Overall I was happy with the experience. The comedy is a bit dated and the end was strange mixing tv adds with well known rock music. I'm not convinced its worth what he is charging.

Attended Peter's show in Glasgow and left at the interval. The show was so poor the outer gates of the arena were opened to allow people to leave at the interval. Up to then the show consisted of singing old TV adverts and a few attempts at funny stories. I don't even recall laughing once. I asked my wife to score the show out of 10 she said "3" that's 2 more than me. Sadly disappointed but wish him well in his remaing shows but the content needs to change.

Was so looking forward to this but so disappointed. He’s gone from hilarious observational family humour to joking/obsessing about his penis not working, erections & inappropriate comments (dodgy uncle asking young niece to do a cartwheel) along with lots of the F word. Very sad I never saw him years ago.

Like everyone else I’ve followed Peters stand ups tv shows and videos.

Now obviously Peter has had some personal issues; Hence is absence from the stage and for people to comment leaving negative feedback on how peter Kay’s performances are now is a little sad.

Absolutely hilarious lastnight in Liverpool, well exceeded what we thought after seeing some bad reviews. People need to lighten up and realise the man’s a legend. He’s still as quick witted as he was and it’s great to see him looking so healthy

Fantastic show and a very memorable night. The Manchester audience were with him all the way….well of course they were ! Peter Kay is such a star performer and we loved everything about the show, as did everyone around us.

Just back to our hotel after seeing Peter Kay at the M&S Arena Liverpool. We struggled to get tickets when initially released but when extra dates were released we managed to get them. Having looked forward to it for months we were a bit anxious about some of the negative reviews but we needn’t have worried! For us Peter Kay absolutely delivered and we had a great night! I laughed, cried and laughed a lot more. He was genuine, connected with the audience and we had a brilliant night!

Peter Kay was warm, funny, hilarious, dead pan sarcastic timings, amazing extras
( don’t want to give anything away) and we didn’t want it to end. Absolutely fantastic evening! Thank you!

Thankyou Peter, is all I have to say...your a blessing to this country...I feel blessed to have come to watch your amazing show tonight...with a packed 15,000 audience...loving your usual ease of comedy....and In awe of how you make it so easy to make everyone laugh...such a great...fun...emotional evening...one I'm so glad I didn't miss...my mum also loved the show...laughed her head off...took her for her 80th birthday...thanks again Peter...Katie and mum from Shropshire (n'ee Stokies) xxx

Terrible comedy, constantly relying on old jokes, the set was outdated and poorly executed, he’s just there for the money 💰

Newcastle Friday 5th September. As others have said - just awful. Not funny at all - it felt like he was just there for the money. When he left the stage the first time there was about a minute of applause and then it went quiet.... I think the crew started shouting "more" to get him back on stage - it certainly wasn't the majority of the audience!

Saw Peter, on Saturday the 6th in Newcastle after a very long wait. The poor score and negative reviews mystify me especially if you compare them with the positive reviews on Ticketmaster. Yes the seats were too close and yes the drinks were ridiculously expensive but I, along with thousands of other people in the arena that night had a lovely, lovely evening. He's one of us. Love him.

I get what some are saying about the old stuff being rehashed - but he remains a genuine entertainer and there were plenty of good belly laughs at his show in Newcastle. His Jimmy Nail gag at the end of the first half was classic Kay. It is a pity there wasn’t more of that.

Don’t listen to the poor reviews! He was brilliant. Laughed from start to finish! Mr Kay at his best. Thanks for a great night. And don’t forget to put the big light off. 😂

I saw him in Newcastle on the 6th September 2025.Very poor performance. I barely raised a smile. At times he seemed rambling. Far too much emphasis on singing tv tunes and old adverts(not in the least bit funny.)
It was all deeply disappointing.

I just don’t get the one star reviews. We laughed from beginning to end. Everyone around us was laughing too, didn’t see anyone leave. I’ve been waiting to see him for years and it was well worth the wait. Absolutely loved it

I bought tickets nearly three years ago and was really looking forward to seeing Peter Kay live in Newcastle and boy was I not disappointed . Me and my partner really enjoyed the show and can’t believe some of the reviews I read and think it’s just a generation thing so if you didn’t enjoy it that’s just you I would definitely go again and I know he’s on again in 2026 so very possibly I will attend.

So disappointed in this show.

As others have said there was just a lot of padding out to pass time, filming the audience for ages, singing adverts and the encore - what can I say about that.
The best bit was the misheard lyrics but he’s been doing this for 20years.

I’m sorry his nan passed away, but again it was just pointless to the so called comedy and I’m sure she’d be disappointed by his lacklustre performance.

It felt like this was just a quick way to make money as he obviously hasn’t spent the past few years off writing anything new or funny.

Sorry Peter but give it up now before your come back ruins everyone’s memories of what a comic genius you used to be

Was a huge fan of Peter. All of his TV work and seen him in concert multiple times. Saddened to say this was an awful showing. First time we’ve left a concert mid-way. Very little content padded out with overly long sections - holding a camera on the audience, singing TV adverts etc. Left the younger audience with nothing. Add in swearing and some cheap lazy jokes rounded the night.

Wanted to love the show but first half was dreadful ,people leaving at the interval.

2nd half better but not worth the wait left feeling I wish I had not bothered .

Don't waste your money .
