Esperienza purtroppo abbastanza negativa sulla barca Zeda Mega , la cabina per tre persone pagata in totale
23.200.000 Idr per due notti e tre giorni di crociera era piccolissima , quello che doveva essere il terzo letto per mia figlia in realtà era un materasso messo per terra in condizioni igieniche terribili.
Abbiamo deciso di toglierlo e dormire in tre sul letto matrimoniale.
Inoltre per concludere con la cabina durante la notte il motore veniva lasciato acceso ed il rumore fortissimo non permetteva nemmeno di dormire.

La nostra guida dell'equipaggio è stata praticamente assente, comunicava a mala pena il programma e durante le escursioni non ci ha mai accompagnato.

Il programma non ha rispettato quello che era stato indicato con la prenotazione, l'ultimo giorno siamo stati solo in una spiaggia vicino Labuan Bajo e poi siamo tornati al porto.

L'unica cosa che rimane da questa esperienza sono sicuramente le bellezze dei posti che abbiamo visitato, il cibo a bordo che nonostante tutto era molto buono.

Ultima cosa da aggiungere e considerando il caldo molto importante, le bevande a bordo erano calde non c'era un frigorifero...assurdo!

Di sicuro torneremo in Indonesia...bellissima , ma non ripeteremo questa esperienza!

Unfortunately, it was a rather negative experience on the Zeda Mega boat. The cabin for three people, which cost a total of
23,200,000 IDR for a two-night, three-day cruise, was tiny. What was supposed to be a third bed for my daughter was actually a mattress on the floor in terrible sanitary conditions.
We decided to remove it and sleep three on the double bed.
Furthermore, to finish with the cabin, the engine was left running overnight, and the noise was so loud it made it impossible to even sleep.

Our crew guide was practically absent, barely communicating the program and never accompanying us on excursions.

The program didn't match what was stated in the booking; on the last day, we only went to a beach near Labuan Bajo and then returned to the port.

The only thing that remains from this experience is definitely the beauty of the places we visited and the food on board, which, despite everything, was very good.

One last thing to add, and considering the heat, it's very important: the drinks on board were warm; there was no refrigerator...absurd!

We'll definitely return to Indonesia...beautiful, but we won't repeat this experience!

I strongly advise against booking a boat trip through Phinisi Trip.

We booked and paid IDR 15,300,000 for a 3-day/2-night Komodo trip for two people on the Zada Mega, from 27 to 29 July 2026.

On the very first night, we discovered that our cabin was severely infested with cockroaches. They were inside the bed and even coming out of the air-conditioning system. The cabin was completely unusable.

We immediately reported the situation to the crew, but no suitable alternative cabin was provided. We were forced to sleep on the deck instead of in the accommodation we had paid for.

Because of the unacceptable hygiene conditions and the lack of any reasonable solution, we no longer felt safe continuing the trip and had to leave the boat before the end of the itinerary.

We subsequently contacted Phinisi Trip several times to request a fair refund, but so far we have not received a satisfactory resolution.

We have photos documenting the conditions of the cabin and the cockroaches, as well as proof of booking, payment and our communications with Phinisi Trip.

After reading other complaints about similar experiences, I strongly recommend being extremely cautious before booking with this company. In our case, the service delivered was clearly not what we had paid for.

Do not book without carefully checking the operator and boat you will actually be travelling on.

The crew was very attentive to both safety and the needs of the passengers throughout the trip. They were friendly, helpful and professional, and clearly did their best to make the experience enjoyable.

The 3-day/2-night itinerary is excellent: very rich, varied and interesting, with many activities and beautiful places to discover. This was definitely one of the strongest points of the trip.

However, there are some important drawbacks. There were more than 25 passengers on board, and the boat is not very large, so it can feel quite crowded.

More importantly, the shared cabins have a combination of single and double beds. Some passengers who did not know each other were required to share the same double bed. In my opinion, this is not acceptable unless guests are clearly informed about this arrangement before booking. This should be made completely transparent in advance.

The cabins are also quite noisy, particularly when the engine is running, which can make it difficult to sleep.

Overall, the itinerary is excellent and the crew deserves a lot of credit for its professionalism, attention and commitment to passenger safety. I simply think such a good crew deserves to work on a more modern and comfortable boat, with better sleeping arrangements and fewer passengers.

Do NOT book with this company! They messed us around, ultimately we ended up in Labuan Bajo with no trip - they cancelled twice- once about a month before we arrived, with the only option being more expensive which we had to take as is high season so we struggled to find anything else. Then, 3 days before we arrived, cancelled, no explanation and not alternative. We paid by direct transfer, they 'refunded ' via PayPal, but we received over $ Au 100 less and now they refuse to answer. The good reviews are for the actual boat operators, not this booking agent. We have heard the same story hear again and again! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

Myself and a group of friends chartered the Sora for 4 days, 3 nights in June 2026. We had a fabulous time. The guide, the crew, the food and the activities were all top class. Highly recommend it. However, there was an unfortunate ending to the trip. We paid the full fee to Phinisi Trip well before the voyage and we were advised on the final day that Phinisi Trip had not made payment to the boat owner. We were faced with the situation that we would not be able to disembark until payment was made. We also understand that a significant amount of money was still owed to the boat owner from previous trips. When I posted this review on Phinisi Trip website it was deleted by the host.
We would highly recommend the trip with Sora but suggest that bookings be made direct with the boat owner and NOT Phinisi Trip. We have since seen reports of other travellers being in the same position due to Phinisi Trip failing to pay the boat owner.
