Amazing very helpful caring staff

The flexibility to be able to do my classes from anywhere at anytime. As a mom to 2 very busy boys this makes school exceptionally less complicated and more achievable.

Professor are supportive and courses related to job experience. Administrator and staff team are encouraging and answered questions in a respectful manner. Positive outcome

This school has a problem with communication. Not only between their staff in the various offices but with their students. I was given an advisor that I spoke to twice in the year and a half I attended this establishment. I spoke with countless other advisors but the one that was assigned to me was most of the time unavailable. In seeking assistance for my disabilities, I was granted accommodations but was still left in the dark when needing assistance. In the end I stopped my accommodations and let the grades land where they did. If I didn't understand I just would ask others or just do what I could to get through it cause asking the individuals I was directed to ask left things vague or lacking in understanding. Each department also has their flaws. Academics, Financial, they all have problems in doing what is needed to help understand why. They follow their script in how to speak to someone but do not actually give you the information that is needed to fix or solve an issue that arises. Even when you withdraw from the school there is still plenty of problems afterwards. Making sure your funding is taken care of is a big one that gets screwed in the long run, and even if they say they will expedite the process they cannot give you a timeframe on when it will be resolved. However, they can give you the timeframe of 30 to 45 days for them to return money to the lender you had. The communication, lack of compassion, and just downright disregard for the students that seem beneath their experience is outstanding and rude. I see all the reviews that this is a great place to go to school, but it was a complete nightmare for me. I am in total hope that others who struggle with a disabilities do not get treated in the ways I was at this school.

Having an academic counselor and a financial counselor helped to boost my confidence.

What makes my experience great is how the faculty, counselors and advisors all play a part in making sure that the students academics, careers and future are priority. The support is overwhelming and that is important to a students journey.

When telling students that the assignment is unlimited and the teacher said she basically don’t care in week 4 that she knows it said unlimited she not regrading anything. Telling students it is unlimited tries and it’s not true is very misleading and has never happened in all of my years attending this school. Very disappointed and when I reached out to an academic advisor he said it’s nothing he could do.

Has been a great experience thus far .. easy to navigate , great communication from school to student. Flexible

I love this school! They are always there to walk me through things I may have questions about, and they make sure I understand everything I have called about before we hang up. The instructors I've had so far are very understanding and very supportive and they push us students to be our full potential.

Everyone at the University of Phoenix is great, They are all about making sure their students are successful.

Great classes, instructors, and communication

University of Phoenix is not only a University, a community in fact a family where every one cares . … This is home for me , I call it as my life support and success .Those who has a question on my level up , just look at where I went to school , how I got smart to be who I am ..

Classes are awesome

I had the best experience! I work full time, I have 3 kids and the schedule and homework was very easy, the professors was very helpful

The program itself is straightforward, and while the classes were challenging, they were manageable and not overly difficult. My biggest issue was with the faculty rather than the coursework.
On multiple occasions, I was accused of academic misconduct despite completing all of my work independently and properly citing and referencing my sources. Additionally, many professors provided little to no constructive feedback on assignments; instead of explaining deficiencies or offering guidance for improvement, they would simply assign failing grades.
The grading policies also felt excessively harsh. For example, losing only 8 points on a 100-point assignment could result in not only failing the assignment but also failing the overall course grade. In my opinion, this grading structure is unreasonable and does not accurately reflect a student’s performance or effort.
Even when teaching out to the academic counselors for guidance they would only tell me to talk to my teachers and not offer any actual guidance.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this program to others.

I love the flexibility and everything is always readily accessible. The Professors and amazing very knowledgeable and outstanding.
I appreciate the consistency with the structure of the program, from assignments, communication with all staff members!

Easy access, great professors, timely information

It has been an easy ride due to the help and instructions from the faculty.

The classes are relatively easy, some you can work ahead. Grading scale is sucky. Never had an A- effect my gpa so much. No 4.0 anymore. A lot of group work assigned. Group members aren’t responsive and lack accountability. They produce material that doesn’t reflect graduate level education. The professors are nice and accommodating. Haven’t had issues beyond being assigned group members that don’t do their work or literally don’t try.

With the current courses they are great. The cyber class professors have been great and very personal. I have been able to talk to them offline. Especially the last two classes
