After not being well enough to fly for…

After not being well enough to fly for the past 2 yrs this year was all stations go, we have flown from Bristol airport for the best part of 20 years, and from the car have enjoyed the shuttle drop off right outside the departures due to my disability, imagine my shock being dropped off out side a building I've never encountered before with my only knowledge was to follow everyone else, in we went to be met by something similar to a subway we just done our best and carried on following others in what begun to feel like a unorganized rat race of people shoving and bumping each other coming and going in different directions, when we got into the terminal omfg, it was like a cluster of madness walking around like headless chickens, I don't know how an austistic child or adult would cope with that, and I had exhausted my mental and pain state, the nice lady at the special assistance ask me if I'd be willing to try the new ramps they had to the planes I and was going to try, but honestly I had no more strength to give and explained the painful walk from the shuttle the ducking and diving to check in, and they'd probably end up calling for an ambulance to take me to hospital or the mad house I think she realized I needed the lift...

Carpark

Silverzone Carpark was a nightmare to get out of, our flight landed at 11:40pm but we were still in the carpark until 1:20am which was at a standstill. Why on earth would Bristol Silverzone carpark use number plate recognition to leave carpark, when you need to pick your car key up from main office which is proof that you have paid for your stay. Bristol silverzone carpark need to get their act together.

Short stay car park prices jump from…

Short stay car park prices jump from £13 to £25 at 45 minutes. I arrived after my wife's plane arrived. We did not delay leaving, but had parked for 46 minutes. Prices at this car park increase £2 from 15 mins, £2.50 more from 30 mins, then increase by £12 after 45 mins. After 60 mins it increases by £5 until after 4 hours. Is a £12 increase acceptable? I don't think so.

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE

If you want to have your keys lost, your car lost, your car damaged and be met by indifference and hostility whilst trying to complain to staff, then use this service - personally we will never be using this service again

Turned up to the waiting zone car park…

Turned up to the waiting zone car park late at night to pick up my wife only to find the car park barrier switched off and cones across the entrance. No sign saying it was closed when she entered via the pedestrian entrance and no information on Bristol airport website or the transfer bus saying it's only open at specific times.
Had to stop outside the car park to let her in as there was no other option only to then get hit with a £60 fine for stopping in the road when I was left with no other option.
Be aware of this scam.
It seems they expect you to drive off and leave your loved ones standing alone in the dark.

Rude old man

Dropping keys off was a long que but staff on hand tp help. Unfortunately on the return there was a slight muddle up as we had 2 cars but one reciept lost. Keys to my daughters car were found but mine weren't. The old man there became really rude to me, saying its all my fault because I gave him the reciept to my daughters car who was stood with me and thats what they could t find my keys. Even though I gave my reg 7 times. A younger more polite guy heard him and came to help. Far more manners and actually listened and understood. Shame the old guy was SO rude to customers. Put me off going from there again.

Returned home from a cancelled flight

Returned home from a cancelled flight, 24 hours no sleep, having to get from Birmingham to Bristol to get my car. Exhausted, in the scorching heat.
Got home to see damage to my car, yes, should have checked before I left but being absolutely on empty just wanted to get home.
Brand new Range Rover. Asked the airport for help and they were not interested.
I asked them to check the pictures of my vehicle when I entered and when I left but they would not assist.
Considering what they charge I do think this is a poor service and furthermore poor consumer support.
I would avoid at all costs as they are not there to help and make your travel experience easier. All they want is your money.
Would never use again.

Overcrowded and extremely rude security staff who were like school room bullies

For my 6:15 flight the airport was totally overcrowded, add to this the over priced coffee and sandwiches etc. This was only bettered by the security staff who were extremely rude, looking to upset you enough to react, in addition as well as acting like school room bullies most looked like they had just left school.
Only reason for 2 stars rather than one was that the exprience in arrivals was far better and APH shuttle bus was prompt. The trouble is the attitude and general humiliation caused by the security staff on departure will be my lasting memory of the airport.

Miserable woman driver

Decided to go to ask a Silver Zone driver but a miserable woman turned up, blasting out Tina Turner. Barely acknowledged me. Very different to excellent service received previously.

Brilliant experience

Brilliant experience! Super simple and with the discount + Cashback it wasn’t awfully priced. My partner accidentally locked our keys in the car and both Mikes we fantastic and super quick to help us get them out! We weren’t sure if we would be able to make the flight but due to their help, we were able to go on our holiday. Thank you so much both Mikes, and absolute credit to silver zone parking.

Airport Access and Ridiculous Car Parking Charges

Why is Bristol Airport charging your customers for the building of the new car park ? Your car parking prices are twice as much as other airports who have good motorway and transport links to their hub. Never mind about increasing the size of Bristol airport, at this rate you will have priced yourself out of the market with customers using more convienient and cheaper transport hubs. Shame on you !

Try investing into rail links and better road networks to Bristol airport before expanding the airport ! At this present time and until better access is provided, please charge your customers respectable rates for car parking and for using your hub. I now travel to and from a different airport because Bristol airport is too difficult to reach and very expensive when you get there !

Do Not Use Silver zone parking. Appalling behaviour

Please see my profile photo of screenshots of what happened, doesnt show the video. But be careful. They dont care or look after your car.

Used Bristol Silver Zone parking recently and my vehicle alerted me to an impact whilst away. When I checked the footage from my vehicle cameras, it showed a member of staff throwing my key onto my bonnet/windscreen whilst the car was in their care.

To be fair, Bristol Airport investigated the matter and admitted the behaviour fell below the standards expected of staff, confirming the incident was being dealt with internally. They also confirmed no damage was found to the vehicle.

However, without my vehicle’s CCTV and alerts, I would never have known this had happened, which I personally find concerning. After the complaint was upheld, I was offered a 25% refund as a goodwill gesture, but I do not feel this reflected the seriousness of the conduct or the loss of confidence caused, how they could just carelessly throw my key over the bonnet and hit the windscreen, its more the cost of car keys. They are not cheap, but regardless, the person in question didnt care.

I advised I would be leaving reviews, but after reading everyone else's no wonder there customer services dont care.

Following my experience, I would strongly recommend customers ensure dashcams, sentry mode or vehicle alerts are enabled before leaving their vehicle with these. Well I wouldnt use them full stop after what my dashcam footage showed.

It’s absolutely ridiculous

It’s absolutely ridiculous, 18 th May not peak season or school holidays, the queues to check in were a nightmare, we totally understand the one person check in but you then can’t reconnect with your family as the sheer amount of people. We ended up on 2 different buses as passengers wouldn’t let you through. Driver could do with a happy pill. I also did a price comparison for the same dates and times to Heathrow and Gatwick their both were considerably much cheaper. Bristol Airport will definitely not cope with expanding.
We will never use again

I paid nearly £200 for meet and greet…

I paid nearly £200 for meet and greet parking at Bristol Airport for 1 week but the service really didn’t feel worth the money.
It was basically just parking the car in a multi-storey car park, which didn’t feel like the premium “meet and greet” experience you’d expect for that price. When we returned to collect the car, we were told it was “just here on the right”, but we couldn’t find it anywhere.
After walking around looking for it, we were then told that someone had moved it and it was actually about four rows away from where it should have been. Not exactly what you want after travelling, especially when you’ve paid so much for convenience.
Really disappointing service and poor organisation. For the price charged, I expected a much smoother and more professional experience.
