bought the most expensive package…

bought the most expensive package because i want to always be sure im completely covered, i got injured and sick on my trip and the doctors couldn’t understand English and they had no idea what the chronic disease i had was. They made a diagnosis with barely knowing anything about me. So I refused their diagnosis and rushed home instead of going to their underdeveloped hospitals. Passport refused to pay for anything because I didn’t listen to the “doctors” advice. (It was a hut in the middle of nowhere). I spent $200 on health insurance for just 1 week of travel and got nothing out of it not even the bare minimum.

חוויה מאוד שלילית וחוב מאוד גדול

זה הביטוח שהיה לי כחלק ממשרה של שלוש שנים בארצות הברית. חודשים טרם החזרה שלי לארץ נזקקתי לקולונוסקופיה עכב גילוי של גן שיכול לגרום לסרטן. לאחר ביצוע הבדיקה הם סירבו לשלם עבור הבדיקה למרות הסכומים האסטרונומיים שהם גובים באופן חודשי עבור הביטוח.
לטענתם הייתי צריכה לחכות לבצע את הבדיקה בארץ. אז למה בעצם יש לי ביטוח?
מי הם להחליט מה נדרש רפואית ומה לא?

אחרי וויכוחים רבים איתם נשארתי עם חוב רפואי של 3200 דולר. הם לא הסכימו לשלם אפילו דולר אחד. אבל לשלם להם על ביטוח כשמצידם אסור לך להתשמש בו, זה בסדר.

ממליצה להתרחק מהם ושלמור את הכסף לשלם עבור הטיפול בעצמך.

Very positive experience with Passportcard

I had an accident while I was abroad. I required surgery and hospitalization. Once Passport card was informed that I could not return home for this, they fully paid for all the medical care I needed. They kept in daily contact with my partner to advise and make sure I got the help I needed. I highly recommend their travel insurance. They proved to be reliable and trustworthy.

Decepción en el momento clave: me filtraron y enviaron a un médico barato de su red, aun con la aprobación del cardiólogo. Se sintió como evasión, no atención real.


When it really mattered – they failed.
I needed to see a doctor due to a change in my treatment. Instead of providing simple access, I was asked endless questions until I was politely filtered out. It feels like they deliberately screen clients. I pay a lot, yet the service felt like avoidance – no support, no ease, no real care. All I wanted was to change a cream prescription. Instead of arranging a doctor abroad, they tried to redirect me to a doctor in Israel, whose qualification was unclear. Even when I had written approval from my cardiologist, they pushed me toward a “network doctor,” a cheaper alternative, rather than proper personalized care.
They failed.
And I wonder – who writes them all those “perfect reviews”? Are they genuine, or simply paid PR? I’m skeptical. Maybe my case was unique, but I strongly recommend that others share reviews outside the company’s platforms, so they can’t be deleted by internal PR teams.

Has anyone but myself noticed red…

Has anyone but myself noticed red flags in Passportcard (isreali branch office) ,a company engaged in a serious product of short term travel medical insurance , that every now and than post a sale agent at the airport ?
as if the product is a magazine sub.

Has any one encounter significat diffuculties in while a try of uploading money to the "red credit card of passportcard"-Or not b able 2 upload from any other reason ? because i have a feeling that when that product was launched -(with its Flag advantage that the traveler gets medical expanses in the "live money time"or being re imburssed costs in 24/48 after submitting invoices 2 his her method of pay ) some clients might have been in expansive clinics or even missued it --And a significant change was taken place in the past 2 years or more- which is not exactly in the favor of the buyer, 2 say the least...

A sales agent assured me that I would…

A sales agent assured me that I would receive a policy in English as well as help and communication in English. After buying the policy, I was sent emails only in Hebrew, when I tried to call I was hung up on because I don't speak Hebrew. Because I didn't know how to activate this policy, who to call, where to go, etc, I am out hundreds of $$$ and I am on my own.

abuse of an 80 year old holocaust survivor

They sent my 80 year old holocaust survivor mother to get medical documents from the doctor and then said they will only insure her for 30 days and that we have to prove to them that we are changing our trip from 44 days to 30 days by sending them a plane ticket!
horrible customer service.
I logged in to my mother's kopat holim and was instantly approved by Harel for the entire time with no medical documents required.
I will suggest to anyone with an elderly relative to avoid like fire!
