We design and manufacture in Detroit and at our U.S. factories and sold online, in stores, and at weekly pop-ups. Check out our website to see where you can get your piece of Pingree. At Pingree Detroit we believe business is strongest when products are solutions and well-being is maximized. In our Detroit workshop, US veterans and Detroiters are paid a living wage to handcraft unique footwear and fashion accessories using leather upcycled from the American auto industry. Every Piece has character and purpose. Just like the people who make it. Right here in Detroit.

I ordered a set of coasters from Pingree Detroit because they intrigued me, made in USA and made in Michigan where I live. Received them today, they look great! I also liked the enclosed card telling me who made them. This company also works with veterans which is wonderful!
I bought a set of Onyx color but there are 3 other colors too. I like these better than ceramic ones because they won't mark our hardwood floors if/when they get knocked off the table!
Great product, quality workman/workwomanship, nice packaging and prompt, traceable shipping
Would buy from them again!

What first drew me in was that this supports a great cause, for veterans. The quality of what they make is wonderful too. I use my notebook and the leather cover all the time. It is carried around everywhere and stands up. It wears very well and is excellent quality.

Detroit Love is Real
Love this organization! Items ordered were all excellent quality. Shipped quick & kind notes were included in order. Just got on the wait list for their purse and cannot wait for when I can order. The dog bow is adorable… you will not be disappointed. Ordered gifts today for the holidays. These items are worth every penny and their mission rocks!

I love having a piece of old and new Detroit. I had expected something more than glue with cork, but was happy to support this effort and do love the history of the product.

Thanks Marilyn. We have some products that are hand cut and hand assembled to support a variety of skills for those just joining our team, and those with different abilities and/or learning our skilled trades. You directly supported the training and development of our team members and appreciate you for that. We are considering coming out with other styles of coasters that are sewn as well in the future and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Great little company!!
I saw this company on ABC and wanted to do my part to help out. I purchased a set of the coasters. They are the cutest little things and really nice. Suede on top and cork on the bottom. You could actually use them for many things.

Amazing. Thanks Emily! You're a gift. We have also found a ton of applications for them beyond just for beverages. :) Thanks!
Leather hot pads
I ordered there hot pads. They are well made for the tasks at hand. The thick yet pliable leather is easy to use when taking out a hot cookie sheet from the oven. They can pull double duty too as a insulator between a hot pan and your countertop. Very pleased!

Quality products
I ordered the dog poop bag holder that is attached to the leash, which I love, and the coasters and hot plate. I am giving the coasters and hot plate as gifts, so I haven’t used those. The bag holder is very handy and really cute. Everything is top quality; I highly recommend!
