horrible company that will legitimately trick you, and they will do this in a moment when you alredy under stress.

I have been trying to get my pet insurance cancelled with Petsecure for almost a year, but they don’t respond to emails with written requests to cancel and I get the run around when I call them. They have been taking my money now for over a year with no claims payouts. They are scammers. Avoid this company at all costs!

Avoid this company. They will find any way to rejects claims. Like others, they will classify issues as preexisting, even when medical records support otherwise. Not tell you your file is missing something until you are in neef, etc. Very poor customer care. Pay more for Trupanion or another company, as you will regret Petsecure/Petline.

They are simply scammers living off your money! great business for them, sucks for you! Processing bills takes up to 4 months!! Any sickness the pet gets is always and ALWAYS pre-exisitng, even if the cats vomits or has diarrhea. Keep in mind, it is all PRE-EXISITNG, and what is more annoying is that after you discover that they are a bunch of thieves you have to keep paying them monthly until the fake contract ends

I regret choosing petsecure. I understand routine and elective procedures are not covered, but unforeseen complications arising during recovery should be. I spent another $1600 for complications from the spay and had to pay out of pocket because PetSecure would not cover anything to do with spay INCLUDING COMPLICATIONS FROM RECOVERY. I found out that Fetch by the Dodo will cover complications. I regret not choosing them from the start instead. Do yourself and your pet a favour and do not go with Petsecure. They also do everything old school by paper and it takes a long time to get claims processed.

They are very slow in processing claims and repeatedly say submissions are incomplete. For example, on my last claim, I received a note a month later saying I had not submitted an "itemised receipt" even though what I sent did list all necessary items. I then sent the receipt again - twice - and still, 6 weeks later, have not received payment.
I called the company: they apologised and said they would process the claim. This would not be so bad if it were an isolated incident, but it happens with depressing regularity. On the other hand, Petsecure has no difficulty relieving me of my monthly payments with depressing regularity - no delays there!
