Just from walking into the building, being kept informed of every step of the process to having time to answer any questions or concerns. Such an amazing Super clean relaxed atmosphere. The patient is made to feel relaxed and valued. Surgery is performed very highly and Recovery is fantastic with staff ensuring that the patient is comfortable at all times and pain free. I cannot recommend “The Pines Electiva” highly enough. Get yourself a first class service and feel valued all the way. Staff all fantastic and all have care empathy and cannot wait to see you and help you in anyway they can. Thank You again for changing my life. Thank you soo much . Gary Bale

I had a mini bypass at the Pines under Phoenix Health this week. The hospital is gorgeous and all of the staff are wonderful, can't do enough for you and are super friendly.
I can't fault any part of my stay, I was treated exceptionally well and never made to feel a burden or a nuisance.
Unfortunately the doctor who attempted to take bloods could maybe use a refresher course in taking bloods.

I just want to thank everyone for all there help you have given me . You all have been amazing from start to finish . I can’t thank you all enough

Phoenix Health and the Pines hospital have be fantastic, From the first appointment up until my surgery date last Wednesday, the staff have been so supportive and efficient, Surgery team and Hospital staff were so friendly, hospital was so clean and welcoming to visitors.

Had a gastric bypass on 8th July at the Alexandra hospital
What an amazing place that is, the staff on Chester ward couldn’t do enough for me, nothing was a problem and they where there 24/7
Also my surgeon Mr Javed such a pleasant friendly man who made me feel at ease
And the anethatist was the same, the two of them just made the whole experience extra special to me

From the start of my journey till now ( 3days post op ) Phoenix health and Alexandra hospital have been amazing. You've got nothing but Fantastic people that look after you with kindness and encouragement. I can't recommend enough, just a simply fantastic company ran by excellent people. Thank you x

Just had a gastric sleeve done and was a huge success would recommend Phoenix for anyone looking for weight loss surgery also the staff are really nice and respectful for any of your needs

Phoenix and the Pines hospital were honestly lovely throughout my surgery journey! They have wonderful friendly staff who did everything they could to make me feel welcome, safe and cared for, for my whole recovery. They go above and bey9nd for their patients and I think that's amazing :)

My overall experience was 5 Star from start to finish the staff were very amazing they were kind and very attentive, I felt very looked after highly recommended!

An excellent hospital with a holistic approach towards healing.It is very clean and neat. Very caring doctors and nurses.They are very prompt and attend to patients,very polite and make you comfortable.

Had a RYGB 22nd-june-25 via electiva-hospital wish I never had it now. The doctor recommended it after me wanting the sleeve. I had one dietician saying one thing and then another saying something completely different both from phoenix health communication is shocking I personally waited 28 hours for a phone call after calling up to say I was having extreme head aches even 9 days after surgery I would personally avoid here if possible

Absolutely incredible team. Made me as comfortable as possible from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Could not reccomend them any higher

Had a mini bypass on 10/6/25 and could not be happier with the experience from Ohoenix Health and of all of the team at The Pines, Manchester. From first contact the staff were amazing. I felt informed, safe and considered every step of the way. The appointments were on time and the next steps were always clear. The hospital was immaculate, felt very spoilt. I’ve stayed in hotels that were not as nice. Every member of staff were exceptional and to this day the follow up and after care has been kind, professional, very clear and very supportive. Would 100% use Phoenix again and would absolutely recommend.

I had my mini gastric bypass on 4/6/25 and would 100% recommend the pines/ phoenix health to anyone wanting similar surgery. Mr Almere and his team in theatre were outstanding, I was very nervous but was treated very well, Mr Almere was impeccable and his bedside manner is outstanding. The nursing staff who looked after me for the 2 nights I was there again extremely dedicated and helpful, they should all be very proud of themselves.
