Just another dropshipping crowd as far as I can tell.
Unclear that what I was ordering went on backorder PRIOR to payment, and when after 8 days I called to check, I was made to feel as if I was to blame and should have noticed, attitude of contact was pretty condescending, freight cost was a bit excessive (rural, but on normal nz post run), and may take up to a month to arrive, so end cost was not much less than going to drive 2 hours each way to the closest franchise with a J in the first place. Can't say I'd recommend and will hesitate before using again, based on pay window structure, but definitely won't be again now given the reception I got from phone contact. (perhaps just sick of fielding calls like mine and or feels like a not valued employee? maybe just having a bad day, maybe I'm just a whinging pr**k, lol - who knows).
As for purchase back order window on website, I would strongly suggest they get whoever builds the webshop to make it FAR more noticeable in future. (apparently I missed it more than once, therefore I must be stupid - I guess they could be right).
It is a shame so many companies in NZ seem to think the customer is simply a mechanism for instant profit to squeeze every last cent from, instead of building a rapport with a customer who may have (definitely ongoing in my case - reg sparky using these as LED lighting Drivers for MY clients) been looking to purchase far more in future. Guess I'll be looking elsewhere going forward. Pity.
