Das ist der unfähigste und…

Das ist der unfähigste und inkompetenteste Schmutzverein, den es auf diesem Planeten gibt. Hier herrschen Unfähigkeit, Inkompetenz und Dummheit in einem Maße vor, für das man neue Skalen einführen müsste.
Lastschriftkonten werden grundsätzlich einfach nicht validiert oder abgelehnt, obwohl diese sogar über das Online-Banking freigeschaltet worden sind. Für mich ist das hochgradig kriminell und nichts weiter als reines Datenabgreifen.
Zudem muss man bei diesem Verein permanent in Vorkasse gehen, was kein seriöser Anbieter verlangt. Zu guter Letzt trifft man auf Support-Mitarbeiter, deren Intelligenz offensichtlich der einer Kartoffel ähnelt. Außer Textbausteinen und sinnlosen Antworten, die überhaupt nichts mit dem Problem zu tun haben, gehört dort nichts zur Tagesordnung.
Ich dachte schon, dass Kleinanzeigen der unfähigste und inkompetenteste Verein sei, aber dieser Laden hier toppt noch mal alles. Ich kann nur ganz klar, deutlich und unmissverständlich sagen: Geht nicht zu diesem kriminellen und inkompetenten Verein! Es gibt zahlreiche andere seriöse „Pay-as-you-go“-Anbieter, die ein Bankkonto akzeptieren und bei denen man am Monatsende eine Rechnung bekommt. Dieser Verein schafft das nicht.
Und wenn man dann mal eine Bestellung durchgeführt hat oder durchführen möchte, sind sie 25-mal zu unfähig, eine Datei zu lesen. Entweder ist sie zu groß, dann zu klein oder angeblich fehlerhaft. Dann gibt es wieder technische Probleme. Wer so einen Verein für seriös oder kompetent hält, ist echt verloren.

Mafia-Methoden!

Trotz Kündigung und Domain-Transfer am 1.10.2025 wurden 246€ für Domains abgebucht, die noch Monate Laufzeit hatten. PayPal-Käuferschutz versagt, OVH ignoriert Kündigung.

trotz erfolgter zahlung, keine gegenleistung: anwalt nötig.

mir wird seit vielen wochen der zugang zu meinem kundenaccount verunmöglicht, ich hatte eine zahlungsfrist versäumt, wobei das geld auf dem ovh-prepaid-account lag, zu dem ich aber keinen zugang mehr hatte. d.h. ovh selber verunmöglichte die zahlung. nach unfassbar komplizierter mail-korrespondenz u telefonie holte sich ovh das geld vom prepaid account. 0,01.- euro fehlten, erneuter kompliziertester zirkus. schlie0ßlich hatten sie das gesamte geld, trotzdem erhalte ich keinen zugang zu webmaiul u kundenaccount. auch ein mittlerweile zugezogener IT-experte kommt nicht weiter, dennnach dem log in künfigt man einen securitcode an die emailadresse des accounts an. was aber nicht erfolgt. sprich: ovh verhindert das login
das kundenservice ist unterirdisch unfähig. ich möchte nur noch weg von ovh und denke nun daran einen anwalt beizuziehen, denn es geht auch um geschäftskorrespondenz, die mir nicht mehr zugänglich ist. unfassbar.

Inkompetent oder schlimmer

2021 hat diese "Firma" den Cloud Computing Anbieter Shadow gekauft. Seither hat sich außer einer massiven Preiserhöhung nichts gebessert, aber der Reihe nach.

1. Die vorgefertigten VDIs werden mit der veralteten Windows 11 Version 23H2 ausgeliefert. Diese erhält seit November letzten Jahres keine Sicherheitsupdates mehr.

2. Seit Jahren besteht das Problem, dass das Windows in den ausgelieferten VDIs nicht aktiviert ist. Dies muss umständlich via Telefon bzw. SLUI.exe 4 und dann online durchgeführt werden. Klappt nicht immer, bei meinem letzten Versuch benötigte ich 4 Versuche, bis es schlussendlich funktionierte. Und nein, ich bin nicht zu dumm Zahlen abzutippen.

