My fussy dog now can’t wait to his dinner and also helped with his digestion issues. Only think keeping it from a 5 star is the packaging, it gets a bit soggy and leaks, but I just use a Tupperware. I’d love if you did smaller portions for freezing and travelling one day!

I have been a loyal customer for one year, ordering approx £50-70 per week of food for our rottweiler. The last two weeks there have been issues with the deliveries. They have changed their packaging and no longer send the thick, insulated wool layer and no longer include ice. This has meant two lots of deliveries were defrosted. The usual staff member we deal with has always been very helpful when we have had issues, but I was really unimpressed with the patronising way emails were answered by another member of staff. I am such a loyal customer. Once I find something I like I stick with it, however I have now cancelled my subscription and will find a new supplier. Paleo Ridge isn't what it was and I will no longer recommend them.

Started with Paleo on the recommendation of a friend and my dog absolutely loves it.

Where he would often not eat food when put down until later on now he gets super excited and it’s gone as soon as I put it down.

It’s also cleared up an allergy he had and is very competitively priced against other brands too with a reward scheme to build up points.

Absolutely great product, Ted my Norfolk Terrier loves the variety. We have given him Paleo Ridge from a puppy, he is now 5 years old. Gorgeous coat that everyone remarks on, healthy strong teeth without plaques. Great customer service.

I have had trouble with around half their deliveries, they either get dropped at the wrong place or are defrosted when dropped and hence unusable. I've never felt it's fair to complain about that, because I think that's the couriers fault. But I received an email from their customer service the other day saying that they didn't have the chicken in stock for my order and asking what I'd like to do. I said that was fine, just top it up with the other two selections that I normally have. After it arrived, I noticed that I'd been charged for the chicken still, which was a nominal amount more. When I asked them to rectify it, they asked for an order sheet - there was none in the box. Then they asked me to go in my freezer and count how many items had been sent. I draw the line at this, as they have the email trail and surely know what they sent?

I have been using Paleo Ridge for over five years now and I am extremely pleased with the service I receive. The meat is high quality, ethical and properly balanced as 80-10-10. My dog loves it and he remains fit and healthy, with a good digestion, healthy gut and shiny coat.
It is convenient to receive the delivery the next day and the packaging keeps if frozen and is recyclable.
I would highly recommend Paleo Ridge to anyone wanting feed raw.

Paleo ridge have always done there very best. They have excellent customer support and a helpful down to earth not cold corporate but still efficient way. Their products are enjoyed by my boy and I know many handlers who have the choice to go elsewhere but stick with Paleo for all of the above reasons. If they did other product sectors I'd swap to them for that too. They are growing but keeping the good stuff whilst improving every step. I'd even prefer to deal with the Paleo of 2 years ago over any other supplier but the improvements only serve to make dealing with them a no brainer

My Bernedoodle, Ron, wasn’t loving his raw diet until we switched to Paleoridge. Now he whines for his food and wolfs down about 1kg a day.

I've been feeding my dog Paleo Ridge for around 3 years now, and I'll definitely continue using them in the future.

One of the things that first attracted me to the brand was their commitment to sustainable packaging. Over the years, I've seen their packaging evolve quite a bit, but it's been great to see that they've continued to make recyclable packaging a priority wherever possible. It's refreshing to support a company that's always looking to improve while keeping sustainability in mind.

The only minor criticism I have is the Classic Mini pouches. I personally find them a little difficult to tear open, but it's not something that's ever put me off. I simply snip the top with a pair of scissors instead, which makes opening them quick and fuss free.

Overall, I've been consistently impressed with the quality of the food, the company's values, and their commitment to improving both their products and packaging. It's a brand I trust and one I'll happily continue supporting for years to come.

Dangerous food - if my lab refuses it now after 3 years but eats everything else in front of her - They’ve changed the recipe & poor customer service

I have a brilliant Labrador gun dog and she has never once turned her food upon food even when I’ve had to go for a cheaper tinned option whilst travelling. It is very marked that she started refusing Paleo Ridge last summer 2025 she’s had a few months off it. I’ve reintroduced it and she’s turning a nose up again. She has all sorts of food she even eats vegetables sprouts everything the only thing she now refuses to eat is Paleo Ridge. I believe that when they change the website they also sort to save costs on quality there’s no better check than my Labrador. But given the things that she does eat, it makes me seriously concerned what is in this food now. I will not be buying another.

