Master Unlimited Orals Preparation
I chose Onboard Maritime for my master unlimited orals preparation after receiving a recommendation from a friend.
After passing my exam first time, I can certainly recommend them to anyone who is considering going up for an MCA oral exam.
The course is a combination of self-study and flipped classroom style live sessions.
For the self study, you are provided with all the resources you need to help you prepare for your exam. The materials are accessed through an easy to use app which contains everything you will need to know and more!
The flipped classroom style live sessions really help get you into the right frame of mind before going up for your exam.
You are given a timetable so you know the topics that will be covered prior to each session.
The lectures then ask you orals style questions related to the topics you have studied and guide you through your answers with constructive feedback.
The live sessions are recorded to allow you to access them again as many times as you need to help you in areas where you feel you need to work on.
The lectures Iain, Angus and Phillip are all fantastic at what they do! They have a vast knowledge and experience which gets you to a level beyond where you need to be by the time your exam date comes around.

Onboard Maritime for OOW Unlimited
I worked with Onboard Maritime while studying for my OOW Unlimited Part A and B. Iain and Phil's daily tutorials provided a interesting and friendly environment to learn. All the lessons went in to a good amount of depth without being overwhelming. I felt my progression was very steady due to this and I felt very ready to sit my exams which I passed first time.
The learning materials available on the website is good quality and also covers all the topics at the appropriate level.
I will definitely look at signing up for the Onboard Maritime Chief Mates prep courses when the time comes.
