AI-Generated/Fake Reviews on Website
I asked an AI to assess the likelihood of the red light mat reviews being legitimate (versus AI-built) product reviews. Based on what it told me, there is an incredibly high likelihood that the product reviews on their site are AI-generated/fake.
Don't believe me? Ask your favorite AI the following question followed by a sample of your choice of the red light mat reviews: "You are an expert in identifying and distinguishing AI-built product reviews from real product reviews. There is an incredible similarity in the lengths of these product reviews, which caught my eye. What's your take on the likelihood of these being legitimate (versus AI-built) product reviews?"
Follow it up with the following: "Here is the entire corpus of their reviews - please break down the linguistic markers and compare them to known AI-generated text patterns:" and attach the entire set of reviews.
My AI tool came to the following conclusion: "Based on linguistic, structural, and corpus‑level analysis, the probability that this entire review set is AI‑generated or AI‑assisted is extremely high. The consistency is too perfect, the phrasing too repetitive, the narratives too templated, and the reviewer identities too uniform for this to be a natural collection of human reviews."
If Nuvio can't be trusted to post real reviews, can they be trusted with their specs, their return policy, their warranty, etc.? Not with my money, thanks.
WARNING NO REFUND POLICY ONCE YOU OPEN
WARNING NO REFUND POLICY! We purchased our chiller in Dec 2025 and received it very quickly. It worked great and that is not the issue. After researching and believing cold would help a lower back issue it actually made it worse and after about 2 1/2 weeks we can no longer use. I thought I saw you could return within 30 days. Well in the small details that is only for unopened and unused and you pay the shipping.
I can understand the tubing and pump attachments which are minimal. The main cost is the chiller motor box and there is no way that should not be returnable.
I agree after looking at several reviews their customer service is absolutely zero stars. No way to speak to a human email or text. They responded to one email saying sorry nothing we can unless it's not working and never responded to my text. Very concerning on how they are operating.

I couldn’t give it zero stars, or I would. December 31, 2025 they took my money. January 3, 2026 they said they ran out of stock and wouldn’t get more for 12-18 days. January 6, 2025 I asked for a cancelation and refund of my purchase price. They offered me $75 cash back and I rejected. Said I just want a cancelation and refund. Then they offered $80 cash back. I said no, I just want cancelation and refund. This morning I chatted online and was told my order had not been fulfilled and was assured I could get cancelation and refund. Then this afternoon I receive an email stating my order has been shipped. UPS label created after 3:00PM today after I was told 8:00AM I would receive cancelation and refund. I’m returning as soon as I receive, that is, if they’ll respond to me in a timely enough matter for me to be within the return window. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Very poor customer service.
We love our nuvio chiller
We love our nuvio chiller. The cold plunges are a great health tool. We took extra steps to keep the water clean like adding an extra, separate filter with a UV light to kill bacteria. Using a dobie pad, we lightly scrub the inner surfaces periodically whenever it feels a little slimy and we use a fine mesh net to scoop out any floating scum. These steps keep the water clean far longer. Recommend the tub vs the pod as you can stretch out in the tub. Once we made these fine tunings the product serves us well.

