Absolute rubbish! I bought the “indestructible watch”! Ha! It lasted 1 week and died. Absolute rubbish. I emailed them for a replacement or refund. No reply.
Stay away!

This is a complete scam. If I could give a negative number I would. Have waited 3 weeks and no response. Waist of money. Wish I had seen this first before sending off money. As someone said “lesson learned “

This company is a scam. Took USD50 from me for a purchase. Over three weeks later, complete silence. No response to multiple emails and just tried the phone number on their site - it's a dud. If you don't believe me then just call their phone number before buying to check they're genuine.

This company is a scam. I purchased their air pump, and shortly after realized that the same exact pump is being sold at Amazon for half the price. I reached out to their support team and I was advised to send the shipment back so they can process the return. I had to pay for the label, but Njord never accepted the package and it got sent back to me. After emailing them more than 5x they stopped responding. If I could give zero stars I would.

After almost 4 weeks waiting I have not received my air pump. I have sent three emails using two of the company emails and no reply. I am concerned if the company is still operating or someone has hacked into their system. Crossing my fingers my parcel will eventually arrive !!! I have purchased from them before and not had any trouble.

I will give the so called universal kayak seat away to someone who can use it. Not satisfied with this experience. Again not a universal fit and not as robust in the cushioning as I would hope. In hind sight I should have done research and purchased a seat from a business located in the US. Slick website and unusable warranty. Can't return in USA; I'm not paying the cost of shipping to Canada and waste my time trying to recoup some of the cost. I also noted after the fact that the same seat is 40.00 cheaper on Amazon. Lesson learned. I see I can't leave a negative review on their site, but I will not do business with your company again and will not recommend to friends and family. Buyer beware!

I found the site via an Instagram advert for the mini air pump, which is represented in a way that to me suggested it was a product developed by the company. On ordering, the shipping times seemed to indicate global shipping from China, though the communication alluded to the pandemic as reason for extended shipping times. The price seemed to me slightly more than I would expect for such a product that is made in China.

My disappointment occurred when I received the product, because I felt I had been misled (but at least I did receive the product). It came in a plastic tray that looked as though it would have been in a box, and the pump had the brand name ‘Flextailgear’ printed on the side. My intuition told me that this detail was intentionally left out of the product photos. There was a link to instructions via the Njord Outdoors website which fail to list all of the included parts correctly. I imagine that the original packaging and instructions could have been stripped before sending the product. The company then sends discount codes to encourage additional purchases of the same item, for 20 percent off; at this time it gave me a sense how much I had overpaid (which was actually more).

Searching for the revealed brand name confirmed this to be the case, I could have bought the same item and received within a couple days from Amazon for £26, whereas ordering from Njord Outdoors took a week and cost £42, a 62 percent increase in price. It seems this is the MO for the company, make the items seem boutique, hide the brand, market well, and profit via misrepresentation (or at least exclusion).

The air pump itself seems like a great product. I would have rather given the extra money to the company that developed the product instead of the one that masqueraded the product.

Scam! Stay away. Never received my order and customer service simply does not respond. Money lost.

Simply a drop-shipping operation. You get a cheap pump from China with the manufacturer's logo on it, so you're basically paying over the top for a cheap product you cold get off Amazon and the like.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently purchased the tiny air pump for $50 from Njord Outdoors Co. I have no issue with the pump itself. However, immediately I found that the same pump was on the manufacturers website for 1/2 the price and also on Amazon for almost 1/2 the price with free shipping. I have emailed the Njord Outdoors 3 times and called their phone line and have never been able to talk with a representative nor have they ever responded to my email. Zero customer service. I am disappointed and will never order from them.

Greatest little AirPump i ever had the pleasure of using for my winter camping.

Blowing up my mattress in the cold really hurts my lungs so this is a true lifesaver!

Fast delivery & great customer service

Not a Canadian cottage company. Ordered the mini pump thinking it was there own brand pump made by them. Turned out to be a Chinese made one (flextailgear) which i could of got cheaper ordering direct off eBay. Customer support didn't respond, I would avoid personally .

This company is amazing!!

I ordered a camping stove- the delivery was fast, the customer support team was very helpful and kept me up to date on my order.

Like the other commenter, I would also give this 0 stars if I could. Shipping took over 3 weeks, package arrived soggy and reeking of a strong chemical smell that permeated throughout the package. To add insult to injury, the labels on the air pump were from a different company (flextailgear) and the exact same item can be found for a fraction of the cost on Amazon with two day shipping. Njord Outdoors does a great job with their social media marketing and curating 5 star reviews to make their products seem high quality and handmade. Buyer beware, this company is just drop shipping items and marketing them well. Save your money and your stress! Let’s see if they hold true to their “120 day money back guarantee” on their site, will update this review if they make this right and refund me.

There is no place on their site to leave a review, meanwhile you see hundreds of 5 star reviews. Specifically for the flextailgear mini air pump, go to Amazon and look it up, you will see word for word reviews under different names/dates with the potentially negative or outright negative sentences removed and posted as a “verified review” on the Njord Outdoors site. Beyond shameful, completely misrepresenting themselves and what they’re selling.

Update: after previously giving me prompt responses to shipping update questions, Njord has ghosted me. They’ve ignored emails and calls, so much for their 24/7 customer service… will be disputing charge with card
