Customer Service Not Great Following Product Quality Issue
I ordered an expensive a high-end scent from PD, via Robert Dyas. I have been wearing this particular scent for decades and so did my father. Therefore I am fully aware of what this should smell like.
Regretabley this did not smell as I expected and furthermore, the scent only lasted around an hour, which is way below what I'm used and expecting.
We know this can happen. Many years ago something similar happend with an aftershave I bought in Selfridges and they offered me great support.
I called Robert Dyas who had difficulty in contacting PD's Customer Service on the phone whilst I was on hold. Robert Dyas suggested I try to contact PD directly myself. I felt encouraged after I viewed PD's website and read through their help section regarding this very subject (My fragrance doesn’t smell right?

I follwed the instructions, sent 2 emails, called several times and left messages but I have not had a response yet.
Very Disappointed...
**Update - coincidentally, they contacted me just before this was published so will await their response. Thank you Perfume Direct**
** 2nd Update 20th April - sent the batch number info over to the PD rep who contacted me but have not heard anything back as yet. Not sure what the procedure is and how long this will take to sort out**

Yes unfortunately with fragrance, if it hasn't been stored correctly during its lifetime - this can sometime affect the scent & strength.

I paid for express delivery for next day took 3or4 days to get to me I got a gift box for a 60 ml bottle of perfume the box look like a shoe box wasn’t happy at all didn’t get my express delivery what I paid for and didn’t use the gift box

Hi Wendy, sorry to hear you weren't totally happy with the delivery time. I can see you ordered over Easter Bank Holiday weekend when our warehouse staff were taking a well earned rest. That will be the reason for the slight delay in dispatching your order.
Also sorry you weren't a big fan of the gift box - we usually get great feedback about these! There's an image of the gift box that you can see within the cart when you add this option to your order so our customers can get an idea of how the gift box looks.

Good price and prompt delivery.
Only thing against was the Packaging box? 3x width of perfume box and had a little bit of paper as a buffer. Wouldn’t have stopped it moving around much.
