving brand to try another provider and see how resilient their products are.

I have now bought 4 Night Lark duvets from various sources and really like them all. My dogs absolutely love lying on them and, when we can shift the dogs, we find them warm and comfortable. They are durable- again, the dogs test this. I really enjoy not wresting with king sized duvet covers any more.

Night Lark are worth every penny! The quality is fantastic and the delivery service via DPD was also fantastic. The delivery was super fast and they email you every point from ordering to deliver day.

I purchased the 4.5 tog summer coverless king duvets x2 and they look classy, feel soft and lightweight. They finish my rooms with class and they are machine washable.

They come in classy laundry bags and incl x2 per duvet pillow cases! How great is that!

I would rate Night Lark 5*. They offered a first time discount which was super decent and I will definitely go back to NL for any further bedding.

I have bought 3 of these quilts, 2 x 10.5 and 1 x 4.5 tog. They are certainly very labour-saving and of good quality.

However, I noticed that there is a marked difference between the 2 heavier quilts. One is definitely thinner and lighter than the other - I checked the labels and both are 10.5 tog. I am very disappointed and was thinking of buying more for family members but I don't feel I can do that now.

I’m surprised at the number of poor reviews on here. Having bought my first duvet in 2022, decided to buy another in 2024 for the odd occasion that my first wasn’t properly dry - although they do indeed dry very quickly.

Living alone I do have a double bed but decided to go for a single duvet in case of any problems overloading my washing machine. (Read recently that it’s hard to get double or larger duvets in Scandinavian countries as they prefer singles each which actually makes a lot of sense for those ‘cover hoggers’).

Anyway, after all this time I wanted to sing the praises of both my 10.5 tog ones as they’re perfect for me both summer and winter. Have had no problems with bursting or flattening as mentioned by other reviewers and love the silky smooth feeling of them. Always detested putting on duvet covers and am now relieved of that chore.

We have two 10.4 coverless duvets. Whilst we are very happy with the products washing them is such an issue. The advice is that a normal domestic washing machine can be used. Great selling point but the reality is that the machine is too small, we have a 9kg drum. We therefore have to use a commercial laundry which is expensive to wash and dry the duvets. We love the bedding but the cost of keeping them washed and tumble dried is eye watering.

These beautiful quilts are fabulous……until you wash them. I have three and another from a year ago which I’ve washed many times….both with laundry tabs and with silk and wool hand wash only. Nothing works! The quality when they arrive is gorgeous, but washing them leaves them flat and the dressing on the seersucker that made it so luxurious goes away. What a shame..I wonder if anyone has a solution, as I want to keep them all.

I was so excited when my duvets arrived. I have RA and my daughter was having to help me change my bed because of the duvet cover. This would help me to be more independent.

I chose not to buy the cheapest, hoping that the quality would be better and Night lark were being promoted by Amazon as having good eco sustainability standards.

The blurb said they washed in most 7kg washers mine didn’t spin it. The duvet came out soaking wet. So I bit the bullet and bought a new washer. The creases in it are horrendous! You can’t iron it. Also one of them has torn twice at the seam. One which I’ve repaired and one that I’ve just discovered. I’ve paid £120 for two duvets that look like ripped rags. I have pictures but I can’t see how to upload them.

My duvet arrived yesterday. It is very light and looks great, but this definetly is not a winter duvet!
10.5 is not enough to keep you warm.
I am very dissapointed but of course its not possible to return once you have tried it. So think twice before buying one!!! They are summer quilts only.

I love the feel of this duvet and that I don't need to grapple with duvet covers. However, in only a few weeks it has become very bobbled with little tufts of the filling coming out. I am very disappointed because I had the previous version and it didn't do the same. It has even bobbled on the underside of the cover.
I wouldn't recommend it based on that because it looks unsightly and unkempt.

** EDIT: FBC contacted me and asked for some information. They have sent me a replacement. I am happy with that and hope the replacement is better. As a result and due to the prompt attention by FBC I have upped my review to 3 stars.

Bedding is wonderful.
Customer Service should be better.
I ordered full price items as a new customer with a 20% off coupon.
The coupon was not applied.
First email reply stated coupon usually offered for 15% so I emailed a copy of the website page.
Second email reply stated coupon only applied to full price items, which they were.

Now I am told my order number is NOT valid even though I have the email for order confirmation and delivery tracking!

I love It. very comfortable, Warm, and lightweight, washes and drys quick and easy. Now that I've used it, wash and dried it, it is well worth the price. I will buy another one shortly.

The fabric is light weight but still warm and cozy.

If you are buying the Night Lark / Night Owl for a few days use it is fine.

It does not last - the material starts tearing and the stitching starts coming off only after a few months use.

Escalated with Fine Bedding - just said they will investigate for internal purposes but they were not at all surprised at the question of quality.
One to avoid as you can invest in a high quality normal duvet for this price.

Just like to say “wow” I got the limited edition print 10.5 tog and thought it very light but sleeping in it was amazing , warm and felt like air , it really is lovely and worth the money
