I have had the BEST customer service experience with OB.
I ordered two decanters from OB as a Christmas gift for someone. Unfortunately, as is standard, there was an issue with the delivery thanks to Evri (you may have seen in the news the terrible service they provide, either “losing” parcels or parcels being stolen).
As these were gifts, and I know how long any resolution with Evri can take, I emailed OB customer services to ask for help.
Not only did they respond to each of my emails promptly, they quickly helped come up with a solution (rather than drag it out like other companies might do).
This was my first experience shopping with OB, and I will 100% be shopping with them again. Precisely how customer service should be.

I ordered 2 items for an Xmas gift and received an email 2 days later saying each item will be shipped separately. I initially called to see when the other item would be shipped and the person said its coming from Andover and could not provide a despatch date. She also was unsure what was happening to the other item which stated on my email it had been shipped. As little coherent and factual info could be provided I asked if the item being sent at some point from Andover could be refunded as it had not been despatched. I have been given notiifcation of the refund and it appears that the delivery charge I paid has been deducted. This was not explained to me at the time. I understand that free delivery is given when the customer spends over a certain value, but when customer services cannot establish when an item will be despatched, concerning me that it would not be delivered for Xmas then I do not think the customer should have postage deducted from their refund.

Although both the Bath store and customer service could not provide the ultimate result for me, what I will say is that the service received from both was gold standard.

Love everything in the shop and the Windsor staff were super friendly and helpful when I had an enquiry.
I ordered online. I have received 2 deliveries of 3 items so far with 1 delivery missing. I haven't received proper tracking information as the 1 tracking number now has turned into 3/4 deliveries. None which match the original. I enquired with customer service, AI service customer service reply was I should enquire with my local courier service. How am I suppose to do that when they haven't given me information on who the courier is or a tracking number. Also the 3 box's I have received are huge, full of packaging. Soo much waste I am actually annoyed with myself that I didn't buy local. I won't use this business again.
First time (and last) purchasing online. Upon delivery the parcels were soaking wet and both parcels open. They use Evri, cheap service and obviously used by Oliver Bonas to keep costs down. Emailed their so called customer service, insincere platitudes, not actually addressing the problems.
Last time I will ever purchase from them online and will never set foot in their shops again. A round of applause to their customer service, I am another lost customer by the look of their feedback. I shall inform everyone about the Oliver Bonas experience.
Company and products are great but they completely let themselves down by using an appalling courier service - EVRI.
Parcel not delivered after 2 weeks, I was told 3 times it would be delivered. Terrible communication and no idea what is going on.

Ordered goods costing £91 as a Christmas present for my granddaughter. To date the goods have not been received. Evri have them somewhere but they haven’t yet been sent to me. Contacted Oliver Bonas to resend my order using next day delivery. I have been told in writing to chase this up with Evri. Unfortunately they do not appear to understand their obligations. The sale is with Bonas who should now issue me with a refund or replace the goods.

Sunglasses i bought with a number of items arrived broken. Contacted OB who were unable apparently to send a new pair but would ‘refund the item’. I have just noticed they deducted £3 from their refund as I didn’t return the broken glasses to them. Despite them not offering this service…and as the customer already having paid separately for delivery. So effectively paid £3 for broken glasses to be sent out. Very poor customer service, i expected better.

I absolutely love most things at OB, the experience, the homeware, the clothes and the staff, who are always delightful. I really want to buy the brown cord jumpsuit, but OMG, the leg length is too much. I’m a regular size 14 who can do a 32” with the right footwear. But the leg length is too much, and I won’t pay £25 on top to have them altered. Real shame.
I’m having to write a review on here in the hope that someone from OB has the decency to finally communicate. My daughter applied for a seasonal job, she was interviewed over the phone then asked to attend an assessment afternoon at a large store. She is 16 so this was quite daunting but she went along and really enjoyed it. She was told she would hear back within the week, that was nearly a month ago. Presumably she had not been selected but how rude to not even tell her. She was provided with the direct email address for the recruiter at OB and so followed up after hearing nothing just asking for feedback. Total silence and not even an acknowledgment or apology. Not a great example to be setting to our next generation of workers. Come on OB surely you can do much better than this.

