I had a really good experience with Paytriot when setting up payment processing for my vape website. Perez was fantastic throughout the whole process. He took the time to explain everything properly, answered all my questions and made sure I understood how everything worked before moving forward.

Really appreciate the help and support. Would definitely recommend Paytriot to anyone looking for payment processing for their business!

This is an honest and genuine review based entirely on our own experience with Patriot Payments.

For months, we had ongoing problems accessing our account and back-office system. We repeatedly chased for access and for issues to be resolved, but communication and support were inconsistent.

When we eventually raised a formal complaint/dispute about the ongoing problems, we were told by one of the account managers that if we complained again, they would have to close our account. Shortly afterwards, our payment processing stopped working.

When we challenged this, we were subsequently told that the acquiring bank had closed our account due to alleged fraud. This came as a shock to us. To our knowledge, we had not experienced any chargebacks. We had refunded one customer, which is the only transaction we can think of that could possibly have raised an issue.

To be fair, Jay, our account manager, was helpful on occasions and always seemed friendly and approachable. However, that doesn’t change our overall experience with the service.

Another major issue for our business was payouts. Payments were scheduled only once a week, and even then we regularly found ourselves having to chase repeatedly for funds. The inconsistency made it extremely difficult to operate a business with predictable cash flow.

This review reflects our genuine experience and our opinion based on that experience. Unfortunately, based on what we experienced with account access, payouts, communication and the eventual closure of our processing facility, we would not recommend Patriot Payments.

I have been working with Jay from Paytriot to enable the integration to my store and I can honestly say that the whole experience was professional and seamless through the whole journey. Always on hand to help and very honest throughout. Integration was very simple and worked first time. Highly recommended.

Great service!. Jay helped us get online payments on our website. Weve had a few calls exchanged emails. He helped us understand the process, and answered any questions we had.

Working on onboarding with Jay was such a pleasure. Everything from first contact to get it done it was just few days. He is very kind and very involved. The rest of the team was also very fast and helpful.

After countless rejections and a seemingly endless struggle to find a payment processor for our business I had almost given up hope. Our business unfortunately gets lumped into the "high risk" category which means that most processors don't want to know.

I got in touch with Jay at Paytriot and then within days we were up and running. The service has been flawless and it's just removed a massive headache for us. Not only that but our bank suddenly decided to close our account a few months later and then I was going through the same process as I was with payment processors - rejection after rejection. Jay stepped in and recommended a bank and within a day we got accepted. Thank you Jay and Paytriot Payments. Highly recommended.

Really good first impressions. Perez has been very helpful. Only just gone live and had a couple of transactions so will comment again once we see the first reports / payouts come out but at this stage have to say the service has been very impressive

Just got contacted by one of their cold mails apparently.

Agent names are all with the same letter? Coinsidence? Don't think so. A... A.... or J... J... very sus.

Several error and issues on their page. Links not working etc.

Very high fees (20%), even for high risk payments, this is too much.

Parent Company lost its license.

Please stay away.

Looked very promising, had a call back within the first day of registering interest and it it went downhill form there.

The Senior Consultant could not have been more helpful or enthusiastic, we sent all our company details and data for verification with the promise of sign off in 3-5 days.

We are a small company needing a payment gateway for selling fitness supplements - 100% no issues the consultant promises

4 weeks later still no payment gate way, multiple emails, no replies. Then suddenly when i say ill report to trust pilot i get a response immediately apologising saying my account has been signed off but he had to leave the business suddenly, but he will be back next week to send all details.

Ive had no emails on sign off, no integration details and no phone calls

Total scammers, glad we never integrated it. God knows what would happen if you actually started driving money through this.....

Updated - I was called after by a different person apologising about my experiance and advising they had removed the person who dealt with me from the company and if i would reconsider. I declined.. I then noticed the same person they said they had removed was being quoted in posts after mine ... More lies.

Please avoid. Do not trust this company they are totally scammers.

My account manager checks in with me regularly to see if I need anything or have any queries. Pleasantly surprised at the high level of service.

Paytriot still haven't payed our company after over 6 months they held 3 weeks payouts plus the the reserve no reply to any emails or calls Stay away

The team were very clear about what was required to get a merchant account and I was able to make all the changes to my website quickly. As I had a deadline to go live they worked around the clock to make sure this was met and I was live.

We have been working with this payment gateway for 14 months, asking for invoices and statements that they never gave us, and last August they stopped paying us the outstanding balance of about €5000.

Before writing this review, we tried to get paid by sending an email and contacting the administration, our account manager and even the administrator/director of the company, but they stopped answering us and did not pay us the outstanding balance between the reservation and the billing.
Be very careful before opting for this solution because there is a high probability that they will end up scamming you.

BIG WARNING!!! I have been one of their big customers in the CBD business in Europe. They took all my funds and reserves they held. Calculated what they paid out versus what amount is settled with paytriots. The total fee was above 20%. This company is a big SCAM and do not ever do business with them because they will take your money and not give it back.

AVOID – Breaches Data Protection & Ignores Disabled Customers We've been with Paytriot for over 5 years, and it has been nothing but a nightmare. They breached the Data Protection Act by discussing sensitive information over the phone without even verifying my identity no name, date of birth, or any security checks. They offered solutions that they never followed through on and tried one bank to fix our payment issues before dropping us completely, leaving us without a functioning gateway.

Three years ago, they promised support to integrate with our website, but the staff member responsible left the company, and we were left with no assistance and significant financial losses. We recently signed a new contract, and they failed to notify us that they had pulled out of it, causing more disruptions to our business.

As a team with neurodivergent members, including myself and the other director, we’ve made it clear that communication is crucial. Yet, despite tagging the company’s directors in our complaint 3 months ago and following up 6 times, we’ve had no response or resolution. This is not a company for those in high-risk businesses like CBD or anyone who needs reliable support and communication.

They onboard you quickly but drop you just as fast, with no warning. They’ve shown no consideration for our disabilities and left us hanging with broken promises. If you have Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, or any other neurological condition, avoid this company. They do not value your business or your needs. Look at the reviews – this is a pattern.

3 months tons of follow ups and not even got back about the original complaint the money and other shave lost over them is unfair as they just ignore you and keep going

I was working with a deadline to get a payment processor as we were running a campaign as a company. The setup was very easy and the team communicated everything clearly.

Using Paytriot has saved me a lot of time as I don't need to handle the accounts. My account manager regularly sends me breakdowns which mean I can focus time on growing my business!
