If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would, rented a property managed by Oakfield, firstly customer service is appalling when you call you’re made to feel like an inconvenience, secondly logging work to be acknowledged, investigated and carried out takes a ridiculously long time for example 4 and a half months without a working oven. Property was riddled with mould and damp due to a lack of and very poor ventilation (which as tenants we were made to feel like we were causing the problem) and when it came to checking out of the property the landlords wanted to keep our entire deposit despite the failings on their part, Oakfield we’re in favour of supporting the landlords decision over us the tenant. Any moneys owed to Oakfield was met with demand of payment in full ASAP but any recompense to us was met with radio silence! AVOID WITH ALL COSTS!

Amazing Team

This is my second experience with Oakfield. Tia and Kim have been consistently amazing, they are assets to Oakfield. They are polite, selfless and proactive, they go all out to ensure a seamless service with clients. As a result of my experiences with them, I have recommended Oakfield to some of my friends and will continue to do that.

The worst agency i have ever seen

The worst agency i have ever seen, keys were handed back 23rd December, I still have not got my deposit back of over £2,000 and it is now middle of March!

Emma Hawkins the Lettings director apparently has 12 years experience but said i owe £2600 in rent but turned out it was £0, because of her embarrassment how wrong she got it she is trying to claim £600 from me for saying the keys were handed back late when they have it in writing from me they was handed back the day i moved out.

They are super slow with anything, you do not get your deposit back from them and make excuses to keep your deposit so be careful when renting with them, also their landlords are very unprofessional, they came into the house i was renting from them and went into my personal belongings having a good nose around, I even have it on CCTV as i have cameras in my house for security and Oakfield still denied this EVEN THAT I HAVE IT ON CCTV and tried to sweep it under the rug.

They are the worst agency i have seen, id rather be homless than rent a property from Oakfield.

Your deposit is held with the TDS and is currently going through the adjudication process. Whilst I of course wont disclose publicly what the claim is for but I can confirm that we would never make an unfair or untrue claim. The matter will be assessed and adjudicated fairly by the TDS where you will be allowed an opportunity to submit your evidence following which they will decide what is due back to you and what is due to the Landlord. This process does take many weeks / months this is not Oakfield being slow.

Regarding the actions of the Landlord as I advised at the time Oakfield were not present at this visit and cannot be held accountable for it was not swept under the rug.

Shameful

Very disappointed they was not even willing to discuss a view for someone that was disabled, got immediately dismissed by them
The only agent that treated us this badly, no manager bothered to call back as promised either instead one line email. This kind of discrimination is wrong
Just like to update I called the manager who said she would look into it, made excuses for behaviour, but never even bothered to come back to me. We did however make another enquiry exactly same details but without mentioning disability and changing name no surprise got a response for viewing which speaks volumes.

Oakfields Estate Agents, Buckley

We had been with Purple Bricks Estate Agents for 9 months with no positive offers, they had asked us to drop our selling price 3 times, taking the price well below it's valuation price, at this point we switched to Oakfields, they re advertised it at a more competitive price & we had a final offer within 1 month, can't say enough about the staff, they are very professional, kept us informed every step of the way, they made the hole house selling experience stress free.

Litigious, un-caring about leaseholder's legitimate needs and are only concerned with making money for themselves. Avoid like the plague.

Easy process to rent a flat

My wife and I were anxious and jittery at the prospect of relocating to Hastings from east London. Oakfield Hastings branch representative Tia West made the whole process easy, professional and made us feel welcome. Her pleasantness and courtesy on phone are well commended. Thank you all at the branch for your invaluable contribution to landonfbie our new home within a short time of arriving at Hastings. Quite remarkable.

The will try and keep your deposit !!!!

Rented a property on Bexhill certain staff need training on coming back on emails and on maintenance you report it and wait your turn if they ever arrive , I am at my deposit stage now and i was pre warned by nearly everyone that i know don't rent with oak field they will make up any excuse to get your Deposit and this is the case , I have left my property and will be complaining to TDS i have now left and there is a balance that won’t be paid Until my deposit is paid back in full they never change these estate agents and I advise everyone to use TDS to get there deposits back that is what they are there for that very reason to stop the likes of Oakfield ripping folk off

This is my second year of renting…

This is my second year of renting through Oakfields and I am glad to say for someone who came into renting a property late in life all the staff I have dealt with have been very personable and professional in all my communications with them. All enquiries are dealt with as quickly as possible and if the staff member I have spoken to say they will call you back - they do. My latest term of rent was dealt with by Allannah Hancock who was a pleasure to talk to and sorted things very quickly. I hope to rent through Oakfields for years to come primarily because they are so efficient in a very amenable way. Colin Williamson

Extremely professional and friendly

Oakfields have been extremely professional and friendly. We have mainly dealt with Lily and she has sorted out a new tenant for our flat very quickly. We are very pleased and happy to recommend them 😊

First Rental Experience

For the first time my family needed a rental property, which would accommodate three adults and a small dog. We were recommended Oakfield Estate Agents in Eastbourne. Oakfield were superb from start to finish. They found us a lovely house in Stone Cross, which met all our needs, and they provided ongoing support when required. The friendly and professional service made our rental experience totally trouble free. A special thank you must go to Izzy Pannett, Zoe Matthews, Charlie Hamilton, Zoe White and Josh Thompson. Through all their respective departments they ensured our stay in Stone Cross was a positive one. We wish the team all the best for the future and once again a big thank you.

What an amazing bunch of agents

What an amazing bunch of agents. Right form the start the team have been amazing with constructive advice and guidance , As I am relocating my move wasn't going to be the easiest to manage but the team here were with me all the way helping me with property searches and tenant requirements , it was a shame that me relocation plans changed to another part of the Kent coast but be rest assured if they hadn't then Oakfield is the company I would have used to secure a smooth trouble free move.

Izzy Pannett was my main contact and I had every confidence in her from the word go . I also had the pleasure of speaking with Charlie who again was super , I didn't have to repeat myself as he now my situation right from the start of the call and finally Josh who again was transparent and a pleasure to deal with

Great experience with Oakfield! Generally haven’t been too impressed with estate agents previously, but Oakfield are friendly, helpful and on the ball. Eleanor has helped me get the property I wanted, and has been a great point of contact throughout. Thank you Eleanor and Oakfield team!

Chasing rent after I moved out!

Moved out of the flat two days ago as tenancy came to an end, and had giving my notice a month prior. Also handed my keys back at the check-out inspection. Had a call today chasing for my rent as it was due!

You would think that since I moved out & handed my keys back, they would have this recorded on the system, all they care about is your money!

Stay Away!
