Jordan attended today for the final time to check that there was no further evidence of mice in our loft. Everything looked to be clear so he took away all the bait boxes. Hopefully we do not have any little visitors returning. Very pleased with the service provided.

Overall, the service was professional and appears to have been effective. The technicians arrived on time, were friendly and respectful in my home, brought the right equipment and used shoe protectors. One squirrel was caught, and I have not heard any further activity in the loft since, so the practical outcome was positive.
Everyone I dealt with, both over the phone and during the visits, was helpful and explained what would happen next when I asked. My main area for improvement is therefore not the staff or the treatment itself, but the way the service is packaged and communicated.
The customer experience feels quite defensive and commercially protective from the outset. The booking information is comprehensive, but much of it is framed around additional charges, customer responsibilities, limits on follow-up visits, circumstances that may end the guarantee, and what happens if the process is not followed correctly.
I understand why a large pest-control company needs clear terms, defined service limits and protection against unnecessary callouts. However, the machinery of the business is extremely visible throughout the experience. Payment is taken upfront, visits are tightly defined, several situations may incur extra charges, and the customer is responsible for monitoring activity, checking traps and deciding when a follow-up is justified.
Even where all the necessary information is technically provided, the overall tone can make the customer feel as though they need to navigate the process carefully to avoid accidentally using a visit, ending the guarantee or incurring another charge. That creates unnecessary uncertainty at a time when the customer is already dealing with a stressful and unfamiliar problem.
A shorter, more human - reassuring summary at the beginning would improve the experience considerably: what normally happens, what the customer needs to do, what is included, and when additional charges genuinely apply. The detailed terms could still follow underneath, but the service would feel more supportive and less contractual.
The problem appears to have been resolved, and everyone I interacted with was pleasant and professional. With a warmer tone and a less defensive presentation of the commercial terms, the overall experience would feel much more aligned with the premium price.
