We all fall on hard times and…

We are all falling hard times and unfortunately , i'm following it , and I found out that humanity can be uncaring unconcern with his fellow neighbors , I walked into a panera spread in Colorado Springs, Colorado and found out there still decent people and dispair bread will always get my business when I get back up.A small act of kindness goes a long ways.The food there is amazing.But the people there are even more amazing.

Worse experience ever

Bread hard, menu boards require a PHD to decipher, drink bad, $13.36 for a drink that had no taste, a bag of chips i told them I didnt want and a sandwich with bread so hard I had to peel the top off. The company's answer? If I join their little rewards club they will give me a free drink. Screw them. Don't NOT waste your time or money.

Order arrived missing the main component

Had placed a catering order a week in advance. It was delivered the day of my meeting. I noticed the coffee was missing I called, no one answered. I called 3 more times--no one answered. I had to drive there and they told me their coffee machine was down. I had to ask for a refund! they hadn't even refunded me. They didn't tell me and didn't refund me. I had a meeting full of people and no coffee. They gave me the number to customer care to handle a refund. HORRIBLE SERVICE

My food was good but the delivery…

My food was good but the delivery person did not bring it to where I asked. I live in the back of a house he proceeded to take and bring it to the front of the house and I had to get it from my neighbor upstairs. They don't listen and pay attention to instructions which I think is very rude. Tomato are there

Way over-priced for the quality

I ordered a bowl of soup and a bowl of mac and cheese and ice tea in the drive thru, unable to see the prices very well from my car. Twenty six dollars? The mac was good, but the soup was probably left over from the lunch hour, disgusting. Twenty six dollars? Never never again will I go to this over-priced restaurant for such inferior food!

ZERO MANAGEMENT IN NANUET NY PANERA..PEOPLE WALKING OUT ETC....Wow they must search high and low for the lowest class of people they can put on the register. The guy at the register a M/B doesn't even acknowledge me for several minute then looks at me and say " I gotta do an order right now ( after 5 minutes of standing there- ill be back...comes back SEVERAL MORE MINUTES LATER and says nothing-just looks at me. What a lowlife place this turned into..used to be very nice..NO More
not even a "sorry about that sir", or a hello, or a welcome to panera ..nothing..even the 2 ladies behind me walked out and Said this place is a joke after waiting so long...if you want to go somewhere for lunch that you definitely won't feel welcome, this is the place.

No community support

I suggested to the manager Daniel Lessa that it would be nice to have food that the local Jewish community would like. He refused, saying Panera Bread has to have the same food at all the stores. He tried to say he couldn't even order it, not in their system. I suggested he could be a nice person and buy it himself. He got upset and couldn't be bothered with a suggestion. I believe I know the reason why. Its 2026 and we still have to put up with hatred like this. Makes me sick. Shamefull!

Panera-please pay attention and read orders back to customer.

Went to the Panera the same one every week where they practically know my name. I am a sip club member for 3 years. Went in for lunch today and asked for sandwich without the sauce with the you pick two and soda, my husband ordered you pick two with water. I received my sandwich filled with the chipotle aioli and was charged for an additional soda. When I went to talk with manager he mentioned I was not a part of the sip club and continued to show me the screen, and started to raise his voice. I said either way I was charged for a soda that I did not get when I asked for a water could I get a refund? He refunded me the money and handed me the two receipt. If you are so unhappy please seek out another job that brings you joy.

Bad customer service

My daughter ordered food and had it delivered. When we got the food. They threw the food inside the bag. They did not wrap the bread. The bread was hard as a rock. It had no covering no wrap, but I called customer service. They got smart with me. They was very nasty and rude. I also took pictures of the inside of the bag.

Used to be Very Good...

When I first encountered Panera Bread, some of the staff were beginning to admit services were slowly easing out. This was just before Dunkin' Donuts acquired them, and many of us service staff were still hopeful Mother Bread would continue to be some semblance of what it was.

