Do better, Nutrisystem, I loved your products n had good faith in ya.

I started Nutrisystem, in 2021(?), followed the booklet, they gave you n had good success. Foods were all that, but it was tolerable. I went off of it n came back this yr.
My order, today, I received 15 white cheddar popcorn, when I only ordered 5.
It's like the pop the popcorn n baked it, afterwards. No
Waffles-my past favorite, has a slight strawberry (?) smell n it looks like they overcooked it. I'm not into that.
My go-to favorites are meatloaf sandwich, hamburger n 4 cheese melt. Still good.
I am impressed by the apple cinnamon breakfast bar (I loved my past apple cinnamon walnut oatmeal) I guess they merged that, into bars.
Now, the bean burritos are delicious, I'll be ordering more.
I was going to start on the subscription til I read the comments.
Do better on the Shipping, I never ordered 15 bags n I had to donate them, I don't do baked popcorn.
Give up on frozen cakes, it's sucking up all the saliva in my mouth, it's dry like heck, except for the lava chocolate cake. Do better.
I will continue ordering, except it'll be in smaller amounts n considering smartones/healthy choice/other weight-loss meals.
To the consumers new or comebacks, order small amounts n test it out, some are delicious n some, oh goodness.
Be wary of shipping, very careless

Beware customer service

Been using Nutrisystem off and on for years with success but their customer service is by far the worst. You can't seem to cancel unless you call them which is where the frustration begins. I tried calling them on several occasions but was put on hold for over an hour each time with no results. Their chat was no better!

An okay weight reduction plan, but some unreasonable restrictions

Been on an auto-delivery Nutrisystem weight reduction plan for several years now and have not lost any weight at all. Actually I gained about 10 pounds. A lot of it is my fault though, because I like eating and many times overindulge on their delicious chocolate snacks.

However, there are some things that I dislike about this company. They include the following:

1) They don't offer a good selection of breakfast foods.

2) They don't allow me to mix food choices between the different meals. For example, I am not allowed to have lunch foods for dinner and vice-versa. It would be nice if I was permitted to do that.

3) They have a habit of making substitutions of food choices without asking my permission. I have the right to not accept food choices I don't like, if they happen to be out-of-stock for food choices I do like. They could call or email me ahead of time to discuss this prior to processing the next order.

4) I think it's unfair that Nutrisystem allows auto-delivery customers to postpone orders only up to 60 days. There are reasons people postpone orders. With me, it is always financial. There should not be any time limit on how long customers can postpone auto-delivery orders.

My husband and I have done Nutrisystem…

My husband and I have done Nutrisystem several times. This last time, IS THE LAST TIME, we got food we didn’t order, instead of what we paid for, and the second shipment a whole lot of our food was defrosted and smashed. They just sent my husband the extra shakes in the second shipment and he didn’t order it, but guess what, they charged us for it. This is truly the last time we will ever use Nutrisystem. I will try another company if I want to jumpstart my weight loss, we we normally do after the holidays. They have gone down hill real fast and their customer service is outsourced and it’s very hard to understand the reps. Terrible company anymore.

The program itself is meh, not worth the price.
The cancelation system however is absurdly predatory. You can't just click cancel. You have to call... and they left me on hold for half the day.

Beware!

Beware, people! They no longer take Mastercard, which I've used on their site for YEARS! Dumbest thing ever. The packaging is substandard. Before my next order arrives, the food I still have is freezer-burnt. I don't think I've ever rec'd a piece of French toast that wasn't broken. They substitute without notification. I ordered two of one item one time and they sent me 9! And 12 of something else! The only reason the diet worked for me was because I was starving! One can really only be on the program for maybe a couple months before you start longing for REAL food! Had hoped to try it again before my upcoming class reunion but I'll go elsewhere.

I've been with nutrasystem for 6years

I've been with nutrasystem for 6years, and had 3 times they have messed up my order but corrected,Now I just got shorted 2 items this last order,They tell me to bad you've had 3 corrections! So now their RIPPING ME OFF!! For not giving me what I paid for!!

Buyer beware!


When you join a Nutrisystem plan you are also agreeing to a subscription! I cancelled my food plan Sept 2025. In Jan 2026 I was charged $69.99 for a subscription. Make sure you realize you are stuck with the subscription if you do not cancel that separately! They claimed they sent an email a month before the deduction, but if they did I thought it was a spam advertisement since I hadn't had business with them in four months! REMEMBER! If you cancel your food orders, you must cancel this subscription. What they should do when you call to cancel, they should ask up front if you still want this subscription and give you the option to cancel at same time! READ EVERYTHING before joining this plan. Two service reps hung up on me and the third said even if I speak to a manager there was no way I would get a refund. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Not Much Food To Order

They keep having less and less food to order! I don’t know if they are going out of business are they just don’t bother replenishing food. I have always done well using Nutrisystem, but if I can get the food what is the use? I am cancelling my Club Advantage. Why pay for $69.99 for no food to order.

