Obras de Arte is a profit-with-purpose shoe boutique that sells a unique style of comfortable, breathable leather loafers. Thanks to their woven leather construction, our shoes keep the foot covered but cool, allowing for complete airflow and serving as the perfect sandal alternative for men and women who prefer not to show their toes. Our shoes not only feel good but also do good. The Obras Loafers are produced where they originated from: Mexico, rather than being replicated and mass-produced elsewhere. They are made in a small, family-run workshop in Sahuayo, Michoacán, which employs master craftsmen and women. The workshop pays their artisans a fair wage, provides a safe and professional work environment, and many of the artisans work from home, enabling them to take care of their children. We use sustainably produced, high-quality, vegetable-tanned leather from a local tannery.

Very comfy and stylish
I have very sensitive feet that tend to swell in the summer. I can't wear sandals because every pair I've tried has caused huge blisters in hot weather. I can just about get away with Birkenstocks, but Obras shoes really did the trick! They are incredibly comfortable and soft, and they truly mold to the shape of your feet. They also look wonderful. I highly recommend them! Plus, the customer service is lovely.

I ordered my beautiful orange loafers Thursday and by Saturday morning they had arrived, they are even better than I imagined and will be ordering another pair soon as I love everything about them, really beautifully made with so much care and attention

Great Gift
Bought these as a gift for my cousin (after having my own pair for over a year) and she absolutely loves them! Makes a great gift and the Denim color is lovely in-person.

Stylish and Comfortable
Saw these on Justine Tabak website when worn with one of her dresses. Otherwise I would have overlooked these shoes, glad I didn't. Love the pale pink, looks terrific with jeans too. Highly recommend!