Next came a disagreement, the RGM who encouraged me the most to help be their for customers and to go above and beyond was removed. Warm greetings were still encouraged, but unrealistic. Helping customers with the new Kiosks was phased out. I couldn't even find the time with new hire decisions becoming worse and worse to do a lot of basal courtesies like sampling, holding the door open for customers, and basic station upkeep.

Some staff began showing up clearly out of it, some very clearly under the influence of some substance or another. While I'm not a huge advocate for drug testing everyone under the sun, it got to the point of sending people home, and then doing nothing about it at all.

Redundancies in the menu, popular item eliminations, excess expectations from daytime staff and bakers in general, as well as a loss of focus on customer appreciation has slowly been removing customers from their locations. Former customers who greet me often lament they miss the times I was the first person they saw in a morning, and commented their gatherings are no longer there, or entirely stopped.

Menomonee Falls location has the worst review of all staff members I've talked with during and after my stay with Panera Bread. I still get complaints, and do encourage staff members to contact HR, even going to help file an anonymous report over the years, but most seem to believe nothing will come of it and withdraw or change the subject. This is coming at a notation that I've had the ability to talk with staff members in multiple states, such as North Carolina and Indiana.

Some notable issues were the roll out of the new egg machines, the new panini presses, the frozen soups with regards to "Always fresh, never frozen," the elimination of some specialty breads (such as Rye), the loss of Mother Bread itself, the loss of cream cheeses due to continual recalls, health and sanitation issues (black flecks in the ice machine being one concern I kept seeing)... Please, just find somewhere else to eat unless your particular location is still doing ok... I'd like to presume the average reader needs a solid treat and good service. I cannot advise you go here. IIRC I first became familiar with Panera Bread somewhere around 2014/2015 and was only there a few years.

Panera Bread had a point of passion and good service once upon a time. This has been lost in an attempt to compete with places like McDonalds - taking casual dining out and putting fast food in. This is part of why order preparation times have spiked over the years. I'm very hopeful some of my former co-workers will eventually find their way up, as some of them were very adamant they wanted these kinds of issues addressed. I still feel the company can return to what it was, but it will take a lot of work. I still have to deal with this company to this day, despite not even going near them, just because of how much they've hurt my friends and failed their customers.

I wish I could give negative stars. The Panera on the UNLV campus is the absolute worst that I have ever been to. Their orders are more wrong than ever right and definitely not same quality or size as other locations in Vegas. Why are they still open? - cuz the comment links on email receipt to report issues are not working. Besides they have a captive student audience. Shame on Panera for allowing subpar cafe to stay in business.

Bag closure was in my first bite of…

Bag closure was in my first bite of chicken walnut sandwich! The closure hit inside of my lip!🙄🤮😱😢 I spit it on paper towel to see it! Didn't finish the sandwich.
I took a picture.
Panera Bread was closed. Phoned next day. Spoke with manager April, she stated couldn't give refund because I paid cash. She would redo the order for free. Why would I ever eat there again, after that experience???
Phoned the headquarters as of this date no response from them!
What if this happened to a small child?? 🤔

I ordered Toasted Caprese Focaccia but…

I ordered Toasted Caprese Focaccia but they gave no mozzarella & the dressing tasted soo bad I couldn't even swallow, the lady suggested cheddar broccoli soup but she gave creamy tomato soup & I didn't like it. The place is nice, just praying their emlpyees will give the right orders nextime & be more welcoming to customers.

I just ate my last Bagel from Panera!!😕 When it came to buying a delicious bagel,paneras was always my go to!! But you have changed your bagel recipe and it is not nearly as delicious. So disappointed. I hope you will reconsider going back to your original recipe.

State College Panera!

I love all the Panera’s in state college, Pa. There are 4 locations. Each has pretty fast service, coffee is always hot, and if you need anything the staff is very attentive. I had a steak sandwich on a Asiago cheese bagel. It was exactly as I remember. Really enjoyed it. And the coffee was very fresh!

Why is there only one size for the Iced…

Why is there only one size for the Iced Madagascar Vanilla Latte? I really want a large and not pay $5 for a small size.
Also they used to make the best Pumpkin Spiced Lattes in the fall but that hasn’t come back in years and it’s very disappointing.