3. Angeschlossene Peripherie funktioniert nicht immer. So wird mein XBox Series Controller vom Mac anstandslos erkannt und funktioniert, bei Shadow wird er zwar als XBox 360 Controller erkannt, tut jedoch nix. Der Treiber für die USB Weiterleitung ist selbstredend installiert.

4. Die Performance unter Linux ist lausig.

Kurzum, ich habe den Eindruck von entwegen vorsätzlicher Kriminalität (siehe Windows Lizenzen) oder absoluter Inkompetenz. Mein Abo werde ich kündigen und eine Beschwerde bei der Verbraucherzentrale einreichen, auch wenn diese vermutlich nichts bringt.

OVHcloud ist der beste Anbieter wenn es um Domain, Server und Websites geht.
OVH hat auch einen sehr zuverlässigen Support und das Verwalten der Produkte ist kinderleicht. Ich kann OVHcloud einfach nur weiter empfehlen.

Zahlungsverarbeitungsgeschwindigkeit verbesserungswürdig

Ich habe am 09.01 einen Server bei OVH bestellt.
Eine Zahlung per Kreditkarte war nicht möglich "Internal server error", also habe ich paar Minuten später Überwiesen. Wohlgemerkt von einem deutschen zu einem deutschen Konto.
Nachdem es seitdem heisst "Payment not received" habe ich mit der Hotline gechattet und den Überweisungbeleg übermittelt.
Dennoch hiess es dass es drei Tage dauern kann. Wobei mir die Mitarbeiterin nicht sagen konnte ob es Kalendertage oder Banktage sind.

Heute ist der 16. also glatte 7 Tage später und es heisst immer noch "Payment not received"

Das ist nicht das was ich erwarte

Es wird noch besser - heute ist nicht einmal die Hotline erreichbar. Es gibt nur einen unintelligenten Chatbot der auf die FAQ verweist und dann "Thank you for contacting OVHcloud" hinschreibt.

So was soll ein seriöser und zuverlässiger Hoster sein?
Ernsthaft?

Nice hosting provider with really good…

Nice hosting provider with really good special offers!

In the past i had mixed experience with OVH, but this seem to have changed in recent years.
Their special offers (especially Kimsufi dedicated servers) are one of the best or maybe event the best offers in the whole world.
Additionally they have a pro-active monitoring to resolve hardware issues when needed.
I'm using OVH starting from this year again and had no issues at all.

Can totally recommend the provider to anyone!

Beste cloud provider die ik tot nu toe heb ervaren!

Heb een dedicated server gehuurd, uitstekend! Goed internet, uptime, en prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend vergeleken met andere providers. Zelfs voor standaard support is het al goed, had laatst een incident op server, ovhcloud merkte dat, kreeg gelijk een mail dat een technicus onderweg was om te checken op server, nog nooit zo een goede support gehad. Bedankt OVH en raadt ze zeker aan!

OVH Deutschland existiert nicht mehr.

OVH ist per mail nicht mehr erreichbar.
Es gibt nur noch telefonischen Support in englischer Sprache.
Ich habe ein verfügbares Produkt bestellt und auch sofort bezahlt aber keine Bestätigung per mail erhalten.
Dann heisst es, es dauert noch ca. einen Monat.
Mit viel hin und her wurde der Auftrag storniert.
Doch mein Geld werde ich nicht wieder bekommen.
Auf meine Frage ob die deutsche Firma noch existiert wurde mir bestätigt das sie nicht mehr existiert.
Das ist die Antwort vom Support .DE und .COM :
"We would like to inform you that this mailbox is no longer in use and your email will not be reviewed by the OVHcloud support team."

Wrongfully terminated by their legal department, being ignored

Ordered a VPS as a load balancer. Was working perfectly for a week. Earlier had a support request and it was very fast. Until on 20th Nov 2025 my VPS got terminated due to "breach of contract". As logs and explanation they said that I was [allegedly] DDoSing an IP address. Can you guess which IP address I "DDoSed"? MY OWN! The IP address of a host that I OWN AND MANAGE. I have an HTTP endpoint on that host which resolves back to my OVH account, yet no response and no reaction. Support says "we can't do anything, decisions by legal department are irrevocable". I wrote a letter to their legal department, being ignored for 3 days (that would be okay for some inquiry, but that's downtime, not just some problem). Their super fast support disappeared AS SOON as I asked them to ping legal department so they can get back to my case faster, as it's an urgent matter.

