I want to make one thing clear. If you can find the book you want at a library, then get it THERE! My choice of books are unique though so I had to resort to..piracy to get my books.I feel sorry but I really love reading and I go through a book every week. I am NOT spending 20$ a week buying a book that I will not read again. Since I can find my books here, than why should I buy them somewhere? If I am actually rating the website based on how well it does its job? It’s AMAZING! It has every book that I need and it has such a hassle free downloading experience compared to alternatives like anna’s archive. Most of these reviews seem to be about piracy but if you want my honest opinion about the website itself? Its almost an unreal place to find books! (its not 5 stars because there are libraries that you can go to but when you cant find your book at a library, yup this is the one!

Authors who are vastly underpaid for their work find thier work stolen from them, what a disgrace! Who runs this company and benefits from this out-and-out theft?

As soon as I downloaded a book, 30 USD were withdrawn from my account without my authorization. I cannot prove the connection because the payment details only show that it is authorized to "n2p*v afopx."

It’s been really beneficial in helping me find free books to download. I absolutely adore it and would hate to see it stop

I did download a book but my phone AI suggested that it was a scanned document so, thinking it was probably an illegal copy (and as someone suggested here, that it might have a bug attached), I deleted my copy and downloaded the book on Kindle.

I came across oceanofpdf by accident this summer and as I'm a naive IT OAP I decided to download two books. I didn't have any issues apart from the massive font whenever I turned on my ereader and sometimes the page on which I closed down rarely corresponded to the one when I opened up again - had to keep a note of page number! I did donate presuming money went to the writer (my stupid naivety) . Towards the end of the summer I tried once more to log on but to no avail; then in mid September all appeared well and I downloaded a book. Since then nothing so I doubt it will reappear. I certainly shall not use it again as I now realise no money passes to the authors.

OceanofPDF have allowed my ebook to be STOLEN and placed on the internet illegally. Unacceptable behavior. Wouldn't go into a store and steal anything, so why someone's hard work?

If this site is happy to illegally steal copyrighted material then I’m sure they’d be happy to include a nasty bug or two in your download? PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY 💟☮️

OceanofPDF have stolen my book despite my copyright, they have watermarked it with their own brand, and are not distributing it ILLEGALLY. Disgusting!!!

OCEANOFPDF stole two of my books and posted them illegally. When you download stolen books, writers who have spent years writing those books get zero payment for their labor. Writers earn very little money under the best circumstances. Be a good guy--don’t buy pirated books. Why not get a library card instead? You still won't have to pay to read and the author is in fact paid by the library.

This is piracy, plain and simple. Many of the books are copyrighted. Authors make little enough without some gonzo group stealing under the false flag of "knowledge and information should be free and accessible to everyone around the globe." Take this site down!

This site steals copyrighted material and deprives writers of their livelihood. It is a form of piracy.

Theft, pure and simple. My book was stolen. Please find books at a public library, where they can be accessed for free as hard copy, ebook, or audiobook but for which the writer will be fairly compensated.

My book was stolen to be put up here illegally. If people download it here I don’t get a penny for my years of hard work and expense, paying an editor and so on. Most authors make less than $10,000 a year and it can take years to write a book. Many authors on this site are women who may even already take a loss on their book. Just do the right thing and don’t buy pirated books.

Horrible site that gives away stolen books. Do not support this illegal practice! Support authors by using your local library or purchasing books from your local bookstore!

Many, many pirated books here, including several from my publisher. Unethical.

And if you receive one, you are stealing too. OceansofPDF is ripping off hard-working authors. You can get free books at your library.
