I completed my PT course through National Health & Fitness Academy and I’m now continuing with my nutrition course, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
The course content is practical, easy to follow, and actually prepares you for real-world coaching not just passing assessments. The support from the team has been solid the whole way through, always quick to help and genuinely invested in your progress.
What stood out most for me was how relevant everything is to working with real clients. It’s not just theory you’re learning things you can apply straight away.
If you’re looking to get into the fitness industry or level up your knowledge, I’d definitely recommend them.

NHFA was amazing! The videos were set out well and easy to comprehend. I loved the practical hands on teaching style as well. I ended up securing a job before my certificate IV had been issued so I contacted the team and they managed to fast track it. 10/10 experience. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to study for a career in fitness

Was a super fun experience meeting all of the trainers that helped us become trainers ourselves🙏 trainers like Rylan made the course fun, relatable and easygoing while still maintaining a very stable level of professionalism, giving us as students a goal to strive for beyond a piece of paper that calls us trainers. Simple to follow and memorable👍

I'd put negative 5 stars if I could. Enjoy your free 1500 free money for doing absolutely nothing. Straight robbery. Also terrible course and would not recommend

Studying with the National Health & Fitness Academy has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

I came into this course later in life, and I was nervous about going back to study — but NHFA made the whole experience supportive, practical and empowering. The course content is clear, evidence-based and very relevant to real-world training. I especially appreciated how much focus was placed on understanding scope of practice, professionalism and client safety.

The practical components gave me real confidence working in a gym environment, and the support from the team has always been encouraging and responsive.

If you're considering a career in personal training and want education that builds both knowledge and confidence, I highly recommend NHFA.

NHFA is a standout course provider. They are the best! At the time of applying I had many friends doing their certs online who were struggling. Their course material did not look very engaging and they had to film and re-film videos for submission.
I didn't want to do that so I investigated my options and spoke to Mel at NHFA.
Initially I was worried as I live in Hervey Bay and my Cert 3 was in Indooroopilly in Brissy and my Cert 4 was in Maroochydore. That was going to involve a massive amount of driving. I was 49 when I applied and have a knee injury but Mel reassured me that I would be looked after.
She was so right! Best decision I ever made. Both Goodlife campuses were exceptional. I had the privilege of working with Dave, Travis, Mel, Phil, Steph, Ryan, Nathan and Adam.
I found all the coaches extremely knowledgeable. They are experts in their craft. They were also very supportive and helpful, especially with my knee injury. I can't thank them enough.
The people in my groups were fun to work with and the hands-on sessions informative and enjoyable.
The online learning was so good! I watched what my friends were doing in their online courses, and it was no way near as engaging as Dave's videos. Dave has the best explanations and cues. I appreciated the jokes and funny stories.
Jen also was amazing in her online tutor role. She helped me heaps as I am new to online platforms.
I have recommended this course to all my mates considering doing their certs. It was worth all the hours of driving to Brissy and Sunny Coast. That's the sign of a great course!!!

I was apprehensive at 47 years old going onto this course but it has been such a great experience. Videos are fantastic, comraderie on practical days are great. Every week you feel you are getting better and more confident in becoming not just any PT but an effective one

Good value in the course and straight forward to understand

All round amazing experience and i met some very cool friends through the course. It really builds up your confidence and gets you ready for the real world of PTing. I couldn’t reccomend NHFA more. :)

Almost finished my NHFA Personal Trainer course Cert 3 and 4 and have learned a lot from the practical and theoretical video sessions to help me with my future PT job prospects. The workshops were an excellent experience and through them I was given a meeting with Goodlife staff and have since signed a contract to begin next month. The course has helped to make me industry ready and has greatly assisted me up to this point. The workshop trainers, Tim and Jay, were excellent and very helpful during the 3-hour Mt Lawley Goodlife campus sessions. I would highly recommend this course to anyone thinking of becoming a Personal Trainer as it is a terrific foundation to commence your career.

Loving my experience with NHFA so far while working towards my Cert III in Fitness.
As a busy tradie, dad and Ironman athlete, the flexibility and support have been exactly what I needed. The content is practical and easy to follow and I’m already gaining the tools to step into the fitness industry with confidence.
Highly recommend it to anyone juggling a busy life but ready to level up.

These guys are fantastic. I looked at quite a few different options when I was deciding who I was going to study through. NHFA was the first to get back to me and follow up. From the phone consult to enrolment to the actual commencement of the course, the process was seamless. The learning platform is very easy to navigate and the support you get on a weekly basis is priceless. The NHFA team has so much knowledge to share and they do it in such an enthusiastic way you can’t but enjoy the journey and get excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. I could not be happier.

I couldn’t speak highly of NHFA. There experienced and knowledgeable crew walk you through the process and give you all the confidence you need. Dave has become a true role model for me and the amazing people working behind the scenes are just as special. Had a great experience with NHFA and really enjoyed the blended delivery of online for the theory components that can be completed at your own pace and the in person practical sessions. Huge shout out to coach John at Pitt St in Sydney who made the practical sessions a super fun and valuable learning experience. Highly recommend NHFA for anyone looking to start their career in the fitness industry.

I honestly enjoyed my PT journey with NHFA. The video tutorials have been great, allowing me to learn and review at my own pace. Also, the content of the video tutorials is practical and informative. I’ve enjoyed the real life experiences shared by experienced and knowledgeable PTs.

The practical lessons have definitely been a highlight, getting to interact with others and learning from instructors experiences. The instructors for the practical sessions have demonstrated passion for the industry and been highly motivating for me especially Coach John and Rob. I’ve enjoyed my entire experience and the new friendships I’ve made. Thank you for all that you do!

Great team environment, excellent knowledge from the trainers and some of the best online training I have used.

Company will lie and tell you everything you want to hear about how it’s in person and how they will support you and do everything to help them then when you pay it’s 98% online with no support from the teachers and they don’t accommodate injuries. If you have to withdraw good luck cause it’ll cost more than the course itself. Absolute scam