Please, don't do business and don't trust this company. They tell that they protect you but then their automatic system falsely decides that you're violating something and you're done.

UPDATE: 5 days later, they still ignore me everywhere. The support team here, on TrustPilot asked me for details and VANIHSED as well as soon as I gave my account ID and NIC handle. Just no response at all. Reddit gave same result. Replied to my post within a few hours, gave them my NIC handle, account ID and name in PMs, they first got the wrong VPS and said that the matter was resolved. As soon as I corrected that they had the wrong VPS and pointed them (again) to the terminated VPS, they ghosted me. Unbelievable

I confirm the information you received via the open support tickets. When a VPS is in its first month of activation, if the anti-hacking system is triggered three times due to detected illegitimate traffic, this results in a breach of contract.

During the first anti-hacking activation, if you considered the traffic detected by the anti-hacking system to be legitimate, you could contact us so we could perform an analysis and adjust the anti-hacking detection thresholds, for example.

If you subscribe to a new VPS, we could do this, and a refund for the first VPS with a breach of contract would be possible.

To be honest

To be honest, I'm really annoyed with OVH/customer service. Every request/action takes days, and often the responses from customer service are useless because they are not helpful and often require multiple follow-up questions.

I currently have the following problem: I rented a server in Germany at the Limburg data center from OVH Global via OVH Netherlands Amsterdam and a server in France at the Roubaix data center, where I rented both servers. I connected them with a VRACK so that both can communicate via a private network. At the time, I didn't realize that if I rented an additional server in the US, I wouldn't be able to integrate it into the existing VRACK because the OVH website advertises that the VRACK service can communicate globally and across data center and country borders, but it didn't specify that this is only possible if all servers are booked via OVH US LLC , i.e., the American OVH branch. So I booked my storage server with OVH Netherlands in Limburg with a contract term and a discount.
Unfortunately, I now have to cancel all servers at OVH Global Netherlands with special termination and then rebook all servers at OVH US LLC. Unfortunately, OVH Global customer service is either incompetent or does not understand what I want from them. I opened a ticket and requested a special cancellation because it is not possible to connect the German server to the French and US servers with the VRACK service without OVH Cloud Connect, and that is simply too expensive just to replace the free VRACK service.

I'm just annoyed that I'm forced to cancel all servers because of the poor advertising/information about the OVH VRACK service on the OVH website. If OVH had clearly and openly stated on the website that the VRACK service/ adding US servers is not possible unless all servers are booked through OVH US LLC, I would have booked all servers directly through the US branch and I would not now have the hassle with support and would not have to argue about a special termination. I also do not understand why support does not simply approve the special termination, since I am remaining loyal to the company and am simply rebooking with the other branch and not switch to the competition.

These errors, the effort and annoyance could have been avoided with decent and accurate information. I now have to have everything sorted out before November 15, 2025, and rebook all servers so that I can copy all data from the old storage server to the new one without data loss and without having to pay for the old storage server for another month and can book the new one directly.

I am still hoping to find a solution so that I can rebook my server with all discounts at OVH US LLC.

This concerns the OVH account sf861747-ovh and ticket CS12635115.

Addendum: The ticket has been open since November 1, 2025. Today is already November 13, 2025, and unfortunately there has been no clarification to date, even though it escalated days ago, according to the ticket handler.
The day after tomorrow, on November 15, 2025, the server must be paid for again for another month, and if the server is deactivated because no new payment is made, I will not be able to transfer my data because it takes up to 72 hours for the new server to be provided, plus 2-5 days for data transfer.

I hope OVH finally gets everything sorted out and can credit me a few days for the server as a gesture of goodwill so that it runs longer than November 15, 2025, and I can transfer the data after receiving the new server.
