My name is Ava Hawkins, and I am a current Founder and student at Oneday. This program, has genuinely ignited my entrepreneurial spirit. From the very first squad session, (well second squad I got the time zones kinda mixed up) I felt like I belonged to a supportive community that truly values creativity and innovation. What made my journey even more meaningful was my mentor, Mk.

Mk has been an incredible source of encouragement for me. His patience and unwavering belief in my potential have helped me navigate through tough times. I’ve also appreciated the small class size, which fosters authentic connections and collaboration with other founders who understand the ups and downs of this journey.

If you’re considering starting a startup, I wholeheartedly recommend Oneday. It’s not just a program; it’s a launchpad for your startup. Well just a few shoutout's to people that completely change my life & how I see business, people & even mentoring.

1. Having people that believe in you is incredible, so starting with Juan Linares who interviewed me, he believed in me as a young entrepreneur. This means a lot to me, especially when you know you venture into something you have no clue about, or little clue about.
2. then Mia Bennett's help for most of the MBA up until now, has helped me do quite a few huge mind shifts to become more pragmatic about my business, as well as assessing my product, service, marketing & sales experimenting to name a few. Also, never have I felt inferior interacting with her & in the business space I have met mentors (outside OneDay) that would treat you like you know nothing. From, Mia, I got the complete opposite, pulling out the inner value & bringing forth my current skills & expanding my skills. Not to say the fact that she helped me personalise my business goals, based on my values & alignment with my values. Just incredible.
3. Then Mary Lemmer my current mentor, from the first days she guided me in such a powerful way to believe in my coaching & how to set expectations around my goals, as well as practical "hands-on" help with marketing & sales. I am really grateful for her and cannot thank her enough for the transformations she is taking me through right now :)
4. Mike for his incredible "out-of-scope" help in seeing through his journey as an entrepreneur & making some extra time.

Now, I can understand this is not "the norm" for mentors to do it & I was, but there are mentors who are incredibly dedicated & it is amazing to see that.

The curriculum definitely helps you get the knowledge you need to get out there & try things out so experience being an entrepreneur & making a high-quality product, service or brand.

The community is also fantastic.

I joined the OneDay programme in June 2023 and I'm now in the last few months of the course. Being a founder is lonely and OneDay has provided a community of like minded people along with the guidance of SO many experts who have been there and done that (1,000x over, every situation you could imagine, no gatekeeping). My mentor is Robert Manasier and he has gone above and beyond to help me progress. There have been a number of glitches in functionality/usability but the systems are constantly improving and there is always someone to ask for help so I have no real complaints. The structure of the course has given me accountability and momentum through several stages where quitting would have been too easy and it's never felt like too much work. Due to other commitments I've only dipped in and out of the extra curricular materials on the database but I still feel I've gotten more than my monies worth and I'm now feeling really positive about finishing the course with a great foundation for success and a list of very useful contacts in my network! Would strongly recommend to anyone who is serious about becoming their own boss!

Knowledge is power, applied knowledge is wisdom.
Before I started the oneday program, everything was just ideas in the air, now I have validated them , I have made them tangible, I have a company now.
Everything I am learning throughout the program, I am implementing it within my business and also my personal life! I have improved a lot since I started this program, I am glad I took the chance and joined. I am happy about my decision, and cannot recommend enough for all the inventors, creatives, problem solvers out there.

So far, concluding my first module in the OneDay program, I could not be more pleased with the experience. My 121 meetings with my supportive mentor, Mary L., whom started her journey with a gilato business, are so inspiring to early entrepreneurs like myself. Mutually, our squad meetings have been rewarding, as participants are been able connect with a cohort of thinkers from around the world whom all share similar goals. Rich Jewell, amongst many others have been encouraging voices that motivate our cohort of innovators to become more successful or reach market as quickly as possible. Definitely an experience that I would recommend to any early entrepreneur, as a life long learner achieving a B.S., M.Ed., M.S.Ed., and now pursuing a M.B.A. Check out the OneDay program. It’s been 5 months since I joined the program, and it’s been an awesome journey so far! The combination of good structure and mentorship makes it much clearer to start your business and navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Proven policies/strategies that work! From a team of mentors who have built it, grown it and sold it for millions! More than once in most cases! So, what are ya waiting for?

I have the best mentor, shoutout to John Boese! The best, meaning he is honest and constructive while sincerely being invested EVERY time we meet. I experience being a valued founder at Oneday.

I have been in the program for 8 months. I am so grateful I had the guts to take this opportunity. It is changing my life. The work is challenging in a new and exciting way. I feel supported by the squad and our mentor. We are all invested in each other's success. We continue to grow as entrepreneurs every day. Being a part of the OneDay community is a privilege. What makes Oneday so special as a practical learning experience is not only the vast number of successful founders available to help, but the personal support has been amazing. I'm also caring for a sick mother at home, so having that understanding and compassion for meeting deadlines and also making sure work is being delivered has been excellent. I have been on the MBA programme for just under a year and I have gone from just having a concept to having a real business. It has really helped me a lot especially the mentoring.

Great program if I knew about oneday earlier it could have save me at least 2m usd over the pas 20 years. I filled many initiatives.

I am really grateful that when I unavoidably had to switch mentors but they were patient with me to match a new mentor to my schedule! I’m greatly benefiting from this MBA program, learning invaluable lessons about entrepreneurship. The foresight gained here on what strategies might or might not work before making significant investments is a game-changer.

Moreover, the opportunity to expand my network with like-minded individuals who offer unwavering support is perhaps the most transformative aspect of this experience.

I usually just leave positive reviews, hence the name (happy customer), but felt the need to share the following.

My experience with OneDay was a mixed bag. On the positive side, their templates and business setup are impressive, providing a solid foundation. The mentor assigned was knowledgeable, but our communication styles didn't align, leading me to seek a coach with a more personalised approach.

The sessions felt transactional, lacking genuine care for individual success, a common pitfall in such paid services. The best coaches, in my opinion, are those genuinely invested in your success, offering tailored support and materials.

What surprised me most was the abrupt shift in team responsiveness after cancelling my membership. Individuals I connected with seemed to vanish, leaving me feeling ignored and like the past 9 months was a waste of time. As one of my goals of joining OneDay was to build connections with likeminded individuals (trying to start a business). Perhaps it's part of OneDay's policy, but I expected a more human touch, I guess even a business that aims to help people is still a business-focused service. In the end, the lack of personalised care led me to terminate my contract, I don’t feel like I was valued as a paying client and will never recommend nor return to using their service.
