It took me seven emails to return simple lights. Novostella makes it extremely difficult to return something to deter the customer.

After 5 years my lights began to flicker and became uncontrollable using the remote. I contacted Novostella to purchase a new remote—which seemed to be the issue. It was not so I continued to work with the firm and helped diagnose the issue. We probably exchanged 10 emails and videos until the problem was resolved. For a very small issue they were very cooperative in helping fix the problem.

I have ordered over 20 lights in the past and recently ordered some outdoor lights in white. The delivery driver left the package outside my gate and didn't use my gate code printed on the shipping label. Box had been crushed. Lights inside the box were very tangled and I was unable to sync them with my phone and wifi. Closer inspection looks like they had been installed. I wrote the company and rather then giving me an easy way to return them, they made it difficult. They want me to make a video and shoot pictures with a description of what was wrong. It's been two weeks and I haven't had time to deal with that. I'll most likely will trash them and never order from this company again. I work 60+ hours per week and don't have time to deal with this crap.

Fast delivery, great product, easy to Set up and use; very reliable

3 sets of lights all 3 defective and poor service.

I loved the lights but after almost a year one of the sets did not work. Very disappointed with them

need the control box for strip lights never got a answer if you have it

We have spotlights and color changing lights from Novostella all around our home. It looks beautiful and our neighbors always compliment us. We think the customer service is second to none and will continue to order from them in the future. 😊

We purchased lighting from this company almost 2 years ago and off the bat had a little trouble, but The company did their best to make things right. Now this is a positive they did a good job here regardless that their product had a flaw they did their best to try to rectify it. Well all that is out of the window now and I'll explain why. In our opinion this company is set to go out of business since they have so many discontinued products. Obviously that's not good for people that purchase products a year or so ago because their newer products cannot work with the older ones and they no longer sell the older one so you cannot add on. Dead end! Now they're newer product is a separate technology like Bluetooth compared to Wi-Fi and customers are tricked into thinking that they can control these only to find out you must purchase another hub from them to be able to. When you look these new products up on Amazon you get the yellow warning of frequently returned item. It's obvious why it's frequently returned because people cannot control it and they did not realize that they have to buy more devices to be able to much less if you read the reviews the distance of communication is almost non-existent with some stating they could literally be touching the device and not control it. We contact them directly to ask about why they discontinued or do not offer the very slightly older model to be able to add on to devices And I will tell you that it was absolutely the most unprofessional never answer a question dancing around it the whole time. This is why I'm telling you that our belief is that they'd be going out of business to go from the beginning of caring about customers to not even answering a question even after asking more than four times. I would stay clear of this brand since our experience has had problems from the beginning and their newer models are already known to be bad and you can know now that they don't care if you purchase previous products and want to add more lighting. Or just take Amazon's advice where when you look at the product it says frequently returned. You can also look through the reviews where customers state that support is almost non-existent which I didn't believe until I dealt with it "again" myself the "second" time. Ignoring questions and not getting back to us for many days, definitely not good.

Horrendous tracking! First it said ‘delivered’, now it says I’ll get 4/4/25, three weeks BEFORE it was ordered! Ridiculous. It was ordered nearly 3 weeks ago & nowhere in sight.

Did not honor their warranty. Wanted me to purchase a multi tester and check the power supply which was clearly dead.

Great Products and great customer service! I purchased the Novostella smart outdoor rope light and couldn't be happier with it! Looks great and is very well built. Lots of color combinations and brightness levels and should last many years to come. I did however accidentally damage the controller during a remodel. Totally my fault and nothing to do with the build quality. I reached out to customer service and they quickly assisted me and made sure the part I was ordering was the correct replacement controller and shipped it right out to me. Compared to most of the cheep Chinese rope lights available the Novostella Rope Light is far and above much higher quality.

The light is amazing very happy with it. Had a little problem, setting the schedule and keeping it.
Also, don’t know if I can hook it to my Wi-Fi so I have to get out there and work it from close range
