Positive experience with customer service/company
My mom ordered a bunch of furniture from Plank and Beam. She heard about them from a ChatGPT query. So, she ordered and then had a ton of regrets. Was it too good to be true? Did she click through an email? Was it a scam? Why was it hard to find info about the company of their web site? Then I looked here and saw the negative reviews. So, she wrote in to their email and cancelled the order. At first, we got a ‘maybe’ email - saying it depended on order status. Then we promptly got an email saying the order was cancelled. I told my mom to double check with her cc company. She didn’t. Then one pice of the furniture showed up. My mom tried to refuse delivery with FedEx, but they wouldn’t take it back. So, she went back to customer service at Plank and Beam, and they were wonderful. Said to keep it, donate it, whatever. Obviously it wasn’t worth the cost to ship it back, but they handled it all with class, professionalism and customer focus. Since most come to TrustPilot to share negative experiences, I wanted to give them a shout out for the positive. And, my mom confirmed the charge was reversed.
