No gas cartridges after storm
4 days after storm eowyn, no electricity, ran out of gas cartridges. The only shop that had in stock was Outdoor Adventure Store. Ordered 2 online, delivered by An Post next day to Achill Island. Considering the circumstances I think that's amazing service. Thank you!

Bought a Stanley food flask for work /…
Bought a Stanley food flask for work / scout trips and some hand soap leaves for scout trips and festivals. All came well wrapped and with a handy little carrier bag. Postage was a little slow but that's not anything to do with OAS. Good prices and great support Irish companies.

Hi Hannah, I am very sorry you have not received your order yet. I just looked into your tracking link with Anpost and apparently they mistakenly sent it to the wrong DSU. They are still working to get it back to you so should be with you soon.

Magic roundabout
My order went from bray to dublin and back to bray twice. I don't live in either location. Usually there is no problem but this is just so annoying.

Hi John, apologies about this error. If you check your tracking link it was actually Anpost who accidentally sent your parcel to the wrong DSU so it got sent back to the Bray DSU to be sent out again. Due to the busy time over the holidays and now severe weather conditions there has been some delays and a slight mixed up must have occured due to the amount of orders they have had in the past couple of weeks. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Order malfunction!
I ordered hiking boots that were listed as 'in stock' on their website + 4 items in relation to the boots (boot wax, socks etc). Turns out they didn't have the boots in stock but accepted payment and sent the, now useless, 4 items. Unfortunately it was too late to recall the 4 items and I still paid full delivery for the partial order, which is extremely frustrating.
That's a bit of a c*ckup but the customer service was very friendly, promptly responded to emails and calls and refunded the price of the boots.
Still... Sending the boot wax without the boots. Idk what to say really apart from 'what!?'.
In the future don't send incomplete orders without asking the customer and update the website so it actually reflects what's in stock.

Hi Mads, I am very sorry that this was your experience with us. The payment got accepted when you made the order because the system thought we had it in stock when this was actually false. We sent out the rest of the items because we thought you might still like them to use on a different pair. We will ensure this does not happen again. I am very sorry about this mistake.
