Highly highly recommended.
Very helpful and friendly service. Newspaper arrived quickly and well packaged with a quirky recycled newspaper gift bag and protective tissue paper also enclosed. Can't wait to give this as a Christmas gift. Highly highly recommended service. Will definitely be using them again.

This 1943 newspaper was located deep down in the archive however it was worth the effort to retrieve it as it will make the perfect Christmas gift.

Thanks for the kind words Eva. We might be a small business down here in Cornwall but I like to think that we "punch above our weight" and can get a top product delivered to most places in the UK the next day. It's interesting that you comment about the smell of the newspaper. People often ask me how to authenticate a newspaper and I always say that the first test is to smell it! If it smells old then it is likely to be an original and not a modern reprinted edition.
Gifted business with an amazing birthday gift
I am extremely grateful to Ian for his prompt efforts in getting our gift. I have never come across a business that is open 9am to 9pm 7 days a week but Ian went beyond as he replied after 9pm on a bank holiday weekend.
My lasting memory of my father-in-law is him reading his newspaper so this wa an ideal gift for his 80th birthday. The newspaper was high quality and fascinating to read. I cannot recommend this ore highly.

This 1937 newspaper was a "Royal Edition" of The Times, from a very limited print run back then and originally for distribution to the Royal Households so a real piece of history. I can see that it has been much enjoyed by your father-in-law.

Excellent and rapid advice from the company, and highly efficient retrieval and dispatch of specific historic newspaper ordered. This company seems to have a wider range of Times newspapers available than any of the other internet based companies, at the most competitive prices.

It is true that we have got good stocks of The Times (over 150 tons) but I prefer to sell them rather than hoard them hence the lower, much more competitive price. Customers get a good deal and I make a living working with fascinating old papers - everyone happy!

Just received the Times newspaper from my dad's date of birth in 1923. Ordered on Thursday evening, delivered on Saturday. Really pleased with the condition of the newspaper and very professional packaging, I am certain that my dad will be pleased and amazed with it as a gift, highly recommended

Believe it or not I had a 1957 Newspaper Volume in the car, as you do, and I was able to retrieve a really great edition, gift pack it and post it off to New Zealand straight away so a good job all round. Ian.
Really lovely gift.
I received my 80 year old paper today (Tuesday) having spoken to Ian to arrange and order on Sunday! Fabulous, friendly service and arrived in a lovely presentation box, I'm really pleased. All round lovely experience, I thoroughly recommend - Thank you.

I contacted Ian from Papers Past late Friday afternoon, after being let down by another site as they couldn't get the paper I had requested and paid for!....However Ian was able to get the 1947 Times that I wanted and it arrived the next day!.....very impressed, great communication and customer service.
