Quick delivery, good communication and the gin is great as well

Not opened yet, but delivery was quick!

I ordered this as a surprise gift for my brother (who was born in 1947, same date as the gin label). The first attempted delivery said 'no on was in' -but my brother and his partner were both in. I rearranged the delivery and told my brother 'a parcel would be arriving' so he stayed in and I also left a message for DPD, to leave it, in the event no one was there, 'go down the few stone steps and turn left and leave it by the door'. But, even though my brother was in all that day, on the second delivery attempt (and I received an email from DPD saying 'delivered' plus a photo of the location of where the parcel had been left, and I knew it was not my brother's house door) the parcel was not left at my brother's house. He eventually, later that evening, discovered it had been left outside another property down his lane, and that person said he was planning to leave it on a stone wall top somewhere or in a field above my brother's house! These two are not 'good neighbours'. So my brother went there to fetch the parcel. This, because of DPD, somewhat spoilt the 'surprise gift' and caused me some concern. I emailed Pickering's about 9 days ago to inform them but have had no response, which is poor service. My brother was pleased with the gin. I informed DPD about the problems and they phoned me to apologise so perhaps Pickering's could take a lead from that and do the same. Maybe because to Pickering's; it was a 'small fry' order?? But to me it was a special thing and at some expense. Hello Pickering's, do you hear me?

Service, second to none. Arrived quickly, was well informed, and michael delivered as promised. The taste, well, fantastic, I tasted a few gins but pickerings tops it all. That's why I'm ordering 2 more, and the price is good. Well done all.

Did the tour and it was fascinating to see how small it is and how they produce so much amazing Gin from such a small distillery.

Highly recommend Pickering's and all their flavours and an absolute definite is the Xmas balls. To which I have 4 sets and use them around the house as all different kinds of Xmas decorations.

Keep it up Pickering's. Roll on this years Xmas balls. And obviously the refill of previous years. LOL
