Panasonic 48MZ1500 OLED TV

I find it unbelievable and difficult to understand why the 48mz1500 is available in European countries and not the UK, which is also much cheaper than the previous models. I would prefer that Panasonic UK come up with a straightforward answer then some BS.

1 star as they use DHL so beware

Bought a breadmaker was meant to be delivered this morning and DHL couldn't do so. As always there is no customer service number to speak to a human being. Had I known they use DHL I would have ordered somewhere else. Really disappointed

I purchased a TX-48MZ80B in February

I purchased a TX-48MZ80B in February. A software update was installed and as a consequence the TV power light alternated between Red and Green. I contacted Panasonic and was asked to provide proof of purchase despite them confirming the TV was registered etc. as they would be passing the issue to the 'Tech Team' I sent this off within 10 mins and heard nothing. I rang them several days later and asked for progress. I was told I had to ring their service provider as the Tech Team couldn't do anything. I suggested it was for them to authorise the Service provider as it is a separate company. I heard nothing so 2 days later rang again. I issued a formal complaint but again nothing. I then received a call from the service provider who stated they couldn't do anything it would need to be dealt with by the Tech Team back at Panasonic. I contacted Panasonic again and pointed out we were going in circles and the TV still is not working. I requested a manager contacts me. A lady rang the next morning with poor attitude but said she make the arrangements and advise me by email. I have now waited a further 3 days heard nothing so rang and asked for the same manager to call with an update. I then received an email from the sub contracted service provider stating they have been told by Panasonic to replace the main board and would I like them to order it. I am disgusted with this appalling service.

Great TV until it started making loud…

Great TV until it started making loud clicking noise, Panasonic wanted a video of the problem, how do you video a noise?
Eighteen months old and with Six-year warranty, £2000 for what I thought was a quality unit. Emailed the boss of Panasonic Europe Mr Junichi Suzuki and got nowhere.
Shame such a great TV is not matched by the customer service which is shameful.

Cheating Charlatans

Bought a brand new camera 2024..
Set up in new PC with windows 11. Total blue screen of death .. Luckily I knew how to reboot in safe mode and system restore. Tried again and same happened.
When i rang many of their models (this time a FZ330) are known not to work...
I was told to send back at my cost as its not a camera fault. Well the thing is not fit for purpose.
I recommend never buying a panasonic item ever!

Closed shop for repairs.

A joke of a system made to rip us off and stop own repairs! Plus they have closed the door to the independant!!
My very expensive 5:1 DVD player has suffered a catastrophic fault on the main board. Need a new board. To repair this it was taken to their named repairer. To complete supply and fitting of the board is £400 total!! Bye bye!
Try to get hold of a board myself to do it myself and Oh No, we don't sell to you or to independents.
So a closed shop and a racket
I have had high end Panasonic products of every variety since the early 90s, lots.
No more! They can go forth and I shall buy whatever is best price. You get nothing more for a premium price.
Funny how so many give 1 star on here. Every picture....

Panasonics extended warranty useless.

I purchased a smart Panasonic TV in 2019. Had a new Wi-Fi box and the TV won’t accept the new code. Got in touch with Panasonic as the TV had a 6 year extended
Warranty. It now transpires the warranty isn’t worth the paper it is written on. Because you can only make a claim by email and the form won’t accept the model number so you can’t make the claim. I have a Sony and Samsung TVs they were no trouble to connect to the Wi-Fi box. DO NOT BUY A Panasonic TV.

3+months and the TV is still not working.

TV purchased end of Nov for bedroom. Set up in Dec to test Smart TV features and used a couple of times. Connected Freesat cable in Jan for it to only worked for 12 days!
23/1 - I Phoned John Lewis support and they asked me to phone Panasonic who then asked me to phone the repair company for my area (Martin Dawes) which I did.
Since then there have been 3x visits and numerous phone calls with John Lewis support and Martin Dawes. I've heard everything from Panasonic haven't got back to them, the Panasonic system is down to the latest today that the part they ordered has been cancelled and they need to re-order again! Happy to share the full timeline of events.
Overall - Panasonic this is POOR. If you have a repair channel you need to support it properly!

£1500 Panasonic Oled TV main board…

£1500 Panasonic Oled TV main board failure 3 months out of warranty appalling customer service, expected to call a panasonic service centre 70miles away and pay £120 call out. Took the TV locally to who use to be long established Panasonic approved repairers before they were drastically reduced who then diagnosed the mainboard failure now Panasonic can't supply them a exchange board due to there parts ordering system online being updated worldwide which as been ongoing for weeks. Its totally frustrating to ask there customer service centre any questions without them replying with another question instead of a straight answer. I've been a loyal customer of panasonic TVs and tech. for the last 40 years but after this experience I've sadly lost all faith in the brand.

Nightmare and pointless process to register

Nightmare and pointless process to register product (going round in circles, product number not recognised on their own www).

Surprised how bad reviews of Panasonic are, as they always used to have a good reputation. Would not have bought if had looked at Trustpilot first! Wanted review (press one on phone etc) for feedback on customer service') but simply have to look at Trustpilot. It speaks volume that company does not even make a token response to consumer comment.

Going from bad to worse to just…

Going from bad to worse to just unbelievable.. been waiting weeks for an order.. in comes in part, no shaver heads, useless... days of talks with customer service just revealed that they are out of stock of the parts that were in stock when ordered them... now I have to wait a MONTH.. and for some reason I can't get a refund on just the missing parts, need to send the unit back which they prob won't accept as I opened it looking for the missing parts.. absolute jokers!!!!

Sub standard goods

Bought a microwave 2 years ago which has now rusted. Instead of Panasonic admitting that the materials used in production were sub standard, they blame the customer for using the machine for the purposes it was intended.
I have never written a bad review before, however, I wish to spread the news that Panasonic products should be avoided at all costs.

Please be careful when buying goods from Panasonic.
The after sale warranty is extremely disappointing.
I had an issue with my microwave turntable.
When speaking to the customer care team it was requested that I send a video of the issue, it was agreed for me to send just a photo etc " Regarding our last conversation I would kindly ask you reply with the following: -Photo of the placement of the unit -Photo of the inside of the unit -Photo of the proof of purchase
I'm looking forward to your replay
Kind Regards,".

This I did.

I was then contacted and the video was needed. I attempted to this 3 times and still had issue sending them over.

So please be mindful. !!

Paid nearly £2000 for TX-50AX802B TV…

Paid nearly £2000 for TX-50AX802B TV and because it was out of use for a while, and the TV is not working properly anymore and is staying stuck on the Logo. And I need to pay extra for it to be fixed. So annoyed. paying so much money and still cannot use it. The brand is not recommended from me. Avoid if you can. Thanks

Inferior quality microwave

I have purchased many different Panasonic products over the years and have always found them to be good quality.
Not anymore my last purchase 17 months ago was a microwave which the inside has changed colour and paint is starting to peel, not through any fault of mine, it has always been cleaned and dried after using.
I complained to customer care as I would expect a microwave to last 5 to 10 years, totally unhelpful, would not accept there is a problem or offer to repair or replace.
Their only answer is to purchase a new Panasonic microwave, which I will not, to have the same problem again.
I would not recommend anyone to purchase a Panasonic microwave.
