I was very sceptical about trying…
I was very sceptical about trying nutribuddy, but I'm so glad I did, my only regret is not trying sooner. Absolutely love everything from Start to finish. Friendly company, excellent product and fast efficient delivery.
I have ibs and these were what came up when looking for a way to settle my symptoms and lose weight aswell.
Flavour is amazing in the vanilla and chocolate I've tried in the complete shakes still have to try the strawberry Flavour though but I expect it to be as lovely as the others.
Not only did it settle my ibs but it really is helping me lose weight too.
Thin shakes but very yummy and as with previous comments i read if I want to make them thicker I will just blend with a banana but honestly I don't think it needs it.
Really enjoying the shakes and found the company a pleasure to deal with.

Day 2 of the shakes review
Day 2 of the shakes review, did day one mixed with water day two mixing with unsweetened almond milk. Trust me I have done / had many meal replacements/ weight loss shakes this is good. Yes can be grainy , yes the flavour isn’t a strong one but after a few sips can tell if it’s strawberry or chocolate. Had the hot slim yesterday with hot milk as don’t have microwave wasn’t my favourite thing will persevere with it this week but once back at work will skip this . Happy to proceed with breakfast and workout shake and have light meal in evening see what happens! All I would say is yes read the reviews but please try it for yourself and make your own mind up like I did.

Our shakes do have texture as we focus on creating real foods without any nasty chemicals such as emulsifiers and thickeners. These chemicals are often added to shakes to make them mix better. However, we believe it's better for our customers not to use them in order to keep our shakes super-healthy and pure.
As the flavours we use are natural they aren't as strong as the many artificial flavours that you find in most products, but using a little less liquid can make the flavour a little stronger.

I've been buying Nutribuddy Shakes for years now and I really love them. I'm allergic to milk and I've tried other vegan shakes and they taste horrible. So not only does it taste nice but I know its packed full of healthy, nutritious ingredients. I've just ordered the protein booster too as I am now on a high protein diet.

Great protein shake for IBS suffers
I have been trawling the internet for a protein shake that was right for me, and I think I’ve found it!
I have IBS and trying to find things that work well will my digestion can be a bit of a nightmare.
I am a student nurse so I am pretty much non-stop whether it’s on campus or the hospital. But I started to notice I was missing lunch due to being afraid that my IBS would kick in while I’m in lectures or working on the wards.
I knew this wasn’t great and needed to be able to eat so I could focus on my training.
so I started researching for something that would be suitable, Something quick and easy, not too big and would not upset my stomach.
I have tried a few different brands of protein shakes and all of them left me feeling sick and bloated for days. I stumbled across an article online about a lady who suffers with IBS, and how Nutribuddy shakes have really helped her.
I was sold! And to top it off the price is great! Under £30 for a months worth of lunches!
When i first got to try the shake I used only water…I must say I hated the way it tasted and couldn’t even finish it.
I saw that it was suggested I use milk and blend it with fruits.
I used oat milk and bananas.
It definitely makes a difference and was much more enjoyable.
It hasn’t set of my IBS so for me it’s a winner! Thank you Nutribuddy!

I have tried all sorts of 'diet' products over the years but I am so glad to have finally found Nutribuddy. I love their breakfast shakes as they taste oaty and not too sweet. The porridge is also great, tasty and filling. Orders arrive quickly and are well packaged. They are introducing new glass packaging too which is gorgeous and practical!
I would honestly say that if you are thinking of ordering then do it! I was really pleasantly surprised by the products and hopefully you will be too!

Great initative - product needs work
Really admire the company for the huge discounts offered to NHS workers, but the product itself needs work. The shakes don't taste very nice and no amount of blending with different milks or added fruit helps. When made following the instructions, the shakes are so thin and watery.
I'm also a little skeptical about the nutrition as their website states things like 'contains chia seeds which are high in protein and low in calories' when chia seeds are famously high calorie seeds. In addition, 166 calories (1 serving of meal replacement) is no where near enough for a meal.
Makes me question whether the company knows anything about nutrition at all, or whether they're just another 'Slim Fast' disguised as healthy.
I really wanted to switch from Huel to Nutribuddy for busy shifts but just can't I'm afraid.

In response to your points:
Consistency:
Our focus is on only using natural ingredients which is why unlike Huel we don't add thickeners (which are artificial additives). This does make the consistency thinner. Most customers love the natural consistency, however, we understand you may prefer it thicker in which case there are many solutions. For example if you blend with a banana that will naturally thicken the shake.
We also differ from Huel in that we don't add artificial vitamin and mineral blends. Instead, Nutribuddy shakes provide all nutrients from the wholefood ingredients which studies have shown result in better absorption. This also ensures Nutribuddy products are suitable for everyone including pregnant women who are advised against consuming artificial vitamins.
Nutritional information
The calorie content excludes milk / vegan milk. When this is added the calorie content is greater.
Chia seeds are a healthy superfood and very high in lots of nutrients including antioxidants.
