My name is Jeronimo Mora and I found out about OVS from a classmate and so I tried it out for Calculus and Vectors MCV4U-25. My experience was amazing the lessons were well explained and organized and had great examples. As well as my relationship with the teacher and communication was amazing and always felt heard about any incovenience I had was instanly solved. So from my experience I completely reccomend OVS for any student looking to expand their education.

I had a pleasant experience with Ontario Virtual School. I did Grade 12 Chemistry (SCH4U), and all of the lessons were straight forward and easy to follow. The teacher explained very clearly and well, with additional examples and videos to further my understanding. The work was fairly simple as well, as they consisted of all labs, but I would prefer doing a variety of work related to chemistry rather than labs all of the time. My teacher graded my work and responded to my emails within 1-2 business days, and I enjoyed the dedication and work that my teacher put out to grade my work. It was easy to add on OVS onto my OUAC and understand the different deadlines because OVS sends out announcements with instructions. Overall, I would definitely recommend OVS to my friends and family.

I was really nervous about using online schooling after some unpleasant experiences during Covid, but learning chemistry through OVS was extremely easy and fun! My teacher’s lessons were entertaining and he answered my questions diligently and fully. They gave me the support and confidence that I needed to feel prepared for my oncoming course. OVS is an excellent program and I really recommend them!

I had a great experience completing ENG3U through OVS. The course was well organized, and the lessons were clear and easy to follow, making it simple to stay on track. The assessments were varied and allowed me to demonstrate my understanding in different ways. My teacher provided helpful feedback and responded to emails in a timely manner. I finished the course with a 98%, and i'm very grateful for the support and quality of education received. I would definitely recommend OVS to anyone looking for a well structured and flexible way to earn high school credits.

All systems were extremely easy to use, the lessons made sense and I enjoyed how everything was asynchronous. I would just recommend that tests be shorter, maybe 5-6 pages instead of 8.

I took ENG3U during the year and I was very pleased with my final grade. The support and tools offered, as well as my teacher being very prompt in responding and grading, all contributed towards my high achievement.
The assignments were just the right amount of challenging, and the instructions were always clear.
I enjoyed it so much, I enrolled in ENG4U for this summer!!!

As a homeschooled student looking for six grade 12 credits to apply to university, OVS has been a perfect fit for me and nothing but a positive experience. The support is readily available and the communication system between teachers has been top tier compared to other online platforms I have tried. The teaching staff is truly exceptional as well with all marks being returned in 24-48 hours!

For ENG4U, I had Mr. Ford and he was so patient and kind, always willing to provide help and feedback about assignments. Although this course was administered online, he makes an effort in student/teacher interactions making the learning experience so much more personal. He marks work quickly and always leaves constructive comments that have helped me grow in my writing style.

I also completed SBI4U through OVS and had Ms. Layne as my teacher. She answered my numerous questions patiently and thoroughly allowing me to deepen my understanding about this subject. She grades assignments promptly and fairly and has really helped me enjoy learning about biology!

I have had such a great experience with OVS that I am already enrolled in another course and have recommended this platform to numerous friends/family who have also had positive experiences. OVS was truly worth every penny!

I definitely reccomend OVS to anybody looking to take online classes. (I have previously referred multuple of my friends, too) I took their Grade 12 physics course (SPH4U) with Ms. Vanderkamp and she is a great teacher. She responds to emails very quickly, with detailed answers and care. She also grades fairly and within the 48 hour window that OVS promises. (Sometimes she even grades on weekends, despite the fact that weekends are not included in the 48 hour promise, outstanding!) She also consistently left a lot of helpful feedback, and explained where every mark or deduction came from.

The lessons were not too long, and the overall organisation of the course was fantastic. Each unit had no more than 15 lessons, and each lesson was at most an hour. I liked how I could pause and take notes whenever I wanted, and the educational videos embedded in the lessons were very helpful for visualising difficult concepts. I also appreciated how the website tracks your progress, reminding you which lessons you have completed and which assignments are required for mid-term or final report cards. Furthermore, the tests are very fair and the questions touch only upon the course material covered in the lessons, making it challenging but not impossible. Overall a good experience and I was able to achieve the mark I wanted! :)

Just finished MCV4U (Calculus & Vectors) with OVS and overall it was a really solid experience. As expected for a university-level math course, it was definitely challenging, but the lessons genuinely helped me work through the material and understand it properly. I think this format would be especially helpful for anyone who struggles to focus in a traditional in-person classroom and wants the freedom to learn at their own pace. The lessons and materials were well organized, and assessments had good variety instead of being just multiple choice. Marking was honestly one of the best parts, everything came back within 2-3 days, even the exam and final assessments which I did toward the end of the course when things get more hectic. It was really reassuring knowing the teachers marked just as fast regardless of timing. Admin support was responsive too, and report card processing was fast, which mattered a lot since I needed mine quickly for a university conditional offer. Would definitely recommend OVS, especially if you prefer learning independently.

The quality of lessons at OVS were amazing. I was able to learn so much virtually and had no trouble getting assistance when I needed it. My teacher always returned my tests in a very fast manner, and she always provided great feedback. I would definitely recommend OVS!

I took MCV4U-31. Marking would be very quick. If I had any questions the replies would also be very quick. Overall, great learning experience.

I took OVS for Calculus. My experience was amazing. OVS comes with tons of flexibility as the teachers were quick at grading and responded to emails within hours. Payment was also easy as the price was what was displayed with no hidden fees. I 100% recommend.

I recently completed HFA4U through Ontario Virtual School and had a very positive experience. The course was well-structured, engaging, and easy to navigate, allowing me to learn independently while still feeling supported throughout the course.

My teacher, Ms. Lakhani, played a significant role in my success. She provided detailed and constructive feedback on assignments that helped me improve my work and better understand the material. Her responses to emails were timely, and assignments were returned quickly with helpful comments.

The lessons and learning materials were clear and well organized. I also appreciated the variety of assessments, including assignments, projects, and written work rather than only multiple-choice tests, which allowed me to demonstrate my understanding in different ways.

I took the MCV4U course for OVS. Choosing Ontario Virtual School was one of the best decisions I made during my senior year. It allowed me to work at my own pace, rather then having to work at the fast pace that I would have had to follow in my day school. The quality of the lesssons was outstanding. Each concept is explained very clearly, and there are multiple follow up questions within the lessons in order to ensure understanding. The teachers work very hard to get back to you ASAP. I never had to wait more then 3 days to receive an email or mark back from my teacher. The assessments also challange the student to think, as they are not just multiple choice, there are a variety of different questions for each test ensuring students learn all concepts. Using the methods provided by OVS I was able to achieve my desired mark, while also following and understanding the course fully.
