Trying to raise a problem under the warranty with a Remington Head Shaver. I found it impossible to register a fault as the form requires a photo which says it’s in the wrong format or an unacceptable file type even if I use the option to take a photo via the Remington form. So stuck with a product that’s stopped working without any redress.
Nieuwe Remington föhn waar aan-uitschuif niet functioneert (geen beweging in te krijgen). No service at all!!!
Na mail aan Remington met alle gegevens, krijg je geautomatiseerde mail om weer alles in te vullen en geautomatiseerd antwoord dat je naar de leverancier moet (derde via Bol.com??). Wat een waardeloos bedrijf om zo met een klacht van een nieuw apparaat om te gaan. Nooit meer Remington!!

Wat een prettige service! De stijltang van mijn vrouw ging relatief snel stuk door kortsluiting. Even schrikken.. Maar na contact wordt niet alleen gevraagd hoe het met je gaat, maar ook wat er mankeert aan het product, foto's etc. En wilden ze hem graag onderzoeken (TOP!). Dat laat zien dat je klanten en kwaliteit belangrijk vindt! Ook kregen we, uiteraard, onder garantie, een nieuwe. Maar de service was echt uitmuntend, reden om de moeite te nemen een review te schrijven. Met een Remington product doe je geen miskoop, want er is service waar je op kunt rekenen! Alle producten die wij van hun hebben bevallen prima. Daar komt de service nu dus bij! Goede klant ervaring dus, dank Remington!
What a useless shaver the Remington RX7 is. I bought one from Argos and within 4 months it stopped working. Gave the blade head a good clean still no good.
Changed at Argos for another and now that one has stopped working for exact same problem.
Sent proof of purchase and photos to Remington UK they said "Once received, the product will be analysed for any malfunctions by our technicians and, if possible, repaired. Please note that this process can take up to 4 weeks"
Hello its a head shaver so now I cant shave my head for 4 weeks! They are forcing you to buy another head shaver.
Oh Remington you are useless and I am steering clear of your razors and advise others to too.
Bought a 'Remington F1 Style' yesterday and have already lost my temper with it.
First, they have skimped on providing a plug and there is just a USB,-- meaning you have to borrow the USB plug from your phone, at inconvenient times. Or, charge your razor by connecting it to your laptop for a couple of hours !
Second, the instructions contradict themselves. A brush is included in the box, but they say 'do not clean the trimmer with a brush'
So, instead of using the brush we are meant to rinse the trimmer every morning when rushing for work -- with water. But what about drying it ? If it is still damp the next day won't tomorrow's shaved hairs clog it?
And of course, while washing the trimmer please remember the thing isn't waterproof.
Too much scut, first thing in the morning.
PS. All that said, the razor itself does give an excellent, close shave.
Bought a Remington shine therapy hairdryer, used approximately 20 times. Product was clean and in immaculate condition. The fan seized and element burning hot. Remington did not even read my explanation, got an email asking for fault, videos and photos of product if under 12 months. I sent a copy of receipt showing it was purchased in August 2024. Instruction told me to change fuse, if the fuse wasn’t working the element would not be burning would it? Very annoyed with the email, it shows that the person receiving the claim has not even bothered to read it. It is the worst hairdryer I have ever owned and will not ever purchase anything from Remington again
My daughter purchased an X5 limitless Rotary Shaver, model XR1750 for my birthday. I used it 2 days after my birthday 25/11/2024 and I felt like I was being threaded to death. It was by far one of the worst shaves I have ever had. When I decided to stop under my jaw was red raw. I took a photo and sent it to my daughter and she was shocked. Avoid this product at all cost. Note : my hair growth was only 2 days worth.
I have a haircutter which did not really cut well. Even though it was bought in 2018 and the problem existed since quite some time, I only now complained about it.
Remington was really fair and will send me a new haircutter. I dont think that there are enterprises that would act in this fair way nowadays. Eva K.
