A safe and sane intermediary

They are the middle man between the hospital or clinic and the individual seeking less expensive medical care.
In my case, I received a quote from Cevre Hospital in Istanbul. As requested by the hospital, a deposit was given to Placid. Three weeks after the deposit, the hospital informed me that they could not do the procedure and Placid found another medical facility but I decided against it and my deposit was returned. Raquel was very helpful during this entire experience

PlacidWay found me the perfect doctor!!

I started 1 year ago getting prices and reviewing doctors in Buenos Aires. It was almost a full time job! Different options, prices and other countries. I wanted BA because I have been there before ans felt very comfortable there. I would not have found the BEST doctor w/o PlacidWay. I am convinced he was perfect doctor for me and made it all worthwhile!

Friendly helpful staff

Friendly helpful staff, clean nice facility, good transportation. There was no surprises--everything happened as predicted. My only problem is a big one--no results. I was seeking help for loss of eyesight from macular degeneration but I am not giving up. I feel like I need to be in touch with an optometrist specializing in stem cell treatment and transplants

SVF stem cell therapy

I’ve had my SVF stem cell therapy done by Dr. Zimmerman. I’ve come from India for this treatment and it was really an outstanding experience! Both the doctor and Lisa were very professional and helpful during and after the treatment. They guided me very well and answered all my queries immediately. I strongly recommend this clinic for their services.

I contacted Placid Way to inquire about stem cell treatment. Gonzalo, ask for medical history and the destination city for the treatment. He searched and screened 5 or 6 clinics in Cancun until he found the perfect fit. He always responded to my questions and calls quickly. We're very happy with the clinic, treatment, quality control and Dr. A.
Definitely, a 5 star service. I highly recommend Placid Way services for all medical tourism.

After a terrifying experience, PlacidWay saved the day!

My partner and I were looking at getting full dental implants and it was going to cost around $80 grand in the United States. We started checking in Mexico and it was so much cheaper. We thought we could negotiate everything ourselves and we found a recommendation from a friend and jumped in without knowing anything.

We were afraid to use a service like PlacidWay because we thought it was going to add a layer of expense to the service. We had been saving up but didn't think we could afford to get a third party involved.

After my partner endured 11 hours straight with no breaks and ended up with a fractured partial denture and no teeth, we were beside ourselves. Our entire future seemed ruined and we were in Mexico where we had no recourse.

That's when I found PlacidWay online. I started messaging with Guillermo and he connected me with the best surgeon ever. I was able to meet him via video conference and was instantly comfortable around him. He was always available to answer questions and went out of his way to make sure we understood exactly what was going to happen.

When I went in to get my surgery, it took about 3 hours. They knocked me out and when I came to it was done. No complications and surprisingly no pain. They were even able to fix the two implants from the other doctor that failed in my partner's mouth the same day. And when you consider it was half the price of the other dentist and a small fraction of the price in the US, we were so pleased.

Throughout the entire process, Guillermo was our hero. He handled everything. When we showed up and couldn't find the office, for example, he was on it. He arranged for someone to come out and direct us within minutes of contacting him. He is so attentive and so kind, it made a terrifying experience so much better.

And the wild thing is that you don't pay directly to Placidway. They work with the dentist and get compensated from them. I would have gladly paid Guillermo for all that he did for me and for my partner. In fact, he is still checking in on us regularly while we wait for six months for our final checkup. Really amazing service. We are so happy. I can't imagine doing anything like this again without PlacidWay.

Stem cells Vega clinic, Bangkok

The staff and the place and everything about beeing treated with stemcells at Vega clinic, Bangkok was pleasent and a deelight, I was treated for spinal-stenosis in my neck, I had a general transfusion of stemcells in my body, and allthough I was functioning ok for at man of my age (56), I had a sexual rejuvenation, stemcells shot directly into my penis, the problem with the treatment is that it had no effect on any of my problems except my penis, which has made me completely, like COMPLETELY impotent within a month after treatment at the clinic, I fail to see that it should not be related.
I am currently trying to go to Germany for a check up on why that is, and to find a cure, but I fear it is irreversable.
It is the absolute oppesite effect from what all the stemcell-clinics advertise, I beg all of you to not go down that road, for that problem..

Chaos and incompetence extraordinaire

Quite frankly I don’t know if the employees are paid or volunteers because it seems like no one is doing anything - this is the worst medical agency I’ve ever dealt with. No one was able to explain things to me either in a timely manner or correctly.
Let’s start with “Raquel”: I had had organized with her days in advance where and when I would need to be picked up initially and when I arrived she had not had anything prepared - she thought I was in a totally different city. I had to wait over an hour to get an impromptu ride organized by my poor surgeon herself. And the only compensation or apology I got was “my bad”.
When I got to the facilities, no one explained the processes or itinerary from Placidways side even though a coordinator “Ricardo” was apparently there. The only contact I had with someone there was finally when I started having a panic attack because I was confused with how uninformed I was - Ricardo then just got frustrated with ME like it was strange that I’d be feeling that way. The only sense I get from this agency is they want to take the most amount of money with the least amount of effort. I would have had a better experience just organizing things myself.

Far exceeded our expectations and plan on returning!

I was beyond impressed with every part of the process! From the first step of the initial researching phase to the actual procedure, and communication regarding all things, far exceeded my expectations! Also, they were very flexible with some changes in dates that we had to make due to family circumstances, and the kindness and understanding we received was amazing! I highly recommend PlacidWay to anyone considering stem cells. My son is 3 years old, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, legally blind with optic nerve hypoplasia, multiple brain anomalies, and developmentally delayed. His tone, strength, awareness, vision, and overall wellbeing showed significant improvement within the first couple of days post-treatment. When we arrived back home, even my husband noticed a huge difference in multiple areas. We are very blessed and most definitely plan on returning!

Great research was done

Great research was done. Very helpful & very active on the conversation. I was referred to Odonto Liuzzi in Rio De Janeiro, caught my flight from Canada and did not regret my choice. Great experience

I found PlacidWay online and they were quick to answer and introduced me to few hospitals in different countries. I choose Turan Turan and choumoukh was fabulous in everything. She guided me for the paper work for the visa and kept me informed for everything. My brother was in good hands. The price is better compared to many other countries. I am very satisfied.
