5* service yet again.
I had to inform Patons that I no longer need cover for my taxi and I spoke to Debbie in Customer Services.
She was very courteous,knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak to.
She was professional throughout the conversation and dealt with my questions seamlessly.

Beware interest charged.
All routine. Everything fine. App easy to use. A bit disappointed with the ridiculous rate charged in interest when you pay monthly, and the amount of commission Paton’s are receiving for acting as a broker. I feel it’s excessive. Also failed repeatedly to quote an APR at point of sale as per FCA guidelines, even although asked repeatedly. Pretty sure the deposit is charged interest at the ridiculous rate also when it should actually be deducted from the balance borrowed when doing the calculations. Up front payments mean a reduced amount of credit. However, must say that I have since heard from a colleague who was in a no blame crash that Paton’s were excellent throughout in almost every aspect. Sort out the interest thing and they’d get five stars.
