I was very impressed with the excellent customer service I received on the phone from Natasha De Villiers. She returned my call promptly, was a pleasure to deal with on the phone and had excellent communication when assisting with our charity football booking. Really impressed and everything was sorted with one phonecall.

Unresponsive and unhelpful
Have charged us for pitches we haven't used and caused hassle when trying to get money back. Told us about a cancelled pitch 2 days before kick off, and is only closed because it's Easter (the leisure centre where the pitches are is open).

Barking FC are currently training at Mayfield which we have trained for the pass 3 years and Natasha has always gone above and beyond with any requirements we have and responded in timely manner.

We’ve played in the league at York (Roko) PlayFootball for 3 years. Always been spot on and dealing with everyone on the PlayFootball team has been a pleasure. Would definitely recommend for any football activity whether that’s booking a pitch or playing in the well managed leagues.

Booked back in Auagust 2025 for…
Booked back in Auagust 2025 for winter season training , all paid, now I want to cancell 1 session and they keep sending me terms and conditions document to sign that was never sent at the beginning of the booking, with 5 weeks left. I have emailed to be ignored and just ecive repetitive docusign document
So I jave forwarded along with my emails to the venue and trading standards. I Won't be using the venue again whilst they use this provider and we have booked every year for the last 6 years before they took over, dont expect any form of customer service , my advice book somewhere that does not use playfootball.

After reviewing your account, we can see that our bookings team have not spoken to you, nor have you contacted them directly, since 24/07/2025.
The emails you are referencing (and replying to) are automatic emails because you had an unsigned document. All users require this, so these are sent automatically until a customer signs it.
If you ever need any help or assistance from our Bookings Team, please raise a ticket via the website. We can see you have used this process in the past and had all issues resolved.

Natasha De Villiers is ultra efficient and helpful. Always quick to respond via email at what must surely be a busy time, what with grass pitches under water. Can`t speak highly enough of the service.

Prompt service for bookings
We've been using the astroturf pitches at Redbridge Sports Centre for a number of years. PlayFootball took over the bookings at the start of the season, and after some initial teething problems the service has been excellent. Our primary contact, Natasha, has been very helpful particularly with our recent short notice requests for usage on Saturday mornings for our youth training when our grass pitches have been waterlogged. We look forward to continuing to build the working relationship.

Several years of reliable bookings
I've dealt with Play Football for several years. For the past two years Max has been reliable and efficient in addressing my booking enquiries including resolving most issues straight away.

Really negative experience
Really negative experience. I was in a playfootball league with a group of friends, and we ended up having to drop out due to multiple long-term injuries and a few players moving out of the UK. Playfootball staff initially told me to submit a cancellation form and that once I did that, they would only continue to charge me weekly match fees for a maximum of four weeks (and would stop charging me sooner if they could find a replacement team). A few weeks later they went back on their word and said I will be charged every week until the end of the season. Feels quite unprofessional and disorganized.

This does mean we hold teams to the contract and terms, which are signed on entry into a league, when it impacts that integrity of the league for other teams/customers.

Set up a block booking with these and everything was made really easy for me. Haaziq was excellent as I was confused with when the booking was going to finish and he very promptly emailed me all the necessary details and helped me close it all out so i didn’t receive any extra cost. Highly recommend

Max a perfect employee
Working in a local primary school I made enquiries about using a playfootball facility in Manchester.
I spoke with Max a number of times who was absolutely brilliant. He replied quickly, showed my enquiry with ease and showed a real committment and dedication to make sure that any future enquires were dealt with in the same manner.
