Can only agree with others on here regarding the taste of the new PGtips tea bags. Absolutely awful! Been a PGtips tea drinker for over 20 years. What do I do now? Why oh why can't things be left alone?!

Holy, crap! What the heck happened to the best tea ever? We’ve been drinking PGTips for decades. This last time we ordered a bag of over 1,000 bags and it totally sucks. The bags are completely different as is the taste. We needed 2 bags for a litre of tea. Even with 4 bags it is still tasteless. We will never buy PG, again.

I have been using Pg tips Pyramid for years,such a great cuppa, now you have charged to square teabags the taste is not the same, they tear so easily,please being back pyramid teabags as they are the best, I'm not a happy customer.

I've been drinking PG TIps for at least fifty years, even after moving back to the US where I now pay quite a lot for it. When the doctor told me fifteen years ago that I had to stop drinking tea, I laughed and found I was allowed decaf. The only one that was good was "The Tasty Decaf", PG Tips. Now I am the disgusted owner of 140 of the new formula tea bags for which I paid quite a lot and which are going into the bin. Dreadful! If I wanted straight up orange pekoe tea (Chinese), I'd drink American tea, but I don't because I detest it. The new bags have barely a pinch of tea in it, which is decidedly orange in the cup. Barely tastes like anything and that's terrible. Clearly I am not the only person who is not happy, so I hope the company listens and brings back the old formulas, especially The Tasty Decaf by making it tasty again. And lastly, these new bags are awful. Too big with barely any tea in them. Bring back the perfect little pyramids. There was nothing wrong with PG Tips, except the terrible idea someone had to sell it to Lipton!

Absolutely awful tea bag now it's square... 0 flavour has to be the most tasteless tea bag ever even letting the bag sit for ages still not taste won't be buying again

I used to really like PG Tips but I am wondering now what has happened to the flavor and taste. The old pyramid teabags used to be really good but now the tea bags are square and they just not the same. I feel like the quality has dropped and I believe the pyramid bags were so much better. Please go back to selling pyramid teabags in the shops. I don't think I'll be buying the square teabags again personally.

Omg!! The new square bags with zero taste is awful! How I miss my cuppas, obviously cheap tea but charging customers more, bye PG another lost customer 🤢

The decaf pyramid bags were the best decaf on the market absolutely delicious and a lifeline for my husband who can’t tolerate any caffeine, the new square bags I don’t mind so much but the change in blend is disgusting. I don’t care about the brewing time I care about the taste and this just feels like a way to spin a cheaper product as a new ‘innovation’. We’ve switched to decaf Yorkshire which is nowhere near as good as the old PG but better than this new stuff. Such a shame but unless they revert to the old blend we’re never buying it again. And it’s more expensive…

My favourite cuppa ruined! PGTips what have you done to your tea, it's now vial, 🤢. Won't be buying it again! My dish water tastes better!

I'm really disappointed that the company have chosen to get rid of what is probably one of their most favoured products.
Yes the new bags are biodegradable but could this not have been done with a pyramid bag?
The tea is now more expensive and seriously lacking in quality and taste. I can leave the bag in my thermal mug of tea for nearly half the day and there is zero difference in taste and quality.
Time to find a new brand I think.

PG Tips pyramid teabags were perfect, now they have changed to square teabags and probably reduced the contents they are rubbish. Will not be buying them again. What dimbos run these companies. If it aint broken , leave it alone.

Just pure nasty

4months or so ago I bought the 1st box of new PG after 30 years on old PG. Also paying around 20% more and getting about 25% less bags. In some ways I’m glad I got less bags. Because I wouldn’t be able to stomach anymore of this low grade powder. I Read the instructions after wiping the dust off work tops. If I left tea bag in for as long as they recommended, it would be stewed. You can tell it’s cheap 3rd grade tea by the staining you get on all the mugs and cups. Only thing that works to clean them, is some domestos in hot water. Then rinse and wash them as normal.
My rant over, Their loss. Gone back to Tetley.

If ain’t broke don’t fix it comes to mind had something good now it’s gone to 💩. Only brand I’ve drank for 30 years and this is by far the worst cup I’ve had bring back the pyramids 🖖🏽🙏✌🏾

I cannot believe that items are changed without considering the people who are your customers. I have always drunk pg tips up until your new design and massive price increase. They are weak tasteless and not worth the money.no matter how long you leave the tea bag in hot water makes no difference. Unfortunately left with 3 boxes I do not want (always buy in bulk from Costco) I had a cup of Yorkshire tea the other day and will be changing it was so good.

I have been using the pyramid tea bags for years why they thought it was a good idea to change them is beyond me, the square ones are vile, I will be using a different brand from now on..🤬

Hate the PG tips square bags 😢 They don't make a strong cup of tea ..I left it in my cup for ages this morning but not strong enough so I had to use 2 bags .!!!
I've also wasted some as they tear badly. They are not user friendly as unlike the pyramid ones that squidge nicely with a spoon these don't and drip everywhere...I loved the pyramid bags hate the square ones 😡
