One star rating seems generous. Obtained my earrings from them and after 3 months one stone fell out. They once again tried fobbing me off saying that I was past the 30 day return period. Seem to totally ignore Sales of Goods Acts regarding faulty goods. Trading Standards were contacted but I am afraid the cost of taking them to Court may have exceeded the price of the earrings so I left it at that. Funnily enough, I had bought a matching ring from a town centre jewellers and after 8 weeks one stone fell out of that. They replace it within a couple of days with no hassle. Then, (I think I may be jinxed) a stone fell out of that one after 9 weeks! Once again it was replaced immediately without any problem. I do really like the design which is why I am perservering. Shame I cannot get a replacement on the earrings!

Have bought from them 6 times, they have never let me down. Fast postage and no faults with items. Recommended

I ordered 30mm gold hoop earings. I received 27mm gold hoop earrings. Given the price of gold I have been overcharged for the item, which is not as described.

sent for a necklace on 26th oct for a xmas present for my wife when it arrived I wrapped it straight away,xmas day bshe wore it boxing day it broke they said it was out of the sixty day guarantee so nothing they can do.as. As both of us are pensioners'I cannot believe that afirm like these should be allowed to trade.

I ordered two identical chains, on opening one was knotted and the other was shorter in length, resulting in it too small to wear!
The items are obviously not checked before despatch and it has now caused me the task of returning and hoping I received a replacement in time for the occasion I purchased it for.

DO NOT DO NOT buy anything from this company. My husband bought me a ring at the end of August and now two months later four stones have dropped out. My husband contacted the company who have told him there is only a 30 day returns guarantee and that they will not replace, repair or refund the item. How can any company only offer a 30 day warranty. I would hate anyone to have the same experience as we have had. Poor quality product, poor customer service. As previously said DO NOT buy from them

What a fool I am its my own fault I ignored all reviews. 1* reviews. Don't purchase and loose out like i have. I purchase off ebay product never came i contacted through ebay no luck.

Please AVOID 🙏 I would hate for anyone to be in the same situation as me. Customer service doesn't reply or care, really poor quality items that don't last. I am now having to go to an ombudsman to report this awful company.

Absolutely shocking i brought a gold necklace weight 7.65grm 5mm wide from these on ebay for £380 after 2 mnths due to the quality of gold being thin and soft broke on me after taking it off at the end of a stressful day i paid for a repair then after a few mnth it broke in a different place i paid £380 for junk and i now will avoid old english jewellers for the rest of my life and i advise other possible buyers to also do the same. I have contacted old english jewellers recently on ebay i was hoping they would offer a repair or you know at least something but they didnt hence the review.

It would appear that Old English Jewellers are stating that their rings are sterling silver 925, however they are silver plated! My ring cost me over £30 and the silver is rubbing off less than a year after purchase. Avoid at all costs. Buyer beware!

Bought a 9ct gold on silver thick chain or 6.2mm.
Had for 3 months and my shirts, shirts or polo's have rubbed the gold off the chain, I genuinely think it has been spray painted rather than rolled in a 9ct gold coating lol.....quite comical but not as listed. When raised the complaint was told dont wear in the shower, swim or let come into contact with anything. What including skin. 😅

Did not recieve correct ring size as ordered.Was unable to get an answer to my numerous emails and phone calls (get cut off when trying to ring Rob Davis who is the contact name) .Now stuck with a ring that does not fit will not purchase from this company again . No delivery note in packaging or information on returns i know it was the wrong size a jeweller sized and photograph it and i sent evidence via email.

I have paid you monies debited from my account and not received what I paid for. I have sent e-mails but response has not been forthcoming. I intend to escalate this with my bank. I think it’s truly disgusting that I have been inconvenienced and money taken from my bank account. Please people read the reviews it’s all bad and disgusting and confirms everything I have said

Avoid this company. Terrible reviews on Google and trust pilot. My experience similar to many others where the class failed after just three months and the company refused to refund or repay or replace their excuse being a limited 30-day warranty. They also ignore emails and should not be in business. Have referred to eBay and trading Standards but don't seem interested.

They sell counterfeit silver and then just ignore you it has a 925 stamp but it's cheap metal that's been plated and comes off within weeks

Update March 2025. I took the ear rings to moms as she had some silver cleaner. I thought I'd have a go at wiping them with solution. It certainly couldn't have affected the tarnished look. The ear rings were instantly showing the silver colour after a quick wipe with the solution. I feel terrible for leaving a couple of bad reviews and complaints to ebay. I think they have used something after the manufacturing process that has oxidised the metal surface giving them this awful look. My moms had the ear rings on the side for a week and they're still silver. Do accept my apologies. I have used this company for other ear rings which I had no issue with. So I was surprised with the 2nd pair and jumped to the wrong conclusion. I do believe their goods are 925 silver. I am not affiliated to the company whatsoever. I just have a conscience when I am wrong.