I have never been so angry so…

I have never been so angry so frustrated and so disappointed with a company. I received my first order and the food was not edible.
I called up to cancel the account and they told me that they had already placed the order. I told him that I didn’t place an order. They said I’d have to pay for it because the order was already placed and they couldn’t pull it.
I received the order I paid for it. I didn’t have an option.
I then get a notification that I’m receiving another order the following month I said I cancelled my account, they said I did not cancel it at the right time and they pulled another order for me. It wasn’t shipped but since the order was pulled, they could not stop it. I then asked to speak to Customer Service. They told me I was gonna have to pay for it. It came to my house I had paid for it. I threw it all away. I got an email from them in response to my email to them saying that they cancelled it. This was a year ago. I thought I was out of the woods.
I just received an email from Nutrisystem telling me that they tried to place an order for me but my credit card wouldn’t accept it. I called them and I said I’ve cancelled my order. I no longer have Nutrisystem. They said well you didn’t cancel the subscription. It is impossible to cancel your subscription with Nutrisystem so what I am doing now is I am canceling the credit card that I’ve been using and asking them to send me a new one with a different account number because I do not trust them. They are not trustworthy. The person that I just spoke to there I asked them if I could please have it in writing that it was cancelled and he was telling me that he was just a call center and he could not assist me in emailing or receiving emails.. the only thing they’re capable of doing is sending you food that you do not want. The food is truly not edible. The only thing I could say about this is buyer beware

Tough To Cancel

Look the program works if you follow it. You need to make sure to drink enough water and eat those 5 vegis every day which is not included. I ate a ton of frozen vegi. If you don't do that you will be starving all day. The food is processed. When you look at the nutrition it's just slightly higher in protein and slightly lower in calories.

Now the down side. The auto shipping. Be careful because they come like clock work and I end up wasting some of it because I can't fit more than one shippment in my freezer.

Now the worst part. It's a pain in the ass to cancel. You will waste 20 minutes plus while they pester you to continue. or pause membership. I get that it's abusiness. but for a better rating. I require a simple cancel button and a simple confirmation to refill.

Buyer be ware.

I canceled my account 5 or 6 months…

I canceled my account 5 or 6 months ago. I was surprised yesterday when I got a notice from PayPal that Nutrisystem had billed me for $75.76. I called Nutrisystem and finally got someone to ask what was going on. She said I had signed up to something, I can't even tell you that delays payments for a certain amount of time, and I guess ever so often. This sure was not me knowing anything about such going's on. They make these plan's so confusing. I've gone back on their website and can't find anywhere that if you don't reorder they're going to charge you for not ordering. This is false advertising if you ask me. Long story short, they wouldn't refund my money, so I guess I go to PayPal and see if they'd be able for me to get my money back for me. Sorry, sorry company.

Never, ever, ever again will I order from Nutrisystem!

The pricing is ridiculous. The meals (every one of them) are highly processed and are, frankly, inedible. Nearly every meal is microwaved - I mean, who wants to eat frozen meals every day? Their customer service is laughable. You can sign up online easy enough, but trying to cancel? You'll be on hold for 2+ hours as you can't cancel online. They do this on purpose so you won't cancel. Also, be aware that if you sign up online, you're committed to purchasing this swill for 3 months - if you try to cancel before that timeframe, they will nail you with a $125 "fee". If you want to lose weight, I'd HIGHLY recommend Weight Watchers. Their app is only $15 a month and it's very easy to use. You eat REAL FOOD that you buy at a grocery store. It doesn't come packaged in a frozen box or in a plastic wrapper that you heat and eat - and that you have to WAIT to receive through FedEx. I've lost 8 lbs in a month on Weight Watchers vs. losing very little on Nutrisystem. Save your money and do NOT buy from Nutrisystem!! You're welcome.

Nutisystem is a terrible company to deal with! You lose weight because the food is so awful! If you run into a problem with an order, expect to spend an hour on hold before someone from bumfuk Pakistan answers your call! The food is so bad that there were days I just couldn't face having to eat it!

I have ordered twice and each time

I have ordered twice and each time, items that I ordered were omitted. I submitted for replacement and the replacement arrives with the next order. BUT I have to keep ordering because the items will only come with the next shipment. So it seems that they leave items out so you HAVE to order again to got the items they left out.

NUTRISYSTEM IS RUN BY LOWLIFES

Nutrisystem is run by lowlifes, crooks, and scum. I wanted to cancel my subscription, and you cannot get through to them. You have to push a certain number to cancel your order, and no one ever answers the call. This deliberate act on their part. They do not want you to cancel your subscription. I emailed them, and the email came back as undeliverable. I emailed them again 3 days before it was time to ship my order telling them I did not want the order. They deliberately ignored my email until the shipment had shipped. Then they said due to high volume of emails they did not get to it in time to cancel the order. They are scum. Then they said to let them know if I wanted to cancel my plan. That is what I had been trying to do for 3 weeks before it shipped. Their policy is to let them know by 6 pm the day before the shipment to cancel any order. I had been trying for weeks. They are truly run by lowlifes. Visa got my money back.

Horrible customer support

2 of our orders were damaged by FedEx in shipment. While replacements were provided, the auto delivery schedule was totally screwed up. We received a regular delivery of frozen products, then less than a week later, they scheduled another one, with no place to store it. They could not cancel it, and would not allow us to refuse delivery, or provide a refund. Horrible customer support!

I would leave a zero star. they dont answer the phone. i wanted to try it was told one payment and they have been charging me monthly even though i canceled my membership. now cant even log on to try to reach someone since they dont answer the phone and its saying it doesnt recognize my email. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would.

This is a horrible company. I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription for weeks. I’ve called multiple times, waited on hold for hours, and never got a response. When I press the option to request a callback, no one ever calls back.

I also sent emails to their customer service, and they bounced or were completely ignored.

I’m leaving the country, and Nutrisystem is still sending deliveries and charging my credit card. I will now be forced to cancel my credit card just to stop them from billing me — a huge inconvenience with many accounts connected to that card.

And to make matters worse: the food is awful — heavily processed, full of sodium, and tastes terrible. This has been a complete nightmare from start to finish.

Do not sign up. Avoid this company at all costs

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. Had used Nutrisysten before and was pleased with the food. I've recently gone back on Nutrisystem and was greatly disappointed. The frozen items were melted and inedible. They replaced the order which was also melted. I cancelled my membership as it was a waste of money due to this.