Like a few others on here I had a real problem with customer service last year. I’d been a customer for many years I’ve spent thousands on this product for my Dogs, and despite ordering hampers under the previous website of dog food and the additional DIY bones being added into it in the same box in the same packaging they could still justify over two years of charging me £7 despite using the same boxes as the hamper to put a couple of bones in and they refuse to budge on this.

I’ve been feeding my Vizslas Paleo Ridge food from the moment the business was established. I doubt I would ever jump ship as I find the service 5* and I know my pups are very content and eager to scoff their meals. I appreciate that it’s a chunky mince and there is plenty of variety. The next day service is fabulous too.

Terrific family-run company with excellent customer service and super products that my dog loves. Paleo Ridge’s raw-complete range makes feeding raw food to your dog really easy as the food is ready-mixed in the species-appropriate ratio of 80% meat, 20% bone, and 20% offal. They also do a DIY range of separate items. There are lots of different combinations of flavours to suit every taste and different sized packs to suit dogs small to large. I have been feeding Paleo Ridge raw to my dog for about eight years and I highly recommend them.

I have been using Paleo Ridge for the last 7 years. I have tried all raw companies and can confirm that Paleo Ridge is the best.
My dogs adore the products. I love the company ethos and unrivalled quality.
I wont be changing anytime soon.
Ps I LOVE the new trays, so much easier than the previous (even though I liked the previous)

In December, we had a partial order turn up and so I refused delivery. The company only refunded me partially, telling me I shouldn’t have returned the partial order that turned up at my doorstep just before the Christmas break.

I wrote a formal compliant to them on 17 December 2025 to escalate the matter and it was never responded to.

Not only did I suffer a financial loss as a result, but also had to scramble to find alternative food for the dogs at short notice before the holidays.

I was very disappointed to have received this service after being with them for many years. There are many other complete raw food companies that offer a much better service than Paleo Ridge so please look into them, if you here because you’re considering trying Paleo Ridge.

While I’ve cut my losses and pursued this via Section 75 with my credit card company. I am writing this review to prevent you from having a similar experience.

My dog loves this food and customer service is great. The only thing that spoils the whole experience is DPD. They leave the parcel in view on the doorstep and don’t even bother to knock or ring my doorbell when I’m in the property. I get a notification email to say it’s been delivered. There is no excuse for this. DPD need to stop doing this.

Paleo- I cannot fault them! Speedy delivery, incredible range of foods, and 10/10 for quality with every single batch. My dog has never ever looked so good- thankyou!

The commitment to quality and farming practices is what attracted me, and my dog seems to enjoy the food. But the customer service is poor and inflexible. I made an error on my delivery addess and IMMEDIATELY sought to correct it - they didn't acknowledge my request in time and basically told me to deal with it (i.e. accept a lost delivery). A pity that they take such a cavalier approach to customer service. I can't risk losing more money due to inadvertent human error.

I have 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks who so far have quite liked this food, but unfortunately, since the changes on their web site they only offer free carriage if you spend over £100 at a time or if you subscribe.
This no longer works for us because there's no way I can freeze £100 of food, I don't have the freezer space. I also do not wish to subscribe because we don't want to be restricted to one raw dog food brand. There is lots of other choice out there so my dogs aren't going hungry, but I would have hoped for a bit of a more realistic approach from this brand that we have used for over 5 years.
A customer loyalty rewards scheme might have been a nice thing.
Paleoridge have now lost our custom, I can get free carriage elsewhere and buy the amount I actually need and my dogs are still happy.

I’ve been using Paleo Ridge raw for quite some time, during that time I have sent numerous emails about their leaky packaging but it falls on deaf ears. I have just sent another photo to them of a bone broth being thawed in a bowl which as it thaws totally leaks out. This is unacceptable I find that all their packaging on defrosting leaks and it’s messy trying to get all the meat out of the carton. I also agree with another reviewer that some of their tripe menus are just mush similar to their essential range.