The actual product was okay.
Unfortunately they use EVRI for deliveries.
EVRI delivery agents always seem to ignore instructions for delivery, just chuck the box against the front door, take photo and go.
As we ordered jewellery, EVRI said they would return up to three times to ensure delivery.
Nope....just chucked box on step of our front door, took photo and went.
We got delivery confirmation including image of box of jewelry chucked against the front door and we were over four hour drive away.
Had to get 87 year mother to drive over to get the box before someone stole it.
Never again.

I ordered something for my sister for Christmas, but unfortunately it didn’t arrive in the store before the last date I could spare to go shopping without the children. Given that it was glass, I went into the shop anyway and found the item I wanted and not quite the same as a thing but something I knew would go down well. The sales assistant had said to me on the telephone that they would help me and they definitely did. She went through a recent delivery of jewelry hoping that she could find something I liked and this morning when I receive the email to say my item was in store I almost immediately received one to say it had been returned to the depot so that the refund process of my original order could start. I am sure I was one of the more time-consuming customers that day but the staff member at the Plymouth store was fantastic. And it was much better for me not having to carry a glass present home with two children excited about Christmas!
Ordered 3 jumpers for presents and despite getting delivery time from evri the parcel failed day after day after day. OB seems to think it’s my job to chase Evri and even though tracking stopped I am expected to wait yet another week for refund. They keep sending me the exact same email every day saying it should be delivered today . Of course this never happens so I contact them and next day get email saying it’s coming today - and so it goes on and on and on and on ………Dire customer service and at this time of year I cannot afford to be so much out of pocket because I now have to rebuy goods elsewhere and you STILL OWE ME MONEY . SORT IT OUT and don’t order unless you have time and energy to wait if the courier loses the goods .

So disappointed. I’ve been looking at the ola dusky pink accent chair for 2 years and at last it was in the sale. Couldn’t believe it when I tried to order one. No deliveries to Scotland…. I couldn’t get it delivered to our home address, to the oliver Bonas shop and I could not buy one at the sale price inspite of availability . I believe this must be an ombudsman issue as it’s on sale, available, yet I couldn’t buy one nor would they honour the price and have it delivered at a later date. I’m so disappointed

Bought brown corduroy trousers. I am normally a 12 but bought a 10 to allow for stretch. However within 3 days they have stretched so much that they look awful. At the waist I know have a 7cm gap. I doubt Oliver Bonus will take them back as I have worn them but it has been a waste of money for me....
I can’t praise Oliver Bonas highly enough. I ordered glasses for a birthday present, the glasses weren’t delivered, they then sent me another set of glasses. I had to sign a disclaimer that if the glasses turned up I would inform them. 2 weeks later the original glasses turned up. I informed Oliver Bonas that I’d now received the glasses & when the 2nd set turned up, I offered to pay for them rather than return. The’ve just emailed & said I could keep the glasses. How generous! Thank you so much. 👏👏👏
When my order got mislaid by the courier, Oliver Bonas immediately despatched a replacement. Communication and customer service throughout was impeccable. Cannot praise them - and their products - highly enough!
Unique products that brighten any home and wardrobe; the pricing is a fair representation of the quality (given that everything seemingly costs a pretty penny these days).
This is the first time I have brought from Oliver Bonas and I have to say well impressed , from my online purchase of dog lead , treat pouch , dog towel and poop bag carrier , the emails / communications to picking up my purchases in store at the Balham branch has been effortless, the store was lovely and clean and I was amazed as soon as I walked in I was approached by an assistant to ask if I needed help so welcoming and friendly , talk about make my day.
Then I get home with my purchases and could tell instantly everything was wrapped up with care .
Oliver bonas is my go to shop now , they certainly put all the others to shame , well done Oliver bonas in Balham .
