SMELL THE MONEY 💰

This has become a local success story and the promoter seems to have realised that he was irritating some regular customers by broadcasting his personal benefits from that success.
He is to be commended for the financial support he gives to local good causes.
Be in no doubt that this is a genuine, transparent honestly run competition site.
That being said I think that there are two issues that I think are potentially working against it's continuing success:-
It is spreading away from the local area and the maximum number of entries is set too high so that some entrants use almost brute force to scoop up the big prizes.
I won't name names, but one ex-footballer from Stoke with a gambling habit was at one time clearing out a high proportion of the big prizes - he appears to have moved on.
Another more local player has taken over and regularly cleans out a huge chunk of the bigger cash prizes.
This makes entering less attractive when nearly all of the big prizes are gone early in each competition - perhaps there should be a limit to the number of big prizes that can be won by an individual in any one competition.Buying a huge number of entries is not what most people can afford to do and it demonstrably does improve the likelihood of scooping up the £1000+ prizes. The same person continually scooping the pot in competitions does create the illusion hat something is unfair. I am 100% certain that there is nothing amiss going on and that every ticket really does have an equal chance of winning but Joe Bloggs can't compete with the huge bulk purchases
Nevertheless, this I know that this is an honestly run and transparent site and a credit to the chap who has worked hard to make it the success that it is.

Apparently the instant flips are not real, so pointless entering the competitions, seems to be a lot of same winners on instant wins which is very suspect.
Was told on their Facebook page they don't use email even though it is displayed on their website page, will be investigating further and passing it on to the gaming commission

Always buy tickets off northern competitions, easy website to use, cheap, and lots of different competitions always available. Also northern competitions do a lot for the community to.

Love playing but would nice if i could have a win soon.

A family member of mine has currently been waiting over a week for an instant win pay out. When he messaged to query it and provide details they replied saying that he's now been moved to the back of the queue and will have to wait longer. Northern has since put more posts on saying people will be paid out instantly and promoting new competitions, putting up sponsored posts, which we have commented on to try and address this issue and seemingly been ignored further. Been over a week and no further to receiving the payout, happy that others get their money, but waiting this long seems to take away from the fact that they have won, it's starting to feel like a massive task to try and get the funds paid out. As someone who does use the site regularly when able, it makes them think about moving to other sites who pay out quicker and don't rub it in your face that others can be paid out after your win but you're still waiting... Instant? My arse
