My name is Alex Francois, and I serve as the Manager of the Construction Training Program at One Treasure Island, a nonprofit organization located in the heart of San Francisco Bay. Used their site to make purchases several times. Never any problems, and items were always well packed to avoid damage in shipment.

I placed an order on the website and I made a payment with my card. I received an order confirmation and it seemed to me that our business had worked out well. After about an hour, however, I got another email telling me that the price of the product I had ordered had gone up from $189.28 to $270.40 and that my order had been canceled. Presumably, someone saw that I was placing a large order and decided to raise the price to get more money out of me. On the site and on the phone, I was simply told, over and over, "we are human" like I am some kind of moron who doesn't know what kind of creatures run a business. The business, of course, is not human, and is therefore held to a higher standard and should be held accountable for mistakes. Just shrugging your shoulders and saying "Sowwy! :(" is terrible customer service. Before you buy from PK Safety, keep in mind that their listed prices are wrong, and they do not care about honoring their sales agreements.
