I signed up for what appeared to be a simple trial on the Pixerase website. The site charged $0.10 for a 1-day trial, which seemed harmless.

However, less than 24 hours later I was charged €49.90 via PayPal for a subscription that I did not knowingly agree to.

The trial conditions require cancellation within 24 hours, while the trial itself only lasts 24 hours. This makes it practically impossible to cancel in time before the automatic billing is triggered.

I did not intentionally subscribe to a €49.90 monthly plan. The $0.10 payment appears to be used only to obtain payment authorization before the automatic charge follows shortly afterwards.

After researching the company I discovered that many other users report the exact same experience on Trustpilot and other review platforms.

This type of billing structure appears to be a classic subscription trap based on a misleading trial model.

I cancelled the subscription immediately after discovering the charge and requested a refund.

I hope the company resolves this matter and refunds the €49.90.

Hello, I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but in this case I want to warn everyone that the service is low quality and borderline fraudulent. They lured me in with a single photo for 10 cents, only to then charge me €49.90 for a monthly subscription through PayPal. The quality of the photo is, needless to say, ridiculous — it’s far better to simply use ChatGPT.

I contacted customer support and was told they could not process a full refund and that, at most, they would refund 50% within 2–3 business days. It has now been an half month and I haven’t seen a single cent from them. Instead, they keep telling me there are issues with PayPal, with the bank, and that nothing can be done — in short, just imaginary excuses.

I will be contacting my lawyer and I am confident I will recover much more than €50, as my right of withdrawal for digital products has not been respected.

The next day They charged Eur 49.90 from my account WITHOUT MY AUTHORISARION FOR ANY SUBSCRIPTIONS!
ABSOLUTE FRAUD!
Moreover, once contacted by email, they ask not to open paypal dispute to demand a refund, as rhey threaten to "freeze payment" and delay the refund
