Sent a book in the wrong language (German), and then refused to refund me the postage I had spent to return it to them. It was not clear at all from the listing that this book wasn't in English. I did not appreciate the high handed response I received from them about this. I won't use them again for anything.

I ordered a book at the end of November, only to be told mid December that they wouldn't be able to supply the book and had cancelled my order. This would normally be acceptable but it was only after multiple times prompting them about my order did they decide to investigate. The book was reasonably priced, but only marginally better than main high street competitors or various online retailers. I will be steering clear of them unless I really have to. Positives are that the customer service team are very nice.

I ordered a yoga book - print on demand (POD) via Abebooks and the order was fulfilled by Books 2 Anywhere who I believe are the same organisation. The book hadn't arrived at the earliest date so checked order status and then order and reviews. I noticed the book was POD and this company was getting very bad reviews on delivery and quality. Well fear not from my experience. This company delivered - brand new, no damage, good quality print and photographs binding. It arrived in the middle of the range of delivery times. Would use again don't know others circumstances but can't complain

My package arrived today and the books are in near perfect condition. It did arrive two days later than expected, but this is understandable. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with this brilliant service. Would use again.

I ordered a second hand book from them through Amazon, I had a very hard time finding the book elsewhere as they have stopped printing it. The company replied to my email quickly, and The book is in PERFECT condition, and arrived a day early. Couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks UKpaperbackshop!

I was worried when I saw the bad reviews on here and messaged my amazon shop to double-check it would arrive. They quickly responded to me which was amazing. Then today I receive my books! More than on time and in PERFECT condition. I would recommend them again. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but they certainly nearly stopped me from buying my product, but I am glad it didn't.

I have recently started looking into the Japanese pottery Art, Kintsugi and wanted to learn more about it etc. I found a book through ABEbooks who were advertising on behalf of Paperbackshop. They offered the book I had seen else where and at a great price with free postage.
It arrived this morning and I see that it has a fancy cover like a lot I checked out but turns out it's just a cheap notepad!
I contacted the company and they said return in good condition and they will refund (they didn't comment that their title was misleading) but I would have to pay the postage! Due to Covid situation normal post is hopeless so it would mean sending it special delivery but company wouldn't pay and gave me the impression they couldn't care less about their misleading description and basically blamed me for ordering the wrong item!
I would AVOID this company at all costs.

Ordered to books from this company via Ebay, said they had been dispatched - nothing has arrived, does not reply to emails, will have to go to Paypal for a refund, avoid at all costs, feedback on Ebay extremely poor DO NOT BUY FOR THIS COMPANY

I ordered a diary as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately it never arrived for Christmas and I had to request a refund. I have had responses to my emails within 2 days so whilst it was frustrating not to get my order and then having to make another purchase elsewhere which was not as nice as my original one I do however think the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic with lockdowns, unusual work arrangements and postal backlogs with everyone doing everything online has to be kept in mind and recognise that things are just not running as smoothly as we are all used to. I have been told I will get a refund so hopefully that won't take too long. I would still use Paperback Shop in the future.

Order 3 separate packages from pbshop on Onbuy.com , the parcels were due a week ago by royal mail and still not arrived. When asked about it I was told to wait a few days which i did but still no items have arrived. Opened a case and still no contact from neither seller or Onbuy themselves. I thought the company was safe as it was given a 4.6 overall rating on Onbuy but I soon figured out that any review under 4 stars was not displayed. I am the least to say upset about this after wasting £45. I hope onbuy and the company will get in touch and fix this problem.

I ordered "Corporal Sam" By Q, advertised as "print on demand", via their alias Books2Anywhere on Abe UK. It arrived promptly and in good physical condition. However, the text is clearly scanned from the original book, then converted to text by OCR. It is not proof- read, or even basically spell- checked, and is not reformatted to suit the different page size. The result is all but unreadable. The very first line reads (sic): "Sergeant David Wilkes, of the First (Koyal) Eegiment of Foot...". Later: "'-TaJce you all notice: thatwlierassomeevil-dispoi^ed hoys did last night...". And, almost wonderfully: "GOB SAVE THE KING."
I'll keep the book to show my friends the cynical misuse of technology.

Two expensive and heavy books were received with damaged corners. Paid over £13 to return them. Despite an emailed confirmation they would refund this amount in addition to my order value, they haven't. To say I'm miffed is an understatement and I will complain to Amazon about them.

Ordered a book since march 5th , today is april 29th . Nothing . No tracking service. No book . no refund . They keep sending useless messages for weeks pretending they are sorry and that they are working on finding a solution . Please stay away . I just gave up after over a month of trying.