My experience with Nuvio has been fantastic. I have the Red Light Therapy Mat and The Chiller and have really benefited from both products. My interactions with Customer Service have been great as well. I have been able to communicate with their representatives quickly and efficiently and have had my questions and concerns addressed promptly. I like Nuvio's list of available products and plan on trying more as time goes on. Thank you Nuvio!
Red-Light Therapy and Customer Service
While I cannot comment on my Red-Light Therapy mat that I ordered, as it is on back-order, the Customer Service follow-up has been wonderful on status of their fulfillment. I will come back to this review once I receive my order and had the opportunity to use it.
Terrible company
Terrible company! Bought a pro chiller and in less than 2 weeks the pump stopped working, 2 weeks later and I have been unable to speak to a human, all correspondence is AI with no resolution. The website and Instagram are both misleading showing raving reviews it’s only when you research deeper that you realize that away from these platforms the reviews tell a completely different story. Sadly after so many bad reviews this company doesn’t seem to care for their customers and have no desire to improve. Look elsewhere for similar products who care for their customers
Very positive service experience
We have been using the Nuvio chiller for over a year now. It has worked great. It DOES take longer to chill than stated on the website. BUT I also have a 320gal ColdPod so I wasn't expecting rapid-chilling. When it gets to temperature it cycles on and off as it should.
I just had my first service issue with the unit. I received prompt service and support. I was engaged in an email thread with a support person within 24hrs. I sent a video of my issue and they determined it was a temp probe failure. The part was $8! I paid for it and they immediately shipped it. I also received a tracking number right away. While it was in transit they sent me three videos showing the replacement process. The shipping scared me at first when I saw it coming from China and was through "17track.com"or something like that. It took 8-10 days to get to me. Once it got to the States and through customs it got to me very quickly. I am competent with tools and it took me less than 30min to gvet my machine up and running again.
Customer service on the chiller
The customer service that I received from Nuvio (Charlie)was awesome! He diagnosed the issue and sent the replacement part for my chiller. It is working like new again!
What a terrible customer service and…
What a terrible customer service and company structure. I ordered the wrong chiller and immediately sent them the request to make the change, they said all good and to wait till the email came which then said no, but we will give you 10% to keep it or pay the shipping to send it back.
That is frankly terrible service. Let's hope the POS actually works as stated.
I bought the chiller in June
I bought the chiller in June. It worked until September. It stopped chilling the tub. Contacted customer support. Multiple emails back and forth. 24-48 hour response time. Multiple videos sent to customer service. They finally said I needed a new pump. They said it will come in 5-7 days. 14 days later attach new pump. Same problem as before.
Contacted customer support. Took more videos. They contact me after 48 hours. Say I need a new pump. I show them the two pumps side by side. I ask for a trade , my chiller for a new chiller. The answer is we do not provide replacement chillers.
My response to anyone is as the other bad reviews. Do not buy anything from Nuvio. Nuvio equipment is garbage. I even bought a tub.$500.00. Cheap plastic that bends in at the sides. Cost about $2.00 in China where I assume Nuvio is located.
Do not trust , contact , buy anything from the dishonest and evil company.
I bought the full bundle with chiller
I bought the full bundle with chiller, sauna and tub in July and the sauna steamer doesn’t work, the lid cracked and the sauna has torn from limited use. Hopefully the chiller continues otherwise a complete waste of $1,000. I reached out to customer service about warranty and didn’t get a response. Don’t get fooled into buying this garbage.
Run Fast from Nuvio!
We purchased our Nuvio Chiller (with free inflatable pod) in August based on the information found on their website. Specifically the claim: "Does the Chiller work outdoors in extreme temperatures?
Absolutely. It’s engineered to keep your tub icy-cold even in high and low outdoor temperatures." (Direct quote). Our ice bath will not get below 50 even though it is in the same location on our shaded back porch as our previous ice bath (39) and the only customer service is a bot. No phone number, no humans, no returns. It is really disappointing. Not sure how they got all of the 5 star reviews on the website....
Broken out of the box and no help from the company
Unit was broken out of the box, the pump did not work. The company would not refund the purchase or replace the pump. The quality of the unit units are obviously very cheap and the company does not stand by that. All they offered was free lifetime support, lol. I highly recommend others steer clear of this company

Decent product, it keeps my ice bath cold and I’ve used less ice since having it. I like my water temp around 40 degrees. Customer service responded quickly and helped with the error code I had.

The Chiller Pro - STAY AWAY!!!
The Chiller Pro does not function as advertised, and my entire experience with Nuvio has been one of the worst customer service situations I have ever dealt with.
I purchased a Chiller Pro for $1,100 on July 28, 2025. The very first unit arrived dead on arrival and would not even power on. After multiple attempts to reach support (responses often took 48–72 hours or more), they eventually acknowledged the issue and promised a replacement. The replacement unit they sent, however, was not the correct product. At this point, I had two units in my possession, one that was dead and another that was not what I ordered.
Support eventually sent yet another unit. Unfortunately, this third unit has never worked properly either. The pump does not circulate water correctly, and the chiller stalls around 55°F instead of reaching the advertised temperatures. Despite providing videos and photos as requested, and following every single troubleshooting step, Nuvio has refused to issue a refund or send a properly functioning replacement.
Instead, they offered either (1) yet another replacement (after three failed units already), or (2) a “goodwill” partial refund of only 20% ($220). This is unacceptable given the amount I paid, the repeated failures, and the time wasted.
To date, I have spent over two months attempting to resolve this, and I still have nothing to show for it except multiple defective units and hundreds of unanswered or delayed emails. This company does not stand behind its products and does not honor reasonable customer requests for refunds when equipment fails to work.
I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Nuvio: stay away. They will waste your time, your money, and leave you with broken equipment and no resolution. In my opinion, this company is not trustworthy and operates in a way that feels like a scam.
$750 in the trash
Be aware if you order this product, take it out of the box and assemble it and it doesn’t work, they will NOT refund you as they consider it “used” after water is run through it.
How you would ever know if it works without filling it and turning it on is beyond me. Nothing delivered unusable should be considered used. Nobody stepped a toe in this thing because … it doesn’t work.
We paid $750 for this product (on sale) at the end of July and cannot even use it, or get refunded. They offered to send replacement parts which were slow to come and did not fix the issue.
“Customer Service” (lack thereof) is wildly slow as well. If you’re desperate to lose space in your trashcan and also throw away $750.. Nuvio is your brand!
