Their barefoot shoes are a scam. You can buy the exact same shoes on Amazon for 1/3 of the price.

Pretends to be local with its name when goods are actually shipped from Mainland China. Delivery took 9 days. Communication is unclear and irritating rather than illuminating. I received the product yesterday, but cannot keep it as the shape squashes my toes and I find the quality rather disappointing. Now I'm waiting for a response from the company on where to return the product. They have chosen a catchy name "Painfree Aussies" and included eye shades as a gift, but more attention to product quality, clear communication and delivery is needed.
However, the company promptly refunded my payment, which is why I increased the stars from 1 to 3.

My first parcel was lost, and in order to get a replacement from Painfreeraussies I was assisted by Sam (customer care representative). Sam is surely the most professional, friendly and helpful person I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I live in New Zealand, and I am ashamed at at our poor customer care over here, and I wish Sam could come and teach our people a thing or two. Give this company a fair chance, and stop criticizing them for not being an onshore Aussie company, they know what they are doing, and their products are damn good!

I was initially hesitant about purchasing from this company, but they completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment the chair arrived, it was clear that a lot of care had gone into both the design and build quality. The barefoot shoes are nothing like what they portray in the photo. The material made from the shoes is some kind of toxic man-made fibre that has a horrible smell which would just absorb into my feet. The sizing is all wrong and I regret buying these I am very very unhappy.

Too expensive. You can get the exact same shoe on Temu for less than half the price. These are not quality shoes but OK for beach if you are paying Temu prices. Painfreeaussies sell the exact same shoe two pairs for $90.00. Temu sell 1 pair for $17.53. Do the math.

Looks like a scam. It’s been 10 days since I ordered a product from them. Their tracking shows some movement and says it’s close to my place, but the Aramex tracking says, “Sender is preparing your parcel for pick-up.”
I called them – no one answers the phone. I wrote to them – nothing.

Do not trust this company.

They offer a 30 day money back guarenteee but ignored every email I sent. Eventually I called and spoke to an Asian lady who could not speak English and would hang up every time i phoned. Thr shoes cost $100 but the quality was worse than the cheapest K-mart $10 shoes. Never got a refund. After my experience, certain positive reviews on their website are fake.
UPDATE 17.01.2026 one year after making the purchase the company has reached out, seeking purchase information.

Honestly, this company has given me nothing but the best service. I had a query about delivery and was contacted on Boxing Day by phone. Esha was so polite, reassuring and professional. Now, tell me any other company you know that would contact you on a public holiday!
The item proved unsuitable for me and the exchange process was once again, a very positive experience. Please shop with absolute confidence.

After one month still no product
The tracking number is false
They have told me they refunded me yet still have not.
I contacted them nurmerous times only to be told we are looking into it. A month later no refund just another false lead

Have ordered twice through painfreeaussies. Happy with the quality of the products. First time I had no issues. The second time I only received one of two pillows but once I contacted them they sorted it out seamlessly and got the missing item to me quickly and in time for Christmas. The service was great.

Works well for my elderly father.
He is not as mobile as before so can get bed sore type wounds.
Since sitting on these pads it certainly has helped him lot sitting down for long stretches much less injury and way more comfort for him

This company is not Australian, they are from China, please don't purchase from them, I'm trying to get my money back for a pair of poor manufactured shoes, that were so uncomfortable. Don't listen to good reviews they are most likely made up. I went through Paypal with a dispute, pain free aussies told me to withdraw the dispute or they would not return my money, I still haven't received my refund. Someone with a Chinese voice keeps calling my mobile & my husband's mobile, I have now blocked them. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS NOT AUSTRALIAN COMPANY.

I have already left a good positive review. I just need to leave another one. With all these barefoot companys have a rubbish 75% off sale they are showing that the shoes RRP are $280 upwards. With this 75% off you are saving which incorrect.
Painfree are a true price not maked up for sales or showing fake RRP and a fantastic friendly helpful team.

I am a super healthy 74yr old male; the result of both resistance and aerobic training in the gym for 60 years. During the last 3 months I cannot believe the enhanced feeling of comfort and enjoyment of training since replacing the traditional brand running/fitness shoes (with thick, poorly flexible soles) with my recently purchased Non-Slip Barefoot Shoes for Healthy Feet (Unisex) from Pain Free Aussies. These shoes with non -slip super flexible “all feeling" soles, are a must for serious training in the gym.

I have never had better or more responsive communication from a retailer. They sent a return paid label after I bought the wrong size boot, and are happily sendng me the correct size.
